This is going in the trash, I've found something better! Let's Roll Motorcycle Lift and Dolly

- Lifting my Harley-Davidson motorcycles off of the ground used to be terrifying! Washing the bike while it was on the lift, and watching the bike rock back in forth always made me feel like it was going to fall off the lift. Diy yourself oil changes, trying to remove the full dirty oil pan that was wedged in between my old lift always ended up with a mess. Finally, there is a solution.

Great review as always. Thanks for the info. Think I would buy a table lift before I spent $700 on a jack.
There is a dolly and a lift that you purchase for $629. Not just a scissor lift.
@@letsrollstore $629 for a two piece set. Im trying to take up less garage space not more. Besides the Lets Roll jack doesnt raise that high off the ground.
I guess if you have a Harley, you have a lot of m money for a dolly/lift combo kit. I need something more multi functional and less expensive.
Cool looking lift but I have to say I own a hydraulic moto jack similar to the one you showed first. I attach 2 ratchet straps and the bike never moves including while removing wheels etc. I can see the let's roll dolly being great for winter storage. Cheers.
That lift and dolly are great! Great presentation too!
Thanks, Tall!
Wow. Great presentation my friend. Grateful for some of you who ride so much, you find all the tricks of the Trade. I'm still at the sportster level, only bikes I've ever had, you could prolly lift my bike with one hand in the back LOL, your a beast DUDE! Anyways, I did my own back thread on a spark plug port on a 20 sporty iron 1200, actually impressed myself with the fix, but it's honestly from watching all of you and learn from.
The perfect solution! Been looking for a storage solution for our 2 bikes + 2 cars in my garage, If I could stand them more upright and roll them safely, game changer! Love this lift, thanks for sharing! (Side note) those crappy lifts are so loud when just rolling them around, never liked them.
Looks like a nice product. Thanks for the insight. Happy cleaning!
$60 compared to $600 though.. let's not ignore than entirely.
That’s definitely something that you get what you pay for
A premium product will come with a premium price. This seems like such a better product.
Did you find a good touring seat for a tall man. I'm 6'4" and I'm also looking for a tall man touring seat. Thanks Tall Man!! Ride Safe !!!
@@aubreydavis2739 In life, I have found that to be a truism.
But I have to OG Jack!
True, but think about the expense if your motorcycle falls off a cheap jack.
I looked hard at this dolly system. I saw someone comment in a video about this dolly that they liked the iron horse Dolly lift better. I looked at it pretty hard. There's not a lot of videos or reviews on it. It's a shame, because I took the chance and went with it because I loved the all-in-one design. The dolly and lift are one unit. The company even offers a veteran discount. I cannot comment on how well the Let's Roll Dolly system works. I can say that I absolutely love my iron horse Dolly lift. It goes under the bike very easily. I got the hand crank but you can spend a small amount extra to get it with a drill driver attachment. Honestly, the hand crank works perfectly fine and isn't very hard to crank and doesn't take very long to do its job. The bike is super stable when on the lift. So much so that I could easily climb up on it and sit on it while it's lifted up off the ground. The wheels are of good and strong quality. They roll in all directions. One wheel has the ability to be locked in two different positions to make pushing/steering easier. I have been using it primarily to lift my bike and push it into a spot in the garage so that I can still park my car. It works as well as he advertises in his videos. If you're in the market for a dolly lift for your bike, I highly recommend checking this one out. It is pricey just like the let's roll dolly, but it is high quality and I believe it's worth every penny. It has made parking my bike in the garage incredibly easier than it was.
I have a Harbor freight style lift and I don't get any wobble because I use a strap over the motor onto the lift and they both become one. Also screw down the levelers.
That’s outstanding, thanks Tall!
Absolutely love the wheels on your bike, beautiful
Tahnks for the Video Tall. Really like that Road King, looking sweet.
