      ZFG tune, Intercooler and one of these intakes. They'll run 11.8 consistently.

    I don't get why you even have to disconnect the crankcase hose at the engine side. Can you explain why?

      Some Explorers have a permanent connector on the intake tube side so it has to be removed to remove the factory intake. This one did not, but we still used the new included crankcase hose per aFe's instructions. Other Explorer's may have a sensor that was shown during the install and a permanent connector leading you to have to purchase a new hose from a dealer.

    Wish they weren’t oiled. I don’t run piled on anything due to it clogging up MAF sensors.

    I have a UPR dual valve catch can installed. Will this kit integrate with that? Thanks.

      We can't guarantee fitment as we haven't installed this kit with that catch can system. Based on their pictures it looks like some of hose routing is different so we would refer to UPR to see if they know anyone that's running these two together.

      This intake is not California approved. aFe has a drop in filter replacement that can provide more airflow.
