I don’t know about the other two (please enlighten me if you do), but the Let's Roll is made right here in the USA. I want to support American workers and American companies that don’t choose profit over all. Let's Roll is an excellent product, and buying one is good for you and for our country.

Robert, I’m so happy that you covered the very bad customer service at J&S. I tried to contact them several times for more information on their jack. I couldn’t get through on the phone, they don’t return calls or emails. My dad always said, never beg a company to spend your money on them. Because if it’s hard to spend your money with them, after the purchase, what do you get, nothing! J&S got the big head, and I think they are over rated due to their very poor customer service. After hearing what you had to say, and my own experience with them. I hate to say it Robert, I wouldn’t buy a jack from J&S with your money! Take care and keep doing what you are doing brother, I love it!

Being able to clean the tires and wheels is a plus. I did not know about the other 2 you showed. I am glad I found this video. Bottom line, I am ordering the Let's Roll this week. I have the Let's Roll lift and dolly and absolutely love it! You are right about the customer service at J & S Jacks. I had to call/email them several times just to get someone on the phone so I could order it with the veterans discount. That was enough for me to abandon buying it as I am big on customer service also. If I can't get them on the phone to purchase it, I can imagine what customer service would be like if I were to order it. I am considering purchasing the OTC jack also.

Recently purchased a Let’s Roll jack. Price gave me pause but I bit the bullet and glad that I did. Cleaning bike is much easier, checking & changing oil easier, even checking pressure in tires is a snap. Of course I get grease all over me 😂 but I’ll live and do recommend purchasing the Let’s Roll jack.

I have the Craftsman motorcycle jack which is very similar to the OTC and love it but about 20 years ago I bought a Torrin jack at Sam's club which was an unstable POS and didn't take much to make it fall on to the back tire once lifted but the Craftsman for under a $100 bucks at the time worked and still works great I have no problem lifting my dresser or my son's sportster i did two sets of tires and neck bearings on it without a hitch I look at the J&S jacks back when they were about $389 or so now they are double and I see by some of the comments their customer service hasn't changed over the years but the price has lol

Received my Let’s Roll lift two weeks ago for my 2022 Harley-Davidson Street Bob and I absolutely love it. Once you know where to place the lift and mark the place if need be the process is very quick. good honest comparison, OTC is a brand I've known from the automotive world for a longtime and trust. I agree that little handle mount they came up with is a weak link but I only use it to move the jack when the bike isn't on it, if I need to move the bike with it I strap it and just push on the bike itself and it rolls fine. The steel wheels are a big plus when you store your bike for a couple months during the winter, the softer plastic wheels will flat spot and those spots will catch when trying to roll later.

Bandit did a video on this jack. When he released it the lever on the side jumped the stop indent. I noticed he didn't have the bar back. He had it forward but when he brought it down fully he pushed the bar back. I think by not pulling the bar back n n hitting the pedal to briit down the jack jumped the detent but didn't drop the bike down. It was still safe.

Yes, Let's Roll will get back to the customer real fast. After describing my bike and clearance issues, Michael over there told me that there's not enough clearance to get the jack under the bike. Now, he didn't suggest that it might work if leaned off the kickstand and held it upright while you slide the jack under with your foot or have someone else do it and I appreciate that as they recognize a product should work out of the box as advertised. It may but that's for the consumer to decide.

I have the OTC. Best bang for the buck. You have to clean and lubricate the wheels and casters in order to put less stress on the handle & hardware if you want to push around a 900 pound bike.

I have a J&S jack with handle and drain pan option purchased 4 years ago. I roll one of my two bikes onto driveway then jack the bike up to easily wash, including tires. I always release pressure onto safeties even if only to wash the bike. I could leave it that way all winter if needed. The mistake a lot of people make is leaving pressure on the bottle then complain their jack fails! Duh! That being said, my only con for J&S is crouching down for the pressure wheel which also bothers me about the LET, S ROLL. It kind of defeats the purpose of a jack having to get down on the floor to use. Also, J&S has raised their prices big time and customer service could be better.

You're spot on with the Let's Roll. The dolly is great for storage or moving easily in a small space. The scissor jack lift is passable but not as nice as a hydraulic that does more of the work for you. I lift mine with a cordless Dewalt 20v XR and it works great, almost too well if you're not careful. The drill has multiple torque settings. The first time I tried it I had the torque set too high and it about ripped my hand off. I have some arthritis in my hands. After adjusting the settings, I have it working well. It can lift a street glide easily and quickly. I pulse it for control. I could maybe reduce the torque a little more for a smoother lift. You do have to squat down or get on your knees to operate the scissor jack. NOTE: instructions say not to use an impact wrench on the lift.

I’ve had my OTC Stinger for over 5 yrs and I’ve never had it fail. I’m a former auto collision repair tech, now retired. I used OTC hydraulic pumps on many different frame machines and as with anything over time they would start to fail. What I liked about OTC is they always had the parts to repair them.
This was the main reason I bought the lift. Yes it’s a bit long, and yes if there is anything bigger than a Sportster on it will not roll. But it is well made and not overly expensive. It lifts my Heritage Softail without issue. Enough said.

