- Baked ziti is classic Italian-American comfort food! Bake ziti pasta with sausage, tomato sauce, and all kinds of gooey, yummy cheeses. This easy baked ziti recipe is always a hit!
This baked ziti can be made with ground beef and Italian sausage as well.
Ingredients!
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dry pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1 tablespoon complete seasoning
2 16 ounces Jimmy Dean country pork
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon sugar
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 large onion diced
4 ounces crushed tomatoes
24 ounces tomato sauce
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
4 ounce ricotta cheese
3 ounce Parmesan cheese
1 egg
4 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon parsley
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon

Mix the crushed tomatoes, seasonings and tomato sauce and refrigerate the day before using it. Add this mixture to the meat and layer the pasta. For a side dish have broccoli and serve a side of sauce, and garlic bread or sour dough bread.

I made this last night. I used everything except fresh parsley and chicken bouillon in the sauce. I added a couple of tablespoons of sofrito and sazon. When I tell you it was so good. My friend took half the pan home with them. This will be my go to ziti recipe.

The best thing is the ricotta cheese.
Making this for the 2nd time. It was so good last time. I've also made spaghetti a few times using these exact spices & its really kicked up my sauce from the plain jar I've always used lol

We was raised up off of eating Ragu sauce ..I Love Prego its extra thickly..can u consider frying thick pork chops then smother pork chops in freshly made stove top gravy with thickly freshed mashed potatoes with broccoli on the side ?

You didn’t mention, “drain the grease from the meat.” And I UN- thumb up, after the second strike: 1. Don’t use pork. 2. No sugar, in pasta dishes!
