Thankyou so much for this, absolute life saver, I had tried everything except this one ! I have an old 2015 hp touchscreen laptop which id not used for some time, it had a bit of a jumpy mouse etc , I just upgraded it to windows 10 and was still doing it after the upgrade. I was going insane! this was perfect , now my cursor dosent keep jumping around all over the screen and opening/ closing programs etc. Much respect to you 👍

If you don’t see the Enable/disable tab, just right click the HID-compliant touch screen option and a disable option should pop up. Thanks for the video bro my screen cracked and I need to write this essay.

I have what it looks like a very similar HP laptop. However, I had to go to "Mice and other pointing devices" and disable the "USB Touchscreen Controller" from there. Your video still pointed me in the right direction. Thanks.

Once I type in device manager and go down to human interface devices it only pulls up HID-compliant wireless radio and HP Wireless Button Drive and thats it ibhave never been able to use touch screen on mine since I've had it and it's been since October of last year if you could help me solve my problems that would be great I would like to have the option of touch screen
