Tactacam Fish-I cameras were $58 on Amazon. Even Tactacam is selling them for $99. Previously they were $199. While maybe not a GoPro, they still produce a pretty good picture and will record in 1080 @ 30 or 60 fps. They can be controlled with a remote and there is an app for dialing in the settings and lining up camera angles.
Have you or anyone you know used the Tactacam Fish-I? It seems like a good low cost alternative to a GoPro, even if it's just for side camera or B-roll type deal, but I'm reading horrible things about the app. Apparently it's dang near impossible to review and delete footage from the app to free up space on the SD card. If that's the only issue I could work around that by just bringing a few SD cards (since it only takes 64GB) and reviewing on the computer at home. Just want to make sure that's the only issue before I give it a shot.
@@mattflanjrfishing I've seen footage on CZcams and it looks fine. I've heard the same for the app. But I've also heard that it works for Iphone and not Android. As long as it can fix settings, and help line up the shots, thats all I care. And I was planning on using separate audio files. I'd have to check on the limits for sd card sizes. So reality for me is the video footage. Its a cheaper way to get started GoPro will always be king.
