- How do you install a 2 burner gas stove? In this ''How To'' video I show you how to install a 2 burner built-in stove/cooker. The burners first had to be converted to LPG. It may sound difficult but it wasn't. Take a look for yourself and decide for yourself.

After 6 months of traveling with our van Brutus it was time to make some improvements. In our video about the things we hate the most about our van ( • CAMPER BOUW FOUTEN | 1... ) the mobile cooker was already mentioned. We thought at the time that we needed a mobile stove to cook outside and inside, but in reality we always cook inside. So we bought and built a 2 burner gas stove. Not only does this look a lot better, it's also a lot more practical.
The 2 burner works on natural gas. The conversion kits are included and changing the burners to LPG is very easy. Don't forget to check your gas conduit. Make a bucket of water with soap and put it on the conduit. Turn on the gas, if you see bubbles somewhere you will know there is a leak. And you need to fix that.
Hopefully this video will help you to choose a built-in gas stove. I will also show you step by step how I did this.

Veel handige info! Campingaz is butaan, maar dat werkt dus ook prima op deze inplaats van propaan?
Yes beide werken met dezelfde 30mbar drukregelaar. Dat is niet altijd met elke gaskookplaat.
Dit is een gasfornuis dat elektriciteit gebruikt ?
De ontsteking kan via 230volt

Leuke informatieve video weer! Welk type gasfles gebruik je en hoeveel liter raad je aan voor trips van 2/3 weken? (alleen koken)
Bedankt Nico 😀. Wij hebben een BeNe gas fles en een campingaz fles. Met de 904 van campingaz moet je het wel 2 a 3 weken kunnen volhouden. Maar neem vooral een reserve fles mee. Campingaz kun je internationaal inruilen. Dus dat is top.
Is this particular gas stove prone to make rattling noises while driving? Since the burners and the metal structure are essentially sitting loose on top of the glass plate?
No there are rubbers under the top. So it doesn’t make noise and stays in place. The burner itself doesn’t have that but stays in place anyways
Did you use the regulator the company sent with the cooker? If so - Is it connected to the cooker itself?
No I used a different one. So we can connect a screwed gas pipe
Is it plugged into the electric current?
No we are using a lighter. We don't want to stress the battery with this.
Wij hebben een camper uit 1993 met een 3 pits kookplaat. Onder de kookplaat hebben we brandwerend materiaal, maar desondanks heeft het aanrecht toch vlam gevat. Aankomende maand ga ik het aanrecht vernieuwen en de kookplaat vervangen door 2 pits gas (Klarstein) of 2 pits inductie. In hoeverre hebben jullie rekening gehouden met het lekken van gas aan de onderkant van de plaat?
Lekken? Gas melder plaatsen lijkt me het juiste. Daarbij goed afsluiten en controleren op lek

De sproeiers zitten erbij inbegrepen, dus de maat exact weet ik niet.

We love this gas stove. The iron is removeable, so easy to clean. Also while driving everything stays in place

Ha Brian, dit werkblad is van Hornbach, de beuken. Het is wel een zwaar werkblad hoor. Wellicht als je een bamboe blad kan vinden is dat beter

Hey bedankt nog hiervoor! Ik had nog een ander vraagje, ik zie dat je flexibele leidingen gebruikt tussen kookplaat en gasfles. Ik lees dat veel verzekeringen voor (zelfbouw) campers dit niet oke vinden en eisen dat je vaste/harde leidingen gebruikt. Dit ivm met keuringen van het gassystemen tijdens keuring/taxatie voor de verzekering. Doet jullie verzekering hier niet moeilijk over? Alvast bedankt!

vinden jullie dat je genoeg ventilatie hebt aan heki dakluik zonder ventilator? Ik heb zoiets dat met ventilator dat ook weer stuk aan en duurder
Nee ventilatie valt ietwat tegen. Een dakluik met ventilator zou handig zijn. Alleen samen met een tweede opening kun je een luchtstroom creëren. Vaak zetten wij een staande ventilator aan om luchtstroom te krijgen. In onze volgende Bus Fiat Ducato hebben we 2 dakluiken. waarvan 1 de maxfann air deluxe. Daarnaast ook een zijraam
Hoe bevalt het gasstel tot nu toe? Ik ben wil er ook een gaan aanschaffen.
Topding! 2 grote pannen erop is lastig. Maar kleine en grote lukt.
Mijn zoektocht naar info over gasleidingen en campers is moeizaam. Maar hier valt mij op dat de gasfles binnen staat. Mag dat überhaupt? Het is een kleine fles, maar toch.
In Duitsland is het verplicht om de gasfles in luchtdichte kast te plaatsen. In Nederland is dit niet het geval. Je mag echter nooit met een open gasfles rijden. In onze nieuwe camper staat de gasfles trouwens wel in zo'n kast. Ze kunnen op Duitse campings ernaar vragen. En het is natuurlijk sowieso veiliger.

us neither haha. But we have also got a single burner that's a lot easier to use outside. So we will see if we will use that.