Great review Robert. I was very interested in your review of the OTC jack. Other reviews I've heard (a couple years ago of the OTC) indicate a very sensitive lowering lever that drops the bike to fast. Maybe OTC has rectified that issue.

I have a J&S jack and had problems right out of the box with the pump not letting the jack down. Customer service was nil (they are out of business now). Once I adjusted the pressure relief valve, it worked fine after six years. That was on my Indian Springfield.
Looking at the" Let's Roll," I see a problem. Instead of two jack points on a bike, you need four: two to raise with the scissor jack and two to rest on the dolly. The Indian needs adapters to prevent crushing the fine oil lines in the way.
On my Triumph Speed Twin, I can barely find two places that won't crush something. The engine hangs below the frame and is not an approved jack point per the owner's manual, so this jack overcomplicates jacking for me.
Based on what's available now, I'd lean towards the OTC that I can block up once to fit my bike. But even that is too much of a pain for me with my Triumph, which I now put on front and rear paddock stands.
The world needs the Holy Grail of bike jacks, an adjustable jack with arms that can accommodate various bikes, or bike manufacturers would have to collaborate on common lift points, but that's just wishful thinking.

    Thanks Robert. I just subscribed.
I was planning on getting the J&S for $1,200 after your review a while back but I read so much about their terrible customer service that I bought the aluminum Harbor Freight one for $250 instead.
Well, I guess you get what you pay for. The HF one does not feel very stable to me so I only lift one wheel at a time on my 2020 Road Glide Limited - just to clean them.
I did lift it Bout a foot a few times. Once, I accidentally turned the handle a hair too far to lower it. It’s so sensitive. The bike dropped like a rock until the safety latch clicked into the next stop. Saved my 900 lb. bike from falling over but the latch bent and cannot be replaced. I was able to straighten it but don’t have much faith in it anymore.
The Let’s Roll website says it’s not compatible with my other bike - a 2015 Goldwing.
I guess I’ll stick with what I’ve got for now but I truly appreciate your review. If I do make a change, it’ll be to the Let’s Roll combo for the Harley.

Sorry to hear direction of J&S. I’ve had mine for the better part of 15 years. One bottle failure many years ago. Owner’s son answered the phone on second ring, and I had replacement within a week; it’s made in China. Can’t refute anything you said about it. Very solid platform, but herky jerky lowering, as with most bottle jacks is not fun.
Never rely on bottle jack to hold bike up. Release pressure, and let those hefty latches bear the load. Not sure if any bottle jack will fit. Might have to drill base plate for bolt holes to align. Good honest review. Thanks👍

I’ve had a jack that looks like your OTC for 15-20 years. The name is Goodyear Racing and I think I got it at Sam’s Club-but it was a really long time ago. Operation is exactly the same, even to breaking the handle. I finally got around to welding it back on last year, but the jack is usable without the handle. One difference is I can roll my Road Glide Ultra around easily-so I guess mine came with better wheels. I don’t find the “fixed” wheels at one end a problem, the bike rotates easily around the center of that end of the jack. Although it has tie-downs, I don’t find them necessary for maneuvering around the garage, it’s very stable. I don’t leave it on the jack, though. I pull straight in and park on the stand, slide the jack under, lift it with the foot pedal, swing it 180 to park it out of the way if my wife’s car, and set it back on its kickstand. Takes a minute, 90 seconds max. The jack has its own spot out of the way. Good review video, thanks!

thank you robert for an interesting video, i read all the comments hoping to see one for IRON HORSE LIFT/DOLLY, and someone who has a harley breakout.....i have a breakout which i bought from a friend, with a lot of custom and high performance mods, and i also need to turn my bike around, its too dangerous to back out, and too narrow to turn around without a huge hassle.
after looking at all available systems, i knew the long narrow rail models would never work with my 260 tire so it was between the iron horse and lets roll......i chose iron horse, and one think i have read constantly in this forum is customer service......well, iron horse has gone over and above for me.
it's a beautifully made system, this guy jesse is waiting on a patent on its design......the problem was getting it under the frame rails, the breakout is different, and he made me another rail system and is sending it free of charge.......i just found out tonight why all the other lifts wont go under, my mechanic thinks my front end is lowered and everyone else needs 4 inches or more.......i can get the iron horse under, but it misses the rear part of the frame rail due to keeping it away from the kickstand.
he has videos of it working on his bikes flawlessly.......you should check it out and do a trial on it, i know you will love it, and jesse has gone way out of his way trying to make it work, even making another wider rail for me to try.......i should get it friday.
he also said if i can't get it to work as intended or am not satisfied, return it all and he even will pay for the postage.

