Can I use same account statement for my CAS to apply for UK student visa
I have a scholarship for studying in uk( I am a student in UK). I have applyied to schengen visa. I have a bank account for scholarship from my home country. But 1 month ago, I withdrawed my money from this account, and opened uk account and transfereed this amount into this new account. What should I do? I have an appointment after 1 month.

Anyone can be your sponsor. However, their assets do not qualify as yours.
A recent bank statement is the requirement. I am not aware of any validity period.

Hi Oto. Thanks for this video. I am currently experiencing bank statement concerns with my study visa application right now. As at the time of my application, the rate of pounds on oanda was 966. I used 1050 naira to calculate my proof of fund so I was above the required amount. However, my application is still in process and will soon be three weeks since I made my application. During this waiting period, I have just been issued a scholarship from my school (which was not included in my ca).
Right now, the oanda rate is above 1050 naira and my bank balance is reading below the required amount. I’m so scared cus I feel now will be a decision period for the Ukvi. I’m so concerned the current rate will affect the decision. Really don’t know what to do. I have contacted my school to ask if they can update my cas with the Ukvi to show that I have just been issued a scholarship ( cus that will reduce the amount of money required in my bank account). Do you have and advice on what else I can do ?

Unfortunately, I have no recommendations. While proof of funds is fundamental to visa approvals, it is not the only determining factor. Wait it out.

Each countries has its own requirements. Read up for the country you’re applying to.

Open a bank account for your business, operate it for a while and apply when you are ready.

Hello! My father is sponsoring my trip to the UK. He has a joint account with my mom and in this joint account there's a large transaction that came in and then out the same day because she's currently helping my 91 year old grandfather sell a property. How can I legitimize and explain this in my UK visa application? My mom has been in constant communication with my grandfather’s lawyer with this property sell.

Your company should say that via a letter, not you. Get an introduction letter from your company stating these facts.

Hello ma, I need your help. My interview is in two weeks, I was invited by my friend (us citizens) and last year September 2023 I was invited for two month but after folling my ds-160 form I did not find any interview date before September 2023 so I pick March 2024. Now my friends who invited me felt we'll be traveling to more place and 2 month will not be enough so they increased it to 4 month on the invitation letter for 2024.

Stick to the 2 months that you completed in your visa application form. Your friend can issue another letter reflecting same.

hello mam embassy is asking for 6 months statement i had sent them recent 3 months statement
