- Timothy James Bowen is an esteemed songwriter who has faced significant life challenges, including an aggressive cancer, a severe car accident and heart surgery. Music has been with Tim through every chapter and played a significant part in his healing process. Despite his misfortunes, he has had great success in music, having made multiple appearances at the Grand Ole Opry (USA), written songs for the US TV series Nashville and shared the stage with an incredible league of renowned international artists including The Milk Carton Kids (USA), Colin Linden (USA) and Charles Esten (USA). Tim has traveled the world over and lived more in the last few years than many would expect to in a lifetime.

I connect with him on a deeper level. I'm 24 and I, as well, went through 6 months of chemo therapy. I was also diagnosed with a blood cancer (stage 2B Hodgkins Lymphoma). I've been cancer free since June and this man inspires me to really live and experience the beauty of life and to show life what I have to offer. Thank you. â€

I believe that he'd have won had he auditioned in a different year. Aside from having extraordinary talent, he writes his own (beautiful) material and plays guitar, to boot. This guy's the whole package, and that kind of talent doesn't come around often. With his good nature, charm and humility, Timothy Bowen will always be a winner to me.

@@kismathijam9509 false. I suffer from depression but fine lots of beauty in the world. My life is a living hell, every single day of my life. I think about suicide a lot (almost every day frankly) but can still stop to see the beauty in this world.
Depression doesn't mean you see everything as negativity, some people yes but a lot of us find something beautiful in the world all the time, that something is just hardly ever ourselves

The problem was not that Timothy wasn't good enough to be a worthy winner but that Johnny was in the competition who hands down is a one of a kind generational singer. Timothy you are brilliant on your own and I love your performances so much especially your original songs. You touched my heart more than anyone on this show. Thank you so much
Johnny is just on another level. His vocals are amazing!!!! It was a biased season, he clearly deserved to win.
@@MikeJones-ir7us Can't argue with that. Would have loved to see Johnny on Kelly's team though. In my opinion Guy didn't do a very good job coaching him although I respect Guy very much as a coach.
Timothy, I know what you went through! In 2012 I suffered a major brain aneurism that nearly killed me! January 2013, I got home in October 2012 from rehab where I learned to walk and take care of myself, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer! Iâm here not there and because of those two incidents Iâm appreciating life, learning the guitar, had a major change in my taste of music, heavy metal to Country, and Iâm loving life! In October Iâll be 70! If it wasnât for the love of my wife, and my children I wouldnât be here, long live love and good music! By the way your voice is incredible!

Guy having him write an original song in the semi finals speaks to the testament of the type of artist that not only Tim is, but Guy is as well. He wanted to show the greatest strength Tim has, which is in his song writing ability and the way he tells the story of his own songs. He could've performed all original songs the entire time he was on the show and he would've been great. Every once in awhile a guy comes along on these shows that doesn't have to sing covers of anyone else's songs to show who he truly is. American Idol had theirs in Alejandro Aranda. It would seem The Voice Australia had theirs in him, shame he didn't get past the semi final.
Timothy was my favorite by far because of the way he brought you into his world through his songs. He made you appreciate life and love! I wanted him to win
I have never cried for one of these things, you made me look like a fool/crybaby in front of my friends. I may be young but I can sort of relate to his first original song for my father because he truly was the greatest thing in my life before he took his life. I believe in you and your dreams, good luck to you brother.