Well detailed video. I still would go with the J&S maybe because i never had a frustrating issue with it but its easy to lift, easy to maneuver, it can lift at multiple heights, its strong & sturdy, easy to repair and safe. I like when the bike is at the correct height position the locking levers take all weight off of the hydraulic jack. Its a one piece system (They also sell a dolly for it like the lets roll system) that is also strong. You can start the bike and sit on the bike while on the J&S and it wont move. I can work underneath the bike with confidence. I like the lets roll but you either have to crank it with a ratchet or impact drill and how does the lets roll get repaired if it won't lift, can it come down if the crank gets stuck or breaks with a bike on it? I like the lets roll as a dolly but refuse doing a two step long process with tools while on my knees just to move my bike around. The J&S serves as a dolly & repair (limited) lift and is safe and easy to use and repair.

I bought the let’s roll dolly and tried it out on my softail slim and absolutely loved it. The front half of my garage floor has a drain in the center so it has a slight pitch towards the drain however, rolling on the flat half or the sloped portion made no difference at all, it still moves buttery smooth.
Great product backed by excellent customer service and worth every penny. I’m also kicking around a couple of ideas for an extension that would allow you to raise the bike up while standing instead of kneeling and ratcheting.
Another big pro to this is that when you’re done with one or both pieces you can simply hang them on the wall.

Hey John. Thank you very much! The instructions specifically state not to use impact tools. I definitely thought about it!

Just need a stronger drill with more torque, like the Dewalt 20v XR. Then it will work. Definitely no impact gun.

Robert, love the videos. A lot of great information. Have you seen or heard of the "Iron Horse Lift/Dolly"? Similar to the the "Let's Roll" dolly but looks like it may have a "safer" lift system. Also American made. May be worth a look.

@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle My apologies!! First Thank you for your service. Second I was going back thru your "history" of videos and did find your review of the "Let's Roll Dolly". I am seriously considering purchasing one for myself. Great videos and keep up the good work and keep it preloaded!!

Thank you Robert. I have owned my JS Jack for over 7 years. You are right, they changed the design slightly over the years. Yours is slightly different than mine, specifically the pedal to jack it up. Your observation about their customer service is 💯 % I emailed them with a specific warranty question. After 4 weeks and no response, I decided to purchase the safety arms because they actually bent, both of them. Now the 2nd issue is after I ordered them till today 10/13/2022, I have yet to receive them. It's been more than 3 weeks. Very disappointed. The only issue I have with the Let's Roll Dolly is the price. I'm not cheap, I just think for a dolly it's a bit pricey. I actually had a question can I use my own scissor jack in the Let's Roll Dolly ?

Yeah you can use your own scissor jack with the let's roll dolly. As long as it's not much bigger than the one they make

Thanks for the review! Curious.. have you tried doing a three hole oil change using the lets roll dolly? Just curious if the dolly or jack stand are in the way.

I have a Yamaha Bolt R-Spec and my Harbor Freight jack leaves the bike very unstable when on it. The Let's Roll jack and dolly would be a good setup if the jack itself was a bit shorter when down. You need a minimum of 3.85" to get the jack under the bike and I only have 3.5" on the kickstand side when the bike is resting on the kickstand. I could possibly position the bike upright and get that clearance however for $700 I would like the jack and dolly to work right out of the box as advertised. Trying to hold a bike upright off the kickstand while trying to slide a jack underneath with one foot can be pretty risky. I live alone so it's hard to hold the bike upright and take a measurement at the same time to see if I have the required 3.85", and again, why pay $700 for a piece of equipment I'm going to have to modify to get to work.

Did you cover how high these jacks lift the bike? If all you're going to use it for is cleaning and oil changes, it doesn't matter. When you start to get into engine work, cam changes, etc, lift height is a consideration. On a full size touring bike, the small footprint jacks can easily fall over if the center of gravity shifts when a wheel is removed. I've seen bikes fall off a Harbor Freight cheapie (similar to the OTC jack) because the owner wasn't paying attention to that. I bought a Pit Bull jack a little over 10 years ago, because I could stand up when doing engine work. I've built full size touring Harleys from the frame up on a Pitbull jack, when both of my Handy tables were in use.

Hey, thanks for the great review. Thorough and to the point. There's one question it raised for me however. Is the Lets Roll wide enough to straddle the narrow jack? I have a jack similar to the narrow one you reviewed and wonder if I couldn't use that to lift the bike instead of the one that comes with the Lets Roll. Does anyone happen to know?

I move my Road Glide around my garage almost daily while ON the OTC jack! I think you had issues moving it because of your epoxy floor, NOT the jack itself. Mine works like a DREAM on my smooth finished garage floor. Great video again Robert, thanks for all you do for the community!

I own the J&S. Bought it used for around $200 i believe, so I live with the flaws for how infrequently i use it. In the end (after 40+ years of owning bikes), I feel everyone needs a jack of some kind - but dollies to move a bike around are ultimately more effort, cost, and space consuming than they are worth.
