    Am I the only one that got like really emotional and teary eyed towards the end when she was talking about the book? Something about the way she describes all aspects of art and it's impact is so poetic and beautiful and touching ....it's hard to put into words but it's quite magical and it's what's keeps me coming back to her channel !

      ABSOLUTELY 💯 AGREE!!!! Her voice and her observations and perspectives captivate me. She speaks in a deep and touching way. The things that mean something to her..mean something to me as well.

    Your videos are like a tonic for my heart. I so love Beam paints and can hardly wait for your video on them. I was so sad to learn I missed your shop update yesterday. I keep hoping that one day I will get lucky and be able to nab some of your beautiful watercolors. Back to your videos; seeing your home and gardens is lovely and your lovely soft voice is so calming. Thank you for bringing joy to my day.

    So special and lovely the way you describe art! Thanks to you and to the artists that across time and universe were there to open the world’s eyes to what was to see and to know and learn about History especially when there wasn’t any camera… just artists eyes!🤩 🌬✨💕

    Hi Thea, Please consider selling me a palette of your colours the next selling of your paints?? I keep missing them! I love landscapes, earth tones with grain like you do and sparkle too!
    I like botanicals rose, pink, lilacs , peachy, apricoty, colours in washed out and also saturated brights too so I can use my gouache titanium white and, and paints I have to mute them down or to add sparkle. I would love whatever palette you surprise me with.
    I would like each of whatever paint colours you make.
    I would be happy.

      I am currently working on a new website to launch the Landscape Course and I may be able to sell palettes from there as well. As soon as I figure it out I will contact you and let you know so you can reserve a palette! 🤗

    Beautiful video! The earthy metallic in the mint tin, may I ask which one that is? 🙂 Also, the gouache you used to put them in there, was that an acrylic one or am I completely mistaken? 🙈
    The book is positively dreamy! Thanks for sharing!

      hehe 😅 ah you are right, it’s acrylic gouache, luckily those half pans can stay right where they are! but yes if you want to be able to move them you’d need to use regular gouache or watercolor. & Thankyou So! I think that was Faye from Nibs Pens and Ink on Etsy? I’ll try to list the ones I used with links in the next couple of days 🤗💞

    Hello, I was wondéring when you will be making more paints? Will you ship to Canada? I have been paitiently waiting and keep hearing of the shop paints selling but I don't know where, and where do you do your paint palette swatching parties?? I feel I am missing out.

    Also, to try put impressionist and loose painting is there a book you can recommend on it?

    I see you used acryl gouache to hold your metal pans in your little palette. Can you let it dry and use it instead of magnets? When it dries, can you wash the paint off? Can it be used in a tin palette the kind from Meeden?

    • @thepoetryofcolor
      @thepoetryofcolor  Před rokem

      If you want to wash it off, use regular gouache, not acrylic gouache. I did not realize when I grabbed this tube it was permanent. You can probably use a palette knife to scrape it off but I would recommend using regular gouache or even an old tube of watercolor paint. That is what I normally use. Just old student grade watercolor paint will hold it well & allow you to move it as needed ✨
