  • In this video, I assemble the X-Pro 125 X9. Seems like a decent price. To my door, it was 825. It is a 4-speed with a clutch. It is yet to be determined if the carb is going to need to be replaced. For the time being, it seems to be idle. Stay tuned for more videos about this bike. A review and a top-speed test.

    I bought the Xpro Storm 150 DXL in late December and it’s been a really fun little Dual sport. I got my son a Trail Master TM15? And we both been having a blast riding around together 😊 I think this bike will be pretty good , the chains are fairly low quality and should be replaced within the first few hundred miles. Thanks for posting 👍

      Thanks for watching . How is the Storm 150 on the road? Good enough to ride from trail to trail? I’m looking forward to seeing how the x9 stands the test of time. I’m with you on the chains. My Trailmaster’s stock chain was low quality and the tires are wearing more than my other bikes.

    Thank you so much for the recommendation of the battery powered fuel pump. I don’t know why I never thought about that. That’s a great idea. I made sure to buy it with your link.
    I’m thinking about buying this same bike to practice and learn proper wheelies. What are your thoughts so far for that purpose? How is the rear shock and suspension? Thanks. I’m 6 feet tall / 180 pounds.

      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That was the main reason I bought this bike. My brain always fights the wheelie and I press the break to put the front down . So, I got this bike to hopefully learn and do a wheelie vlog. The bike actually seems well made for the price. The chain and tires seem like they will wear fast but for the price its really hard to beat. The suspension seems good for me for trail riding and wheelie work I’m 5,10 155, but if you jump large hills it might show its price at that point. My front forks are not adjustable but the owners manual shows fork adjustment . Thanks for using the link every little bit helps. So far the pump is still holding up and works great for just filling up bikes.

    Got mine in yesterday (x-pro sail 125cc basically same as x9 but better suspension and other little things) and having exact same issue with carb as yours. I ordered a Nibbi 22mm carb from AliExpress same time as the bike and should be here in a couple of days but curious if you got the stock carb to run better or not. Great video! Liked and subscribed.

      Thanks. I’m glad you liked the video. I just got done riding it for about an hour or so. I can get it to run and idle cold but once warm it will go dead at idle. When I adjust for it being warm it won’t idle cold. I notice with the stock carb it will run fine at half choke . On mine if I’m correct it has 3 clicks one off ,half and full. At half it runs and idles telling me there is a mixture problem. I have a Trailmaster 250 too it was similar to this problem . A nibbi carb solved it . So it looks like I’ll be getting a nibbi for this one too.

      @luisnavarro1927 Před 3 měsíci

      I had same issue. The stock is a 35 idle and 87 main. It ends up loading up and dying. I had to keep blipping the trottle. I switch to a nibbi 22 and new intake and now I can wide open trottle

      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 3 měsíci

      @@luisnavarro1927 I tried to put a nibbi on mine, but it would not fit due to the key ignition. I could take it out, and it might fit. I drilled out the mixture screw that is capped from the factory, and now I can adjust the factory carb, and it runs well now.

    Sorry I have some more questions😅 I just want to make sure I’m making a good decision if I get this. What is your inseam? And what gas does it take? Regular unleaded gas or something else?

    • @RidinWithD-cv5hu
      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 2 měsíci

      My inseam is maybe around 30inchs . it has sag once you set on it. I put regular gas in it. I do get none ethanol which is 90 octane but you can get the regular gas with ethanol I just wouldn’t let it set for over a year on the same tank of gas.

    I’m sorry one more question😅 did they charge you sales tax cause on someone’s review they didn’t charge them it even though he lives in a state where their is sales tax.

      @@RidinWithD-cv5hu okay, what were all the tools you needed and what oil and gas does it take?

    • @RidinWithD-cv5hu
      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 14 dny

      It comes with a small tool kit with wrenches and everything needed. But they were cheap tools and would break easily. As long as you have a socket set , screw drivers and Allen wrenches that should be all you need. I always use 10-w40 wet clutch oil but this can be different if you are in a very hot or cold environment. The 10-40 is usually a good all around

    Did you get this off Amazon, Powersportsmax or xpro?

    • @RidinWithD-cv5hu
      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I got mine off powersportsmax at the time they were cheaper than anywhere else. It shipped rather quick. I never had any problem with them. I know they have some bad reviews.

    • @milespettingill
      @milespettingill Před 2 měsíci

      That’s what I was looking at it is cheaper and a little quicker to ship. What tools do you need to put it together?@@RidinWithD-cv5hu

    • @RidinWithD-cv5hu
      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 2 měsíci

      I can’t remember the sizes of the wrenches. But it did come with a little tool kit. You can use it to put it together. But if you have your own wrenches and sockets it’s usually easier.

      @milespettingill Před 2 měsíci

    If I get my assembled do I still have to change the oil before I can Ride it?

    • @RidinWithD-cv5hu
      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 29 dny

      I am not sure if they will change it for you. An easy way to tell is check the oil. Most of the time they are shipped with a very clear shipping oil. If they change it for you it will be a gold looking color.

      @RidinWithD-cv5hu  Před 7 dny

      I’m 510 and even though I fit on it, It would not be comfortable for long rides. If someone it taller than that I’m sure it can be done but probably wouldn’t not be that comfortable. Kind of like in the movie Tommy Boy fat guy in a little coat lol.
