As someone else said, it’s not single coil mode - it’s parallel mode! The switch is parallel/series. Which is great for making things sound more stratty
Also, amazing playing!! So clean, great demo
Pretty cool. I'm getting the exact guitar tomorrow morning.
Good choice!
The switch is for a parallel and series signal in the humbuckers not a coil split
Great playing!
I have one too, such a nice guitar.
Good demo, Jesse. It sounds like the pickups give consistent volume for each string at all positions.
Cheers Justin, yep you're right
I've got the 3 pickup model, and the quirk is that the 2 pickup model as demo'ed by Jesse, actually has a greater range of sounds. Great git, although I have changed out all of the pickups on mine for something a bit strattier. Nice light body too. which was important for me.
I haven't played the 3 pickup model but this one definitely covers heaps of ground, easily enough to get through a gig with one guitar
Great Demo and awesome tones! I‘ve got the same one and mine sounds a bit dull in comparison to my emg guitars. Is my Fullshred broken or do you also view it like that?
Cheers! Haven’t really played EMGs but I wouldn’t say it sounds dull
Sounds really nice. I remember testing strat player by you. I also have a player strat.
What is the weight? Is it lighter than strat?
For me in that price with that sound in lead and clean as single coil looks like really good offer.
It's definitely lighter than my strats, it's really lightweight. Easy to throw up behind your head! haha
I’m considering buying this guitar. What do you think about the pickups? I’ve heard some think they are to bright. And what do you think about tuning stability? Did you have tuning problems with this one?
They’re very hot and loud pickups. Great for hard rock/metal. Tuning stability is pretty good but I don’t do crazy divebombs really