Got one three years ago, best thing I've found for cleaning and storing
Impressive and peace of mind. Really it’s a mobile work station. Definitely worth getting one if you’re going to own a large bike like that.
thanks for the review buddy that thing is awesome
$600.00 is a lot of money for a lift. Part of the perks of having them as a sponsor and getting one for free I suppose.
You could prob build it yourself for roughly $100 if you have a welder.
But also cheaper than dropping the bike
Hey Tall. I have the same jack from Harbor Freight. The way to stabilize it is to take it up and lower it to the locking point. This will eliminate that wobble. I wash mine all the way up on the last safety catch and its rock solid.
my craftsman jack is the same way. I was going to comment but you beat me to it
it also helps to use ratchet straps in the 4 anchor points on the harbor freight jack
That’s why the whole comparison is biased from the start.
Stuck home with COVID and discovered your channel/been binge watching. Very much enjoying
I have on too and love it. Just saw a hack for it where you put the wheels that rotate kitty corner you’re able to move the bike around even better.
While it is much more stable than my almost 20 year old Harbor Freight, it is also 4 1/2 times the price at current values. I paid less than $100 back then. I have never had an issue moving my Road King anywhere on the lift with and without settle bags, in the garage, on rough black top, and even in my enclosed trailer. Used it to remove wheels to install new tires. Sitting on the lock helps stabilize it better. If you have the bucks, thats a nice product. But if your like me, nothing wrong with the HF lift or the clones.
yea, agree plus in the video he has the lift too far toward the rear of the bike. If he moved it up more over the engine, it wouldn't rock. I have a HF pittsburgh lift that I paid $125 for and while it's not the best it's far less expensive than the price tag of this over priced scissor jack and metal welded together.
Nice product. Especially for tight quarters and old backs.
Nice, look like it’s a keeper !!
Cal Products was the original lift for Harley's, every one made cheaper versions, It lifted it much higher and they offered a dolly that was also much higher and very strong. The issue I have with the lift your reviewing is it uses a screw jack mechanism. Just like a service jack it uses a radial bearing and threaded rod. Both will out quickly. So in time you will find out.
Just a suggestion, when its on the dolly run some tie downs from handlebars to outside corners of dolly, keep it from getting falling while working on bike
My dream bike 🏍 😍, Stay safe brother, God bless!
Thanks brother man always in detail ride safe.🍻
Great video I learn so much from you thank you tall you are the man! Watching from California!!
Nice review I like the Lets Roll dolly but I prefer the J&S Dolly because its a one step process and can be lifted at various heights to make working on it easy at any level. The J&S is super sturdy.
I'll take the one your tossing 🤣
Got mine several months ago love it easy to use and store
Let's Roll. ! . Great job
I have a lift like the first one he used. I run a rachet strap from of the lift to the other side between the engine and transmission and snuged it down. It held a 94 Harley Davidson road king with no problem.
Nice lift, definitely better than the traditional small lift, but unless you do a lot of your own maintenance the $650 price tag is really a lot for us poor folks.
I've had one of the usual lifts decompress over night. I had used a 4" block of wood under the rear tyre to stabilise the front end. In the morning, I found my 2010 Triumph R3 lying fully on its side, wheels up in the air ! When the bike decompressed the block of wood I had mistakenly left under the rear tyre, pushed the bike over. 🙁🇦🇺. Lesson learnt the hard way
I won't trust hydraulics any more, I sit a block of wood under the jack so it can't come down
The dog looks good and healthy!
thanks for the video. i am looking for a dolly/lift for my bike. keep up the great work
I have the lift that was alleged to be “unstable” I have changed finders, baggers and taken off multiple items and never had those issues. The swaying depends on what side you put it on -in my opinion . I will get a full lift for $ 700.00 score I buy a jack -up
Hey man I haven’t seen much from you on UTube lately glad to see you back
Because of you I spent $600 on a Le Pera seat, now I will spent another $600 on a lift 😂
Thats a good life and dolly. I use the J&S lift and is much more stable when properly applied. Will need to upgrade to the new 12K bottle jack though. The older one was a bust
For us old-timers I'm not getting down on the ground on my knees to do this. But I do really like it.
