I’m late to the party on this but what mounting plate did you have to use ? I can’t find any information on that as I have the same unit and putting on a kaysk

I got the 106sv as well coming from a helix 7, one thing I'm not liking so far is after you restart the unit some settings go back do default which on my hummimbird every change I made in the settings stayed in the memory. I asked a few people here on youtube if it was normal that some settings go back to auto and they said yes its normal for Garmin so I'm not liking that.

Did you have any issues with the trolling motor hitting the ducer while going backwards? I need to know if the clearance works for my ducer. I got the same one you've installed. LMK Thanks man!
No, clearance is fine
How is it holding up? I have an AP136 and looking to install one on mine. Just worried about whether the mount can take the weight, especially when it's on the water wobbling around.
No issues yet, just don't transport with it attached
How did the side imaging work on this being that the transducer seems to be up in the hull a bit still?

I'm a bit late here, but just wanted to see how it is a year later. If you are using sidevu to look far out to the side the hull doesn't block anything? @@JeffMalott

No gls box, not running scope
Are you using 1.5(C)ram mounts?

How has this been for you? I got a place has one on sale down from $2900 to $1800 with the GT56 transducer. I was gonna get the Garmin UHD 2 95sv but this one has my attention.

I got the larger screen because of the increased resolution, look up the pixel rating of each
