First thing I think of when I see Mark perform is........ AUTHENTIC.... he doesnt ever come across as fake or a pretender, if that makes sense? He has the look, voice and stance, it all just looks natural in my opinion. Great singer and performer.

Guy had his brother and his mate at the semi-finals, You're happy and sad at the same time, Rockstars you don't find everyday he should've won.
Guy had another close mate in the semis as well that year. Matt Gresham. His journey video from that season is pretty rad too.

Mark, awesome, true rock and we need more of that....but in his own album...out of the show, I think he learned a lot from his coach and he is in the next level of greatness.....

This guy was a rockstar on the stage, he knew how to sing and perform. He was an artist, only if wasn't for Chris, he would've won it.

You know Mark may not have won but he is highly recognized. He didn't need to win he got what he needed now he's freely able to do what he needs to do instead of being in a contract where he's told what to do. I loved Chris and Mark both but Chris as beautiful as his voice is today sounds like a 1000 other artist and Mark , we just don’t have to many of that Rock/ alternative singers anymore that can kick ass on stage and yet truly truly sing great. We have Chris Daughtry , and a few groups but that’s it. The rest who consider themselves Rock singers today are not! All the great rockers are a dying breed. This guy rocked the shit out of this place. I feel in love with his voice. I felt bad for Kelly because she had to choose between her costars brother and good friend. That was a no win situation for her. They were both great I just think that Mark was a unique diamond in the rough.

Kelly is a surprisingly good teacher. I understand why a lot of singers pick her to coach.

he's one of the exceedingly few artists ive EVER heard who sounds better live. its astonishing. maybe because he brings so much awesome energy to his performances? i'm not real sure, but it is what it is.
to me, the mark of a great artist is how they sound live. since just about anyone can sound good with recording studio tweekage.

It seems to me that experienced and comeback rockers hardly if ever make through to the finals. I can think of two right now Mark Furze and Lee Harding, two exceptional singers, and performers.

Just my opinion but Mark should have taken this. I don't think a lot of people realize how difficult it is to put your all and emotions into a great rock song. To do it justice and not butcher it. To try and emulate Steven Tyler is ridiculously hard to do, that said, we need way more rock here! Also, can we not get a couple of '80's rock icons on these panels?? For example, Def Leppard usually only tours in the summer, I would love to see Rick Allen on here, how would he not be inspirational to these contestants?!
