Thierry Henry. Perfect combination of Pace, Power and Precision.
But never scored in 5 finals for Arsenal (3x FA cup finals, 1x UEFA cup final and 1x UCL final).
@@mensudomerovic3773 So...that makes him a lesser player....? That's a pathetic way of looking at things. Thierry is a better striker. Drogba may have scored in Finals but that doesn't put him above Henry.
@@gibson587 Hence why Arsenal never managed to win a European trophy under Wenger.
@@gibson587 Okay but put Drogba in that arsenal team for the final and i would bet my life savings you when his hold up play and IQ was next to none
@@mensudomerovic3773 Wow.... that's so ignorant. 😂... Arsenal never won the Champions League because of many factors. You can't just blame one single player.
Thierry Henry has 175 premier league goals and 74 assist in 258 games.. That’s 249 goals and assist in 258 games, plus why does a number 9 hold the most assist in a season record ??? 🤣 It’s still not broken and the guy left the prem almost 13 years ago, the more people understand this, the better.. It’s not up for debate period
Yes 90% of fans (myself included) would say T.Henry is the best striker Premier League has seen but you're always going to have differences of opinion
KD DH Exactly. Henry is the greatest premier league player and it’s not close.
KD DH thankgod for u
LFC_YNWA I said premier league player. Meaning what you did in the premier league. Henry did more
Funny how he never won the champions league, with arsenal if he was that good.
Drogba definitely up there; his intelligents, movement, pace, power but also had great ball control and technique and never hid in big games. He didnt need a system to assist him like so many players for 30 tap ins a season with 90% possession, Drogba was the kind of player who could bully a whole defence by himself so even if Chelsea were down to 10 men against the best teams of that era against top defenders (not so many today) they were still in with a chance to win big games be that scoring a important goal or creating havoc and space for Lampard .
As an Arsenal fan Henry is my favourite but Drogba is definitely closer than people give him credit for.

Respect, Henry is defo the best
Didier Drogba all day long no question at all and trophies to back it up no question its not even an argument
Shearer or Henry... can't believe they never mentioned shearer.... shocking
Shearer won one trophy regardless of the amount of goals he scored
@Issac C your point actually proves how good he was ... more goals with poorer players supplying him. Anyone that knows anything about football picks shearer over Rooney lol more goals ? Nobody has more goals mate

I know Suarez wasnt there for long but what he did was unbelievable. Mesmerizing goals! But for me it's got to be Henry.
Suarez worked wonders in one of the worst Liverpool sides, it was amazing what he did.

Suarez most complete player after Henry. Just that he didnt stay as long as henry

Drogba’s highest scoring PL season was actually when he partnered with anelka, arguably played the best football of his career in the 2009/2010 season. He was also riddled with injuries and always seemed to bounce back and score when he was needed to. His record vs arsenal, his record in Finals and ofc that night in Munich proves how brilliant drogba really was
Ancelotti's tactics favored offense and led to most team goals scored in an EPL season at that time. If Drogba had taken penalty over Lampard, he would've scored close to 40.
Drogba finals stats:

Alan Shearer. Record 260 goals speaks for itself. Agüero is up there along with Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Cole and Fowler but Shearer all the way.
Exactly shearer wasn't in a great side most his career too
Glad u mentioned Fowler, haven't seen his name in 1 other comment, probably the best finisher the prem has ever had, absolutely lethal left foot
Lostella Exactly, he and Alan Shearer weren’t crowd pleasers with the fancy tricks and touches but they knew how to finish. I just wished that Fowler got a fair go with the England 🏴 team
Shearer's real record stands at 283.
He scored 23 goals in the final season of the old First Division, prior to the birth of the Premier League.
Ya'll really just gonna disrespect Rooney like this? 208 goals in the prem alone. If he kept his physicality well he would have surpassed Shearer long time ago.
Drogba spent Nine years with Chelsea including the 14/15 season when he came back. Thierry Henry spent nine years as well. Henry has 71 more goals and 20 more assists than Drogba. He was a better dribbler, better at free kicks, he doesn't need to hold the ball because he doesn't need anybody to get past defenders. In addition his goals are more memorable, his goal against Man United, his goal against Liverpool, against Tottenham, his goal against Charlton Athletic. I don't even have to explain them because everyone remembers them. Case Closed
dude no one was comparing the the two of them
12 trophies to Henry's how many? Stayed and won the European Cup for Chelsea, Henry had to run to Spain. Sure Henry filled the stat sheet, but for me, one striker to play in a finals for you, Drogba wins that one, all day every day. Henry had more tekkers sure, but he never possessed the same sheer force of will that Drogba did.

