Thank you for Uploading. I bought a 2018 F350 XL a few years ago & wanted Cruise Control installed but my local Ford dealer made a big deal about it, talking about having to rip my steering column apart. They obviously didn't know about this kit.
How old is this kit?? Is it working well for you after 5 months??
Yes I still have the truck and it still works as it did from day one. I’ve also used it while towing the race car trailer we use on this channel

I thought you could just by the Cruise control switch from Ford and plug it in. I think all trucks are pre wired.
Not on the XLs I know forsure as I researched it a lot. I think that was on the older trucks that didn’t have so many computers. Now everything has to talk to each other and all be programmed etc
@@ThePaintPaperHustle I read on a forum that a guy used the free downloadable Forscan from Ford to program it. He had a 2012 F250. Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Good information.
The 12s are a whole different body style than the 17+ maybe that’s why. I could be 100% wrong though as I’m not a ford tech or anything. Let me know if you go that route and it works for ya please.
