To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a list of 30 of the most iconic moments in PDC history.

Nice to have a reminder of what darts crowds should be. Loud when appropriate, but respectful of the players
I get what you mean, but you also have to realize that with crowds like back then that go fully silent and the commentator being quiet aswell, the sport would be nowhere near where it is now, Part getting 50k for winning the worlds compared to what they win now is the best example of how far the sport has come, while I agree that a lot of crowds are woeful with booing and whistling and picking sides, the noise during matches and chanting etc should be welcomed as long as it is respectful imo
My favourite bit of this…Sid’s little chuckle of incredulity that Phil had just hit that bullseye to win the match v James. Summed up the madness and genius all in one.
Double 12 for history, history ... HISTORY! What a legendary moment!
Phil Taylor will always hold the title for greatest 132 checkout of all time. Legendary.
MVG's premier league win against Taylor was also good, but not as difficult.

Funny to see the commentator say that going for T18-T18-D7 is an unusual way to go, while nowadays if someone doesn't go for the 18s on 122 they're mad

John Part is really carrying the PDC commentary at the moment, him and Mardle together are fantastic but everyone else is a bit forgettable.

I know that there will always be unpopular exclusions/inclusions, but I don't know how any list of supposedly the most iconic (i.e. memorable) PDC moments ever could forget Taylor/Painter in the 2004 world final. Certainly far more memorable than Taylor/Anderson. And the Sherrock stuff is getting really boring now, if you want to include one of her highlights then it should have been either the comeback against van den Bergh or the 170 to beat Clements. The Evetts match is being deliberately inflated in both quality and importance to push an agenda which ultimately treats Sherrock as a token instead of on her merits as a darts player, which is where the focus ought to be.