@@abhreebhu1 I get where you are coming from but see Henry v Real Madrid, Henry v Liverpool, Henry v Man United. Anyway i understand that this is subjective and Yes without a doubt Drogba has scored in many finals and Henry hasn't but i would rather have Henry

Emile Heskey was sensational when balls were whipped into the far post. The power on his shots was better than any man discussed in this video 😤
You serious?
Ultimately it’ll always be Henry, such a brilliant player, but there are other players up for debate.
- Shearer
- Rooney
- Drogba
- Aguero
- Van Persie
- Bergkamp
- Suarez
- Van Nistelrooy
And Fernando Torres who’s probably the closest thing to Henry, a beast at Liverpool
This is the list of strikers you most fancy yes? It can’t honestly be your list of the best strikers. It just can’t be.
Aguero vs Henry....
Aguero can score goals....
Henry can do everything....
End of discussion...in Henry's time defenders were defenders...they were gritty and tough
Nobody is close to Henry. He finished the 03/04 season with the most assists (a record that hasn't been reached to this day) and the most goals. He was insanely good and did it against the big teams as well.
I remember when Henry was at his peak 2002-2005 opposition fans giving him a standing ovation after he just annihilated their team. You don't see that these days. He was a neutrals favourite which says a hell of a lot about his qualities. Drogba was class but Henry was on another level for me.
Even up till the 2006 he was quality!
Henry was a better striker for the whole season but give me Drogba for the big ocassion what he did for us that champions league trophy we were basically playing 9-0-1 vs barca but somehow he was a threat when he touched the ball, Henry has never had a night like munich
I am an Arsenal fan. Thierry was the better player, but Drogba was big time and always turned up in the big games.
He has had plenty. The fact that he pretty much scored against Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea all the time was one thing but at the very least you have to remember the Inter away game that ended 5-1 and Henry got two goals and two assists. Plus Henry could score free kicks as well with ease
Drogba:10 finals 10 goals
You obviously did not see Henry at Milan or at the Bernabeu. Drogba is a fighter, Henry is absolute Class. Let's put it that way.
@@victorumobi865 he just means tht Drogba produced in way more big moments than henry thats all
Drogba in the big games was unplayable, He ru a better player overall but can be stopped playing against the best, no stopping Drogba at his best due to the power of the man, and he always saved his best for the big games
Henry was an athletic freak. If he had half his technical ability he'd still be one of the best ever. But he also had world class technique. He's the best by far imo. He could gallop through a defence with ease or just score a spectacularly innovative goal that would make your jaw hit the floor.
I understand why most would agree on Henry, Aguero, Ruud &/or Rooney. But no other number 9 has ever tormented a defence quite like Drogba, the man was an absolute nightmare to opponents. Extremely physical, Persistent & technical... he defined the term "A Defenders Nightmare" ..
Perfect example of a striker. Drogba.
Has to be Troy Deeney
It’s very likely many commenting are too young to remember watching Shearer or Henry week in, week out.
Yet I personally believe it’s Aguero, he’s the full package.
Vincent Ritchie Drogba good pace, great strength, he could pass and link up play, he could play by himself and bully the whole defence and he never shone away in big games. Most of Chelsea’s success came from him. Making Chelsea a big 6. People don’t realise how much he done for the club. Have you not watched the Champions League 2012?
Drogba was a big game players his record against the top 6 is insane, however sometimes a 1-0 win away at Stoke is just as important as the goal against Utd when you’re in a title race. Drogba arguably only did it against the big teams and not enough to the little teams. He only scored more than 13 goals in a season twice and never hit 30 in a season
Powerful striker - Drogba
Most clinical finisher - Van Nistelrooy
Pacey striker - Henry
Old school #9 - Shearer
Best second striker #10 - Bergkamp
henry.. aguero.. 🙌
Thierry Henry. No debate. Best player in the world in his prime greatest player to ever grace the prem.
Henry, Drogba, Aguero etc all amazing players in amazing teams. Alan Shearer, the all time PL leading goal scorer, fastest player to reach 100 goals, had horrific injury problems and played in some piss poor NUFC sides but not one mention of his name.
This is hard as hell. There’s plenty of them, Henry, Drogba, Rooney, Suarez, Shearer, Van Persie, Aguero etc. It’s really hard to choose one.
Best striker in premire league history in future discussion, this guys will say
