  • Back tracking on the little black Postie bike. Storm and clay roads make me take the black top stuff the long way around. This is Part 2 going from Pooncarie NSW to Broken Hill NSW.

    My dad loved Honda CTs. We have owned a CT 90. I currently have a CT110 and CT125. I wish Dad were still alive to watch your adventures. Thank's for sharing.

    I started riding posties in Thailand... l don't recall ever turning back even though l would shit myself but then, l would see a complete Thai family crammed on a postie... felt ashamed and never worried about what may come again. That's when the ''adventure'' really started!

    Great series Mark, watched the five parts in this series over the weekend and really enjoyed all of them. What a fantastic little bike the CT110 is, so simple and reliable, will be getting one later in the year. A classic!

    I was in Oz during Sept 13 for month riding a GS from Syd to Perth via red centre and those flys got everywhere i had to keep my lid shut to keep them out - guy in Coober Pedy told me after you swallowed your 4th they all taste like chicken. I used your videos for insperation and also took a photo from the same spot as you did on the Great Ocean Road. Thanks for the videos Mark - Oz is a fantastic place and is calling me back!

    Keep going mate.. Love your videos .. Would love to catch up one day mate.. That Pooncarie to Menindee road I road on my 990' a year ago and was not too bad, but it looked a lot sandy on your ride. Good luck mate well done

  • @BikerBits
    @BikerBits  Před 11 lety

    G'Day Pez, just a couple more tough ones and then I'm done :-) I had 4.8 litres in the bike tank and 10 litres in a jerry can. I could have got away with a 5 litre jerry can. Roughly when on the highway going pretty much flat out I would get 120-130kms per 4.8 litres and when I was plodding along the back/dirt roads I would get 160kms easy. Cheers... Mark

  • @BikerBits
    @BikerBits  Před 11 lety

    G'Day Charles, LOL you just have to get back on the bike as quick as you can! It's not like that everywhere, but you get spots like that which are as you put it "bat-shit crazy" :-) Cheers... Mark