Wow. Sold! Better sell my 3 other wobbly crappy lifts b4 everyone sees this vid… Thanks Tall!
I have that same stand from Harbor Freight. While I have those same stability issues with it, the eyelets in it were designed to use with straps to secure it to the bike to lessen the instability. It wasn't designed to use for "cleaning" so to speak, more for taking off the tires for changing and such.
I’m getting one of those thanks so much. I’m 6’7 and follow you for all advice
Love the stability of that lift for sure. And made in the USA
Being able to spin it 180° with ease is a win 👍🇦🇺
Great product review . I to own the first lift . And i agree it's not the greatest . I went out and bought 4 small jacks and 2 good straps to overcome the flopping back and forth .But after that I will not be able to roll the bike around . The only thing that I don't like about the (Let'sRoll life) is that you almost have to get down on your knees to crank it up .With the China one you can hold the bike and crank up with your foot .
Yeah I'll hide all the same problems as you when I was cleaning my bike with the same Lyft I do appreciate the review.
Nice lift. Really beats the inexpensive one I have from HF.
I was looking for a stable lift for my new 2023 Road Glide. Just put in my order with Let’s Roll. Thanks for the video.
Thanks, that’s a great piece of equipment
Nice bikes👍. Time to go for a ride!!!
Yo Tall,
Awesome presentation! Awesome product! And as usual, you did an awesome job!
You should get a commission because you sold me. I’m buying one.
What an incredible jack and dolly I gotta get me one. Pau; Tall, thank you for this Video!! I've been watching you for weeks now, yes subscribed and your channel is Fantastic brother.
Thanks Tall for the info keep the content coming
The harbor freight jack goes higher and is much cheaper....and it is hydraulic. 10 bucks for some straps to make it more secure. I would give great review if I got the product for free too though.
I’ll be building one real soon got the wheels from Jeff just today the iron is at work great job but $600 bucks for this dolly is a bit much
great product.... give us a big discount code... LOL... 625 for the package is not cheap, but with that kind of stability, I don't know of anything else that is as secure. Thanks for sharing
Wow that’s a great tool but for $630 NO
Well said, good demonstration.
$650 is a lot but it doesn’t seem like a bad move at all if you like or want to start investing into yourself and love USA and quality
Hey man, and if that was a couple hundred bucks, I'd be all over it. Oh BTW, your bike looks great!! Have a great Summer!!!
Nice job Tall!!
This would be great for storing my bike in the winter!
Nice Bikes. Good Presentation.
I have a Scissor lift with a ratchet from EBay I use for raising the front of ground and Harbor Freight pump Jack to raise my new Goldwing TOUR. Works like magic. The best 110.00 ever paid. I rest it on with bracket, top notches and done. No leaks, no weight problem. Very cheap. Done deal
That's a needed tool bro great video 🤟💫🚀🚀👊🔥🤘love from Miami FL USA 🇺🇸👌
The best part is the available open space under the bike. No jack blocking access. If I were actually working on the bike I would still have ratchet straps for safety, however there doesn't appear to be any hooks on the dolly for that purpose. Pretty darn expensive, too!
You ain't lieing Big Dawg. I get scared every time I wash my White Sand Pearl Street Glide using that Jack.
My harbor freight jack is unstable as well, even when the bike is strapped. I'll add this to my Wishlist. Didn't see my bike on there so I emailed them for compatibility. 2018 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec. I do my own tire changed after my local shop charged $221 for labor alone for one wheel.