1. Benteke
2. Carroll
3. Morata
4. Lukaku
Now i can understand Alan shearer is the top scorer of English cricket league
Agreed man 👌although lord bendtner should be there
If you wanted Proper in the Box goal machines Shearer and Andy Cole where your guys? then you had your all round striker Henry. But strikers like Andy Cole and Shearer where the meaning off striker in my football family. So Alan Shearer and Cole are the best in my opinion.
Here's the thing people don't understand, as a player, in terms of ability, Henry was better and probably the best we've ever seen in the league. But as a team mate, Drogba was better, his hold up play was much better than Henry's and he had way more defensive duties. Drogbas job at Chelsea wasn't just to score goals as shocking and impossible as that can be to understand for some people, he was there to ensure goals were scored, whether by himself or by ensuring the people around him could score, Chelsea always played as a team where anyone could score, not just the front 3.
You are so right
Drogba was a great big game player but to be fair, he had nine seasons at Chelsea, during which he only scored 20+ goals in two of them. By contrast, there were four seasons when he scored fewer than 10 goals -- and that wasn't particularly down to lack of playing time.
Henry is the best striker by far, watching him play was something else. Aguero is also good striker (in the sense that he can finish) but you don’t get that same feeling watching Henry play. I remember one time, Henry juggling the ball without touching the floor past like 3/4 players, something you would never see Aguero do. The little things Henry used to do in matches before he scored a goal would have you off your seat and go crazy
My top 5 -
1)Henry
2)Shearer
3)Aguero
4)Rooney
5)Suarez / Van Nistelrooy
Nearly put Kane there but not yet maybe 2 more seasons and he will be there
Lol.. Nice joke
Surely Roy Keane & Dennis Irwin should be at the top of the honours list for overseas players or at least ahead of Drogba who they've got 2nd. Also lets face it if you're adding the LeagueCup you should also be adding Shields. In some ways you prefer to win the shield than the LeagueCup if you look at the team's managers put out for both competitions and you're guaranteed to play a team who were quite successful the season earlier in the Shield.
Everyone is talking about Henry having the better skill, pace, precision and all..
Let me remind you guys that Henry came to PL when he was 22.. Aguero was 23.. Shearer played his entire career in England.. Whereas, King Didier was unknown till the age of 26.. He came to a big club so late in his career.. Won matches single-handed till the age of 34.. Scored in every single Final he played for Chelsea except for that final in Rome (Excluding the 2015 League Cup Final where he played for a couple mins).. Proved to be Arsenal's biggest nightmare.. All this makes him the best striker in PL era.
Shearer. He had horrible injury problems and lost 3 years of playing time and is still well ahead of everyone else.
William Robinson Yeah he had more time than everyone else too 😂
Henry was better
I can't believe they don't mention him, considering he didn't play with the same quality like other greats.
He won only one trophey😂😂
Suarez deserves a mention
people are so quick to forget Van Nistelrooy he and Henry were the best in the game at that time I'd say Henry 1 and Ruud a close second.....end of story!!!!!
So was Drogba
Yesss 2002/2003 season was immense
Don't honestly know who I'd pick as the best because there's been so many great strikers but it's gotta be between Shearer, Henry and Aguero
The one i always feared playing against Utd was Henry.
Agueroooooooooooooooooooo!!
INB4 Suraj says Hazard
😂😂
How good Henry was he didn't win Champions League final against Barcelona but Drogba won the Champions League final against Bayern Munich in Munich! Debate over Drogba is the greatest striker in Premier League!
Henry will always be considered the best because of his legacy with the invisibles and his goals and assists. Drogba was the best big game player. Shearer was an unbelievable goal scorer. Aguero has done it for 10 years consistently. But for me there is one player that is in a different class to everyone, Luis Suarez. He won’t get the credit he deserves because he was hated, he played for a pretty poor Liverpool team and the fact that he played for Liverpool. But he is the only premier league player I’ve ever watched and thought, you are absolutely unplayable. He had everything the other greatest strikers had. He scored goals and assisted like Henry, he turned up in big games like Drogba, he was an unbelievable goal scorer like Shearer, if he played every game in the 13/14 season he would’ve absolutely destroyed the goal scoring record by at least 6 goals and he had consistently like Aguero doing it week in week out. If you asked a defender to create their worst nightmare in a player, you’d get Luis Suarez. For me, the 3rd or 2nd best player I’ve ever watched. I’d only put Messi comfortably ahead of him.
