  • Hi and welcome back to my kitchen. Recently vintage inspired piped buttercream cakes are becoming so popular, with their ornate style of over piping, giving you a really pretty cake design. In this cake decorating tutorial I'm going to be showing you the different piping nozzles and techniques you can use to create buttercream swags / drapes, piped shells, piped rope and buttercream roses to create this vintage Lambeth inspired cake.
I really hope you enjoy the tutorial and you'll find it useful if you want to add these techniques onto your own cakes. Thank you so much for watching and don't forget to subscribe for more cake decorating tutorials!

Please could you do a basics of working with fondant video, like how to get balls of fondant with no cracks, how to place fondant you've cut out on your cake without it stretching out of shape, how to get straight clean cut lines on your cake, how to get rid of white marks caused by cornflour when rolling it/cutting it out, that sort of thing? Thanks for all the videos, your cakes are amazing!!
