They removed the players displayed country on ACR. If all the bots were from the same country, it could help identify a bot farm
ACR no longer shows you what country players are from when you used to be able to just by hovering your curser over their avatar.
They removed that about 90 days ago

Pokerstars is terrible for Brasilian players playing to help each other out, chipdumping until you get knocked out then try and beat each other.

Ignition is worse than ACR. There is minimum 2 bots at all my tables.

I can see that being the best spot for bots. No tracking and everybody anonymous. ACR was flooded with them a year ago, NL12 was hilariously tough.
Iv noticed on GG that my hand has auto folded a few times. Iv not reported to GG as iv just put it down to user error. However I'm quite certain it's not user error. It's always been when I have a decision to make on the flop it's just folded of it's own accord. Iv posted this to see if anyone else has experienced this, playing on my phone so it's not impossible that iv actually pressed to auto fold by mistake. However like I say I'm quite certain I haven't.

Hey Charlie, with regards to your cash game with webcam, I would suggest bringing someone in who has a background on cyber security. Basic cyber rule -- if there is an open channel to your webcam, there's a potential exploit that can go the other way. Hope it works out my friend!
I believe country attributions jnandez was referring to are the markers on avatars showing the country of the players

My opinion on HUD's... We wouldn't catch cheaters and bots as easily if people were not using HUD's. Also HUD's are available to all players. If you are serious about winning you need a HUD to track your personal in game data to ensure you aren't exploitable. Also, I just won 2 big pots back to back on ignition while watching this video due to the fact I think the people were possibly colluding because I saw your other video about that. My HUD stats and the amount of hands they were opening and both trying to push me off the pot is what clued me in. I have noticed that the accounts with VERY high VPIPS are the ones to watch out for. Also the ones that join/leave/join/leave. They are trying to reset their table stats. Just a heads up to the real ones out there. :) So, I think that HUDS have some positive aspects as well.
country attributions is probably that in the past it was possible to see from which country the player is playing from and since like some time in 2023 they made an update and now you cant see it
I think the camera thing is a good idea. And from a developer standpoint I think when setting up your account you should do a facial recognition setup with it too
Country attributions means when you hover over their screenname does it tell u what country the players from? Currently its just a screenname with no location.
This is the reality for online poker going into the future. I don't think there's a way to avoid the fact that bots and technically savvy insiders at these companies will use the fact that most of these places are based out of places with lax regulation on international enforcement of laundering/blue collar crimes to their advantage.
TLDR: only play live now in a home game you trust or a sanctioned casino.

I have always felt this playing in these player pools that I was being cheated or colluded against, but my ego kept telling me I was being paranoid and just upset that I wasn't as good as I thought I was? Its just very weird when you're a consistent winner on one site at the same stakes but on another you're break even... i hope i receive compensation, but I highly highly doubt I will.

huge fan man. iv been playing for years and still can barly stay afloat. would be nice if i could get some pointers from you. have watched countless videos on youtube a feel like they help but results would deny that. would like to know where my mistakes are mostly being made.
Make cameras mandatory.
Due dilligence - Difference is with RTA/Bot rings is they're banned by the websites, whereas HUDS are allowed. Due dilligence doesn't really matter here, regulated websites that make rules like this should be putting measures in place to enforce them and protecting their players, recreationals or regulars.
RTA might get you a ban. But collusion strats won't necessarily. I've reported colluders before and had an email back from stars saying "Yes, they were colluding, but we're not going to ban them, here's your refund." (paraphrasing). Which i honestly could not believe my fucking eyes when reading. At the very least, there is a decent amount of collusion slipping through the net, and pokerstars is completely aware, i'd argue that they may even be complicit at this point, just too many cases of collusion that have gone completely unacknowledged by them, as well as the prementioned instance where they even acknowledged they were colluding and didn't even ban the accounts, i know this to be the case and even still have the email to prove that part of what i am saying, if anyone wants to chase me up on it.

No accountability to the player pool. If the cheating doesn't have any penalty for the site, then they won't change. The site still makes the rake, so why would they care unless it costs them player numbers and less rake? Fix the accountability. I play in a legal poker state in the US. While I am sure there is some level of cheating that happens, I also feel somewhat better in that there is "some oversight" of the gaming.
easy way to get rid of these bots is the HERO has to act between a certain amount of time in random hands. if you have 30 seconds total to make your decision, on a random hand delt, the hero would have to act between 12 seconds - 19 seconds. not every hand but just a random hand that the hero is involved...what do u think Charlie? I take it your not the one who told him to risk his entire bankroll (i watched 2 or 3 of his vids)

It’s the casinos themselves, that plant the bots, it’s programmed into the algorithm. With more security checks for the user, it changes nothing, except that the user gonna be the more “manipulatable”…

Charlie I was grinding cash 4-10 tables back in 2006ish and had a Chat Window pop up asking me to answer questions.
That is scary at 1-2, Ive been playing on a different site .50-1 and they can run like you're playing 1-2. Use to get on there and easily make 60BB per hour, now I'm struggling to get head above water. Definitely time to pull bankroll and play live.

Nah, this actually can be true, but I don't think it would happen on licensed platforms as they can make much more money legally and easier, long term guaranteed by just gamblify the game as much as they can, so it's not worth it as if they are caught they risk everything.

Nowadays I doubt people are cheating on their actual IP address. Everyone does so through some sort of proxy server(VPN). Given the population and the fact that there is no casino in mainline China, I'd say the chance of having more than a few Chinese players on a single table isn't that slim.