Drogba 💕🔵
Agüero/Henry/Rooney/Shearer
Take your pick
Henry
Agüero
Drogba
Rooney wtf? He isn’t even better than rvp and Suarez
That header in the CL final by drogba was ridiculous
For me David Hirst in his prime was leaps ahead of other English strikers. When you watch old clips at his peak. Unfortunately after a horror tackle by Steve Bould that broke his ankle he suffered with many injuries throughout his career. But what a player he could have been for England. Sods law. Hirst Gascoigne together Gazza who suffered similar problems been an exited prospect.. Waddle was excluded from England the squad by Graham Taylor. Taylor just had a lot of bad luck. But same time I don't know why he was picking players from Nottingham Forrest when they got relegated...
Because he wasn't here for that long you can't put him up there but Luis Suarez was in my opinion the greatest goal scorer ever in the prem especially for that 2013/14 season. I'm not saying he's the best prem striker ever so don't get to angry. What I'm saying is that at his prime he was the best I've ever seen in the prem
How can he be the greatest goalscorer when he only had one outstanding season that is equaled by another and surpassed by a third ?
Simon Jørgensen played just 33 games and got 12 assists too, only behind Gerrard
Harry Kane will be if he stays with spurs or stays in the prem, now though it’s either Rooney, shearer or Aguero
Imagine how ridiculous Kane would be if he played 6-7 fulls seasons at Man City with Guardiola as the manager.
Kane has already surpassed Agüero.
LFC_YNWA I don't think he cares as long as his striker works hard and knows how to press. Kane would average more than 30 goals a season over a period of 6-7 seasons if he played for Man City under Guardiola.
@@bri1085 don't be stupid
It's Henry or Shearer. In a few years Aguero maybe but the Premier League was far more competitive top to bottom in Henrys time and Shearer was not in a title contending side banging goals in for fun. Aguero gets a lot of freebies with the state of the league and how much better his team is right now but he could still do it even if it was which is why you have to mention him. I'm not saying diving or bad decisions didn't exist in the 90's / early mid 2000s either but the game in the Premier League was a lot more intense too. Nowadays the ref blows for fouls for wind pushing you over back then players like Roy Keane were biting your ankles doing everything they could to disrupt your game in a far more physical way that made it more difficult than today.
United Fan - Has to be henry. Was a joy to watch
Shearer
As much as I regard Drogba as one of the best modern-day strikers, let alone one of the best PL strikers of all time, I cannot put him above Henry. Henry, in his prime could do anything you expect a footballer to do.
He is absolutely clinical in front of the goal with his trademark far-post finesse shot. His speed, pace and power when he comes at you with of without the ball. What he did in the 03-04 season; score 23 league goals and had 20 assists is the prime example why he is always going to be the best PL strikers of all time. Sure Drogba scores in big games, cup finals and what not. But how many games did Henry single-handedly won for Arsenal? Against Chelsea in 04, Liverpool in 03, Inter in 03, Real Madrid in 06, Bayern in 03 and against Utd countless of times. Those are high-calibre oppositions and he was always the biggest threat Arsenal ever pose in their prime.
Doesn’t matter how long they’ve played in the league. The top 5 best goal scorers in order in Premier League history are Shearer Henry Aguero Kane and RVN. The only strikers to score more than 20 goals in 3+ seasons in a 38 game season.
King Drogba11 one of the Best Strikers to play the game and an absolute joy to watch over his career, all time best Premier League Strikers Drogba and Henry for me what a Quality partnership that would of been, and personally I would also include D.Costa,Shearer,Aguero,Zola and Bergkamp Legends of the Game💙👑💪⚽⚽👏
So you seriously think Aguero and the others you mentioned belong in the same line?
Aguero has the numbers but Thiery Henry was the most graceful player ever. Pace, Power and Precision, wasn't aggressive. Also, Aguero is an 'in the box' striker. If Suarez had stayed at Liverpool, would Aguero really be that much better than him? Let's not forget the Henry goal against R.Marid. Aguero could never do that.
Fruit Farm Factory Aguero scored something similar to that against Bayern Munich when he scored a hatrick to put them through the group stage in 14-15. Also scored a worldie goal against watford in a 6-0 win last season but okay

