    Still can slip if the two rings are pulled, but great for anything that doesn't hold much tension. I like the look. Flattening out the melted ends will help with things not accidentally getting pulled free too easily.

    Nice... thanks for showing. I would add though that at 0:57 you actually added 2 extra loops, not 1... I used to use the standard poacher's knot you show at first with only 2 loops but I changed to using 3 loops instead a while back. I never considered using 4 loops to give the beefier looking version you showed at the timestamp, but I like it. I don't have much call for it as a decorative knot as you kindly showed us, but I'll adopt it in other ways I'm sure (in the garden and when out hiking etc).
