Took 2 hours for police to show up for me after I sat on the phone for them explaining to them how an indictable offense of theft over has been committed while I maintained visual the entire time.
It was a Korean gang and they had guns.
    2 hours.
2 hours for a 2 man response team. Once I told them I'm taking matters into my own hands only then did they make a move.
By that time they were long gone ans luckily my car stayed in their little gang HQ and I was able to retrieve my vehicle after a 1 week investigation of forensic finger printing.

    Doesn’t surprise me.
A friend of mine in Ottawa got the same run around from police over a period of years regarding his stolen motorcycle.
And get this, police only got serious once my friend “stole” his bike back, at which point they wanted to charge my friend!!!! Not the criminal!
The most egregious part is that at some point, the criminal had gotten pulled over with that bike, got it impounded, and was able to have it released back to him without police even thoroughly checking ownership papers.
Our LE can be amongst the most incompetent at times….
