Badass Horned one play. They're very fast for heavy cav and the AP/melee stats they bring are nasty vs chaos. Maybe gotta roll with 1 dragon ogre unit vs lizardmen to counter the big dinos you can usually expect to see when you're chaos.
Honestly, after that Hellcanin dive right at the beginning I was expecting chaos to be rolled over, but they almost got it. Good game indeed!
What a scrappy fight, the back and forth was insane. I love when the big investment pays off. Good job to both players.

Yeah i guess whit cahos you might want to just ignore the big beast, and try to kill the infantry as fast as you can

I once had an alliance with some lizards as Dawi, and then had Ironbreakers supported by a rev crystal. Those guys just didnt die :D .
Rev Crystal only heals Lizards, how'd you make that work

Probably one of the better games I have seen!
i dont know about multiplayer but the armor of morkhar in campaign really helps against charging cavalry when you pop it on your infantry, increased melee defense + charge reflection is a big help for the already hard to kill chaos warriors
Well, the thing is that if player pays attention he can just wait for your buff to expire, whether the AI just doesn't care. And also charge defence activates with front assaults only, and the player can outmaneuver infantry
while yes this is true it also gives you breathing room and they cant pay attention to everything + in a blob fight or just on a point giving your side melee defence boosts is never a bad thing as they can hold better against anything trying to attack

Great game. Both players had dramatic victories and blunders (both are obviously good.players though). Makes for a good high stakes replay!

Razordon Hunting Pack wouldn't they be great to deal with the severt claw RoR which is almost an autoinclude for the chaos these days?
Razors are kind of shot gun units. I don’t think they’d do very well
I doubt it, Claw has very low Modelcount as well as small Models. They´re very hard to hit when they´re in Melee. Best Way to deal with them is to tarpit them with Greatweapons.
Also instead of letting them sit inside another Marauder Unit, take your GW Unit and give a Move Order behind them. Just as you would surround a big Monster with your Cavallerie or Trolls etc. That Way each of the Claw Models get hit by multiple of yours and in the Back.
They'll just get into infantry and, or put them in ur own troops and their shields will be to much,"blue bar"

I wish it didn’t show the person who sent the replay as green. I bet it’s very rare that someone sends a replay of themselves losing so most of the time it’s a big spoiler. Cool match tho

If the chaos player had just been .0001 percent more careful with archon, and not have lost most of his hp to an almost dead krok and spear suarus, he would have won

Can skink cohorts with javelins counter maurader clavary?
My experience is no as they don't have enough ammo! With a bit of micro the cav can dodge a lot of the volleys

Chameleons can screen your Frontline as they have strong missile resist. Skink skirmishers could probably do a job too
@@barker505 unless chameleons can shoot over friendly units, won't they just get charged?
@@christianweibrecht6555 keep them near your Frontline, that way if the marauders charge the lizards can retreat. Chameleons are reasonably durable anyway, they can survive in melee for a few moments although it's not cost efficient