Not comparing Watford to Real Madrid, I'm simply stating that Aguero is on par if not slightly better than Suarez on the whole bar the season Suarez should have won the Ballon D'or. Aguero scored goals against Barcelona and Real Madrid when he played for Atletico and has done in the champions league. Anyways both Aguero and Suarez have been in the top 5 strikers in the world for the past 5/6 years, and for me I feel like people dwell on past players too much. 35 games, 31 goals 17 assists.
Across 2 seasons he got 54 goals and 28 assists in 68 games. Contributing to over a goal every game, a goal or an assist every 74 minutes.
Bearing in mind he played for an awful liverpool team and basically dragged them to within touching distance of the title in 13/14. If liverpool won the league that year he would undoubtedly be the best premier league player ever. I still think he is
His stats are brilliant but he didn't stay for a long time in EPL for him to be regarded as the best ever striker in the league.
But if you talk about Europe as a whole, he's definitely up there.
arguably Aguero is the best striker there's ever been, obviously after Thierry Henry
I probably could agree with that.
Lol
Shearer and Henry - both in their prime - what a partnership that would a been
Sergio.!!!
Aguero
Aguero is not even top 5
@@mediacenterman8583 do you even watch football?!?!

Suarez. Was unplayable
unplayable at biting people
Suarez gets forgotten about because Liverpool never achieved anything. He’s up there though
xCHRIS Suarez had the best season ever for a striker, but he wasn’t in England long enough.
xCHRIS He should of been unplayable after taking a chunk out that guy shoulder.
For one season, definitely unplayable but didn't play in the league long enough to be a candidate for the accolade.
Definitely one of the best strikers currently though.
Shearer, Henry, and Aguero in any order for numbers, skills, and strike rate plus Big game player!
Don is best upcoming pundit. Talks sense n logic & gives technical analysis always
Thierry Henry easily. He's bigger than the whole of chelsea
Not really mate
Mohammad Rasoul Fard-Habibi mans had to move to Barca to win the ucl, while drogba stuck with Chelsea and literally won them the ucl. Henry basically rage quit on a sorry ass poorly managed organisation called arsenal. Btw how many times have Arsenal won the ucl? Lmao
Mohammad Rasoul Fard-Habibi Only team in London with a European cup!🔵🔵🤷🏻♂️😂
Oi mate do your research, how many champions leagues did arsenal win with Henry?
Killer Instinx 0 same as aguero, can’t be number 1 if you don’t win the big trophies
1. Henry
2. Aguero
Sheare
Henry had 7 1/2 seasons at arsenal and is still 24 goals ahead of aguero who’s now in his 10th season
Henry isn't a striker. It's Shearer/Van Nistelrooy/Drogba
