Ps4 sucks, I've owned. Nothing but PlayStation my whole life u until I stumbled over a used Xbox one s one day. Since then I've sold my ps4,games,etc. I like the games for Xbox the, and Xbox is really community based where as ps4 is kind of fixed where they don't want anyone designing , customizing or any of that stuff.

Maybe the PS4 is better in terms of graphics and power....But at the end of the day, I purchase the console that plays the games I want to play... For example I like Halo, so I'll buy an Xbox One, most people don't care which is better.

I think what he meant is the overall user experience. XBOX is clearly designed as a living room system. Whereas the PS4's focus lies on gaming. There is a great review about that topic on "polygon" (it's a well known blog, google it)

There is no free multiplayer. For 90% of the games, you are required to have PS+. And the Xbox One is cheaper than the PS4.

4NewHop3 Actually, it costs more. At least it used to. The only reason the price was lowered from $500 to $349 is because they're not getting as many sales as ps4. Im not a ps4 fanboy or anything, I have both consoles and really like them both. But its a known fact that the PlayStation 4 has more sales. I prefer the ps4 more as far as gaming goes, but xbox is pretty good too(Forza and Halo FTW!) And I prefer the xbox as far as youtube,netflix, and skype go. Skype would be pretty useful for recording with friends, but on the xbone you can only record up to 5 mins. With the ps4 you get up to 15 mins. So im just pretty much 50/50 on the whole "console war" thing.
Xbox is for kids at the age 5-15. When playstation is for the ages 15-20. Thats kinda why CoD is famous on Xbox and battlefield is famous on playstation.

Same here, I'll wait for some good games I'm looking forward to and then I'm definitely getting a PS4. Not just because I've been a PS fan since the first console, but because I want to play games, preferably alone. I don't need a multimedia box that does what other platforms do better. I got my PC for social media stuff, TV/DVD for watching stuff and what I expect from my console is the best gaming experience possible, while comfortably sitting in my chair, sipping a cocktail or lying on my bed. Less is often more.

You get used to the controllers. PS fans wont like the Xbox controller while Xbox fans don't like PS controller.
Both consoles have their issues, you just have to choose the right one for you. I choose PC as I could afford it, but I would honestly get the PS4 because I don't need the features that the Xbox One is offering. Not saying PS4 is superior, but it has the features I as a gamer need, same as some would say about the Xbox.

The GAME CRASHED ON US!!!! we wondered why.. we thought we said a voice command or something.. so we turned it back on and played again and his sistr said something like "ARE U GUYS PLAYING XBOX" and it stopped on us and pulled up a menu.. that shit is sooo annoying!!!
***** Software crashes are *completely* software end, "software" being the game. The Xbox One (or 360) operating system has virtually no effect on that.
In other words, that crash is the complete fault of the game developers, not the platform on which it was being played.

But now that the XBOX one is released and it has some extra side features, 360 users are saying that "It's the best because it can do so much more than just gaming!". PC is the best experience the easiest to maintain and easiest to upgrade but hardest to start

Xbox 1 is a good multimedia platform that could easily replace my cable with netflix and youtube but has decent gaming experience and a better all around media experience is a little harder to start and also difficult to maintain
As a technician myself my advice is if you can't afford or are unsure of weather to get PS4/XB1 at this point don't get either as their shelf life is going to be very short... the hardware in them is simply not powerful enough to go another 6 years like the last 2 gens. (The newest Assassins Creed installment is already cutting its fps and graphical integrity to make it playable on consoles and the console just launched) tough it out on PS3/XB360 and go PC. if your smart you can build a hell of a PC for $600...

I have all these fucking cords I need to attach? Then I have like a second TV on my Xbone, completely defeating the purpose of my TV.. I've always used my xbox for gaming and to watch tv... I had a ps3 and sold it and only got it back for the exclusive games. But you know that's like saying since pc can do both then you should get a ps4 for gaming. I love both but truth is xbox have a better overall expierience. I never play PS online really. You people are so close minded its disturbing. Open your mind a little bit and see why its so cool to be able to hook your cable box to your xbox. I am now always connected and online with xbox even while watching tv.
Say my friend comes online and sees that I am watching tv he can shoot me an invite to a game and I will receive the game invite over my tv. Which I can then within a matter of seconds jump right into the game by saying xbox go to Forza 5 or whatever game it is.
Or lets say I am downloading a game and don't want to sit and wait for it I can simply switch to tv and watch tv until I receive a message over my tv that the download has finished and then I say xbox go to forza 5 and in a second I am playing the game I downloaded.
Or for me I watch allot of football so during half time I can switch quickly to a game and have tv snapped in the right side of the screen and the game snapped to the left so I know when half time is over and then I simply say xbox go to tv and it instantly takes me from my game to the tv.
Xbox one is a true gamers console because even when your not playing you are always connected to it and ready to jump onto a game when friends come online. You people are stuck in the past. Todays technology is merging into one and you guys just want your system to do one thing and one thing only. If you want a true next Gen game console that is built for the future then go with xbox one!
How about you realize that they both do the same thing, except the Xbox is a little bit easier to use and it has more features besides just gaming. The Xbox also runs at a steadier framerate, but you wouldn't notice that if you were just playing them normally because, like I said, they're basically the same thing. I'm sure if Sony put all the features in the PS4 that the Xbox One has you'll say it's the best thing in the world.
My unbiased conclusion based on the side-by-side comparisons I've seen is that the Xbox One is a more stable console with more features but the PS4 is the same exact gaming experience minus $100.
If you want to play games and that's all you care about in a console, PS4.
If you want to play games and do a bit more than play games with voice commands and things and play MP3 files or something for $100 more, Xbox One.
Yes, the PS4 cannot play MP3 files, so if you buy a lot of CD's or plan on hooking your iPod to it to listen to music through the TV while you play, you're out of luck. It also doesn't have DLNA support. Again, more goodies for $100 but those are irrelevant if all you want to do is game.
But the Xbox One does run at a steadier framerate.
I predict big things for XBOX One and Kinect in the very near future.

I think your description of the PS4's capabilities is a bit misleading. The way you put it, it sounds like the PS4 doesn't do anything else than gaming. In reality, it pretty much does everything the X1 does, except the whole TV-part. Sure, Microsoft and Sony has chosen different marketing arguments, but that doesn't mean they can't do the stuff they don't advertise.
just the TV part? come on man even ps4 fanboys know xbox one has a lot more features plus being a gaming console
PS4 has most of the Xbox's non gaming features, but the big difference is that about 90% of the Xbox's features are LOCKED behind a PAYWAL.
I do believe now PS4 is also all behind payment... however PSN in my opinion is lot more worth PSP\PS3\PS4...
But I wanted that the online gaming would be free, so PC for me only.

guily6669 No it's not all. You can still watch youtube or Hulu without playstation plus, but on the XBone you need Gold to even use skype & youtube which is free on ALL OTHER PLATFORMS.
PlNKUHOSHI ps4 doesn't come with youtube sadly

Strange I can watch youtube videos on my PS4's browser without issues and in HD, guess it does not need a separate app like the Xbone720p.
Your point is invalid as I watch youtube on my PS4 while typing this.