I think you sold me with the advantages of changing the fluids with that lift. Traveling Tall, will I see you at the New Jersey Motorports Complex for the King of The Baggers Race? I rode the Harley to Brainerd, MN and it was a blast!!! Go Travis Wyman #10
I hear you but ain’t nothing wrong with the other lift. Just make sure it’s set on one of the stops. I leave mine up on the stand for days at a time. I had a stretched bag street glide with a 30” wheel up on one of those Harbor Freight lifts all winter.
this is one great lift....I've gotta get one so I can 86 my old, unstable lift!
Dang. That price is half the cost of a full lift table. Lift table or little jack with wheels hmmmm. Lift table!!!
Awesome lift and dolly, works great, definitely make cleaning your bike much easier and safer. Probably close to the 1,100 lbs. limit when you sat on the bike🤔 Great video, Thanks😎
Nice
1100 pounds for the lift, the dolly can hold 1200 pounds rated.
Looks great, and you can work on the bike too!👍
Great presentation
That package plus the adapter for my Indian puts me at $700. I have the new Harbor Freight 1500 lb lift plus an adapter for my Springfield for $300. The lift is very stable with safety latches built in. If I'm feeling insecure I use a couple of tiedowns, but it's not really necessary. While it's not a dolly, I could easily convert it to casters if I wanted. This Let's Roll looks good, but man, some of these prices seems just a bit out of touch.
Excellent.
Gotta get one. 👍
Commenting for the algorithm. Love the content!
And then… Tall sold out the Lets Roll lifts
I am in the market for searching a storage dolly on my HD Fatboy. This will work for me especially because my garage is limited in space. With this low profile dolly I can maneuver my Fatboy perfectly into exact spot. Not only for storage, but perfect to wash my Fatboy at ease. I know this dolly is not for everyone, but it's a win win situation for me.
Have a lift just like the first and the other day my 7 yr old son accidentally bumped it and bike fell off thank god it went the other direction.I was freaking out looking at the bottom of my motorcycle but luckily it didn’t dent or scratch and he was not hurt.
Beautiful bikes!
great video Tall and imma have to have one of those for my Ultra Limited ....WOW thats nice ....wht will i do with my other two floor jack models ? LOL....thanks again
Jack stands, if you can't afford the good one. I love the new lifters that lift from the frame on sportbikes....but I'm still on paddock stands.
Looks like a good product
I have the same lift you showed 1st I just use ratchet straps to the hoist & it stableizes the bike.
Great video. I need one of those
That's so cool, I wish they made one for my 95 flhtcu with sidecar. Lol, can't find any lift for it.
Thinking you should use hold down for the first lift. Use an oil vacuum. Save money for bike accessories.
That is impressive.
Great video! Nice lift. You probably exceeded the #1100 weight capacity when you got on the bike. You might not want to do that again.
I have no reason or need to spin my bike 180°. As for the ATV lift that most of us use, I put jack stands under the saddle bag crash bars and lower to put some weight on them. The bike is then stable enough to sit on and shake vigorously.
Also, I change the crank case and transmission oil on the Jiffy stand so the ATV lift is not used.
Dang. I spent like 80$ on a bike lift, its simple and pretty heavy duty. My Suzi C90 weighs close to 850lbs and that lift raises it easy and is remarkably sturdy, have had it up and replaced both tires without as much a wiggle or shimmy without even putting a strap on it😊. Guess I picked a good one
I have a J&S jack which was proven to be one of the best out there!! Unfortunately I also just discovered they are out of business…
Hi my brother, I really really appreciate your great video, I just bought an Steeet glide special 2017 with 3,000 miles I really loved and it is my very first bike, I’ll like if you can help me with your experience to do some upgrades please let me know
Ty
bruh I have that same $150.00 dollar harbor freight lift also. I also have that stool lol.
that let's roll set up you got there is $700.+ it better be night and day 😁
I want one for sure
Hello, great video. Looks great and useful. I would like to ask what seat you are rocking. I have a 2002 RG Special and I am 6'2. I am looking for an extended seat and was wondering what yours is? Thanks Manny
That is really cool
