When I heard multi hit + freeze, I thought she was going to be some sort of super backliner chronos. But it seems like ponos really dislike good lugas
It is very interesting how it makes freeze only apply if enemies are not knock-backed by the attack.
Is it good for any unit? No, but the concept is still interesting.

I'm convinced by this point that luffylan was made good on accident, like they were trying to make a dumb gimmick critter unit, but some random intern accidentally set the damage value too high and created an actually good luga for once.
@@alexpineda5960nah. They thought that having single target and slowish attack frequency would balance it out, but they shifted the meta to fewer peons which made Luffy way more viable.
Yeah, only shishilan and lufalan are actually OP, and it baffles me how they even thought of Shishilan. Like the dude has triple dmg after getting just 1 dmg, and a guarantee survive and WAVE immune? What were they thinking lmao

I wonder why PONOS is suddenly so obsessed with units having near-instantaneous multi-attacks? cuz in this update, they released the new evangelion unit, and brideluga with this gimmick. at least the evangelion unit kind of makes it work, since his mini-surge is active across all 3 hits.
but still, players already heavy a distinct distaste for multi-hits, with it generally being regarding as bad, unless it carries cc like Chronos, allows for good piercing like Naala, or has more timing delays to account for enemy units getting knocked back, then rushing in like Kana.
but these 2 new units don't really have any of this. weird...

it's better because uh, well, because...ukh
Well, 1st, I don't see anything saying that slower attack rate is better. Balaluga as a CC unit is better because it has weaken as a secondary debuff that keeps enemies from pushing too much while Balaluga's attack is recharging.
2nd, slower attack rate (and longer freeze) is better, because it gives a big amount of time to deal a whole lot of damage and possibly kill an enemy in a single freeze cycle.
There was 1 more thing I was gonna say about something I noticed while using Chronos, but I noticed that the comment almost doubled in its length, and it would have very little relevancy in an actual battle..
