Definitely a quaint old town. Interesting how it used to be a bustling place...not so much anymore. Still, beautiful examples of old architecture there! Thanks for the tour!

Hey, thanks for watching! I find it fascinating to see civilization migrate from waterways to railways to highways over time. Some places that were hugely busy in the past are often all but gone nowadays, mainly because of advances in transportation, etc.

I have heard of New Market all my life, but I have never been there. Someday. My great grandfather was part of New Market's history, being one of those killed in the train wreck of 1904.

New Market started out as Tuckertown after a local tavern that still stands today.
