Thanks for showing us your new gear. I've just got back from camping on a pebble beach , a folding mat did the job. I don't pack ultralight but try to keep the weight down as much as possible.

@@offcamping it really is nice. I caught mackerel and cooked it for breakfast, also had smores over an open fire for the kids.
liking the new backpack, will be interesting to see how it holds up after a few trips out.

2 pretty good bits of kit the tent and bag, I also have a 3ful pack, but I’ve the lanshan 2 pro, absolute palace just for my. Love my pack and tent, can’t see me upgrading unless any bad damage. Well done with the vid, have a look on CZcams for tent mod ideas 👍

I have a great lightweight tent and all my pack and gear are just under 5 kilo. I can tell you that is the way to go out here in Australia 👍. Great video's mate I love them.
On the 5 kilos that's impressive. I've got work to do then
@@offcamping that's without about 2 litres of water. But yes I really got it down like you did. Tent, full sleeping bag and two mats and cooker with small gas cannister.head lamp so on. Everything I needed.

I would love to see you do a golf course stealth camp. Of course you would require a solution for incoming golf balls but it would certainly be a good watch and also there are so so many courses around the UK with many interesting spots to stealth🤔😁

I did get a couple of drops but I've sealed it now
I’m 6ft 2 and have this tent. It’s waterproof, but the condensation and the fact I kept touching the inner tent wall meant that I get soaked even on a dry night and have upgraded to the 2 person version. That works fine.

For comfortable camping, I have now got my own pack down to 12kg. If I go any lighter, I am not so comfortable.
Just try and go a bit more lightweight cos carrying all the food gets heavy
@@offcamping I went on a 3 day trip around Lynn Brianne over the Jubilee weekend and managed to get my pack to 12kg including food. I probably hiked about 15 miles over the 3 days.
U lose stuff like me, its always infron of me lol, fell asleep last night never got to watch it in the end. 😁

Hi Billy another great video. I have seen a lot of people talking about seam sealing their tents and you mentioned you will do it. May I ask what is seem sealing? And why don't the manufacturers do it? Could you do a video when you seal your tent? Thanks.

I noticed Wildbeare was using the same tent recently in Wales and it chuffed it down there too. She had seam sealed it, but admitted she hadn't done it right and it did leak. Interestingly on the website the description implies it is already seam sealed and makes no mention of needing to do it separately.
The regular one is sealed, the pro version requires sealing

A lightweight tripod stool improves the quality of life no end. Especially when you're cooking.
