You're playing in G but the recording was sped up so the song is actually in Ab. You must have tuned UP a half step to play in G. Love Dickey's parts! Great fun to play! Nice job covering both parts!
@@spideymarino I use the fender for clean tones almost exclusively. The Marshall gets dirty and also cleans up nicely as well just by adjusting the guitar vol. knobs. They are great amps
Any tone tips? You get great Dickey betts tone! I end up using the middle pickup selection for a lot of Dickey stuff, I don’t know if that what he actually did but it sounds right for some studio recordings
@@pat6696I do use the middle position often for the Dickey Betts quack as heard on this song. For Fillmore tones I use the Marshall and usually the neck pickup while EQ’ing in heavy treble and mids. Hope this helps. You can get on the money with JBL like speakers as well
An excellent tribute💕💕
Excellent as always! Attention to detail ,as always,..Dickey!!!
Fantastic
very nice!
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful day also RIP to Dickey Betts ❤❤❤❤❤❤😥😥😥😥😥😥
🙏
That sounds absolutely perfect.....well done..!!
Incredible playing and tone is perfect too!
Thanks. To me, tone needs the same attention as the notes. Especially with the tones of the ABB
Great tribute to a great guitarist

Yes I tuned up a half step. Thanks for watching!
The playing is always perfect but so is the tone!! Are still using the Origin?
I still do, however for this video I was using a fender combo amp (gtx50)
@@TheGuitarMan71 it sounds perfect for this! I tried a friend’s Origin at the weekend and was blown away with how good it sounded. 👍
