I’ve always thought that calm Sugalite (not enraged, like when she tries to kill Pearl) is the Crystal Gem’s most powerful weapon. She actually synchronizes well unlike Alexandrite. Her insane punch to the communication tower also makes me think that she has more raw strength then either Malachite or Alexandrite. It seems that while Pearl added many things to the fusion, she only reduced its strength. When you combine this with Sugalite’s savage, violent nature, she could be a really heavy hitter. Of course, you could make the case that she’s still too dumb to do anything…

He’s not tho! He’s Steven. Before we knew Rose was Pink Diamond, people would say he wasn’t guilty for shattering Pink Diamond, cos he wasn’t Rose. Just like he wasn’t Rose before, he’s not Pink Diamond now.
With the last episode having such a DRAMATIC reveal, I wouldn’t expect just a “basic” episode. The way this show is heading, I would expect almost every episode to be very symbolic! :)

If the diamonds do get poofed at the end of the super intense battle, what will the crystal gems do next? Logically, they would probably bubble them, but that could lead to some problems. Mainly being the fact that homeworld might grow suspicious after two of the remaining diamonds went completely missing after going to earth? Homeworld might send a few ships to check up on the diamonds to see if everything is going according to plan. Those homeworld gems could find the crystal gems and Steven, including the poofed diamonds, and possibly go back to homeworld to report to the only remaining diamond. That diamond being White diamond. White diamond would most likely then send a large chunk, if not all of homeworl's army to earth, possibly even go to earth, assuming that yellow and blue diamond didn't bring any reinforcements.
Again, this is all speculation and probably won't happen. If this was true, this somewhat ruins the plot point of the diamond attack, as it wouldn't hold as much weight, as it would have been done before, assuming that all of what I've is true.

i would just like to throw in something about that corrupted jasper in the burning room. I absolutely agree that this is related to bismuth. but not because of the reasons you listed. I think bismuth gets released, sees the corrupted gems, sees THAT corrupted gem bubbled, and pops her bubble to reunite with the gem inside, not knowing about corruption. that gem? that's VERY similar to a specific type of jasper. BIGGS jasper. as in, where is biggs and crazylace and snowflake. and since bismuth got poofed before the corruption, she would think Rose poofed her friends like she was. just a thought i had as you were talking about how it might play out.

I think they mean how the shield is SO big to shield and to begin with. I think Steven uses ROSE's shield and the manipulation of the shield's size is Pink diamond's. I mean if the shield is so big, wouldn't it be suspicious? If Steven really uses it to shield everyone, it should be obvious that it's big, bigger than Steven made when Jasper and peridot attacked them. When Steven used the shield to shield the C.G, Steven was exhausted because it was either the size of the shield he made or the impact of the attack that caused his exhaustion. Idk just my thought :P
I don’t think he could. If Rose could make a sheild that big, why didn’t she make one big enough to protect ALL the Crystal Gems in the flashback, instead of just Garnet and Pearl? I think that Pink Diamond’s powers are much weaker in her Rose body, and even weaker still in Steven’s body.
AbuBakr Akram there's no time. If you actually scan the flashback you can see that pearl and garner are the only crystal gems near her. That explains why she only saved 2 of the c.g.

If a human can fuse with Steven, could multiple humans fuse with Steven and could they also fuse with full gems? Could we have the entirety of Beach City fusing together? Alexandrite gets poofed, then the humans and Steven all offer to add more power to defeat the diamonds?
that's probably possible, but that fusion would probably be very unstable. even Alex can be unstable sometimes and look how close garnet pearl and amethyst are

Even though the leaks felt "spoilery" for most SU fans. I'm curious as to what type of events would lead up to said leaks?
Such as the one with Blue and Yellow appearing calm around Steven, supposedly on "friendly terms." Sure, that was a big reveal...but we don't know what HAPPENED before it.
For all I know, Steven approaches the Diamonds; wishing for an audience. Naturally, Yellow would want to punish "Rose" for the events of the Trial and...just because. But somewhere down the line, something might be said that leads to the Diamonds' demeanor softening.
This is simply speculation, mind you. We still don't know what might happen. But in the end, having two of the four Diamonds on our side could be a huge positive.

+sadlobster1 Well, we know a fight will ensue based on the promo. Perhaps a lapse in the fighting will cause some conversation? A conversation in which confusion leads to passivity? (Example: Diamonds caught off guard with Steven saying something along the lines of "I'm Pink Diamond", creating a tense moment in which the fighting stops.) I just don't think the peace will last. I'm not convinced that Blue and Yellow will become allies after learning about Pink.

As for the Diamonds becoming allies, we may be in for a surprise
+sadlobster1 I don't know... if they do become allies, it'll be spread out over more episodes. I don't find it realistic at all for them to suddenly be ok with everything. Perhaps a non-aggression truce could be made, but I find it hard pressed for anything else to come of it; besides the obvious threads to a further arc in which the Diamonds become true allies.
Bare in mind, my speculation stems from that one accidental leak. Where Steven is on Blue's hand and both she and Yellow appear relatively calm in the team's presence.
It may not seem like a "realistic" idea, at first glance. But we don't know what this arc OR that particular episode might have in store.
Perhaps, some incident or event will happen that might bring Blue and Yellow on...shall we say, moderately peaceful terms with the Crystal Gems.
All we can do now, is wait

I really, REALLY hope that Alexandrite's battle with the Diamonds is truly massive. I know she nearly got her ass handed to her against Malachite, but I'd like to think that her underperformance in that situation was due to lack of urgency, and perhaps due to the general dysfunction that the gems suffer from. Don't forget, this time around Alexandrite is forming after the Crystal Gems have recently fallen apart and have just come back together, meaning the gems' bonds with each other will be stronger than ever, and as we've seen, a fusion's abilities are directly affected by the mindset of it's components (such as Stevonnie's abilities suffering due to the unease of Connie/Steven). I think a real powerful scene would be either Steven or Alexandrite resisting Yellow Diamond's destabilizing attack, more so in Alexandrite's case, as it would show the true power of the Crystal Gems.

I feel like Aquamarine was only as effective as she was due to the fact the gems were caught by surprise and didn't have the time or co-ordination to properly work out a plan of attack. They weren't able to use brute force due to the townie hostages, and had their hands tied by the fact Aquamarine was willing to have hostages killed if they didn't co-operate. Had they not been rushing to stop the ship and considered Aquamarine's ability to freeze targets, they could have probably outsmarted her.
EnderTroller They could have used even Opal but they needed Alexandrite to hold the ship. They didn’t really have much time as you said. Though that doesn’t mean Alexandrite isn’t at all an expectational fusion and let alone, a great experience
