You cannot tell the difference between the Xbox One or PS4, I have played both on 1080p screens and they look the same. The Playstation controller has a slightly better feel to it, but the Xbox One controller feels familiar. The games are good for both systems, again, I prefer the exclusives toward Xbox One, like Halo. Playstation is a bland console that takes little to no risks on design choices. Xbox One however, runs smoother than the Playstation. The Xbox One Kinect is very good for voice controls, nothing else though. These two consoles are basically the same damn thing, and if a Sony/Xbox fanboy tells you differently, they are lying out of their ass. Just pick the console you want, if it has better exclusives or your friends are buying it, then go ahead. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and buy what you want.

I have both and i also have a 1080p screen. There are very few games that you can't see much of a difference. You must be playing on a very small tv.

I think in the end I'm going to get the Xbox One. It's exclusive titles are really cool to me, the storage issue isn't going to be much of a problem since I'm a casual, and the controller/Kinect features are really interesting!

Cristian Hernandez Probable because PlayStation was the first to have the rechargeable batteries embedded within the controller. Therefore, if Microsoft were to do the same they would have to get permission from Sony or risk of being sued by them for stealing their idea without acknowledging them. I could be completely wrong about everything i just mentioned.

Ps4: don't have to buy batteries, don't have to install every game you buy, ps4 looks cool, xbox one controller is uncomfortably big, ps4 graphics are better, xbox one costs more, you can use multiple hard drives on ps4, with playstation plus you can get free games free dlc and play online, xbox one is heavier, ps4 has awesome exclusive games, ps4 is quicker, you can record gameplay by pressing one button and it's easier to use and not so complicated.
I'm sorry to tell you that you need to look up facts... Its not 2013 anymore... Xbox runs games on 1080p like ps4 does, they started selling xbox one without kinnect, and they will soon start selling only kinnect, i like the controllers of both xbone and ps4, plus ur bitching about how u need to buy batteries on xbox controller, its true, but you can buy rechargable battery, therefore ps4 has rechargable battery already BUT if something happens to it you have to buy a whole new controller or try to replace it urself by risking damaging the controller. Im not going to start a war here so i think people should buy the system that more appeals to to them. ( sorry for bad english)

They started selling withought a kinect because its a fail.Its CPU is 8 CORE AMD Custom CPU frequency 1.75 GHz That can barely run games at 1080p if the xbox one plays games on 1080p its slow and lags sometimes.

I don't know if it's just me but Halo and Destiny look a lot a like both in gameplay and design. I mean Bungie made them both and they both take place in space so that's pretty obvious. Anyways Ps4 gets better exclusivity in Destiny but Xbox One gets Halo. It comes down to which you rather have. *cough ps4 cough*

This is why I chose PS4 over Xbox one. You have to pay subscription fees on Xbox one in order to stream CZcams videos while on PS4 you can watch CZcams videos for completely free without paying any fees. Plus you get more free features on PS4 such as Spotify music and TV shows. I am so happy that I have a PS4 system at home.

It’s funny to look back at this all these years later. I am just glad now they both support backwards compatibility with at least this generation. It’s also funny to think they both basically chose tablet CPUs. I think most of this generation was hampered more by the CPU, and yeah they seem to have fixed this in Series X and PS5. I hope this means we won’t get a pro version so soon into the life cycle.
I owned an Xbox 360 for about ten years, we had a 12 GB Hard-drive, and it wasn't until about eight years of owning our Xbox that we bought a 32 GB flash. With space like that, it really makes you look at how much space your games take up. One Black Ops 2 map pack takes up about the same/more space than a whole campaign in Grand Theft Auto Four. (campaign's like The Lost and Damned)

I agree with most of what he says. I went with the Xbox one and strongly considering getting the PS4 also. My son has the PS4 and he loves it. It does not have the total experience the Xbox has with the voice controls which they really enhanced but they do seem to have a lot more free to play games and crisper graphics to my eye. I am pretty much stuck here the day after Christmas with a Xbox one that can pretty much only do voice commands and only do fantasy football via the NFL network which I do yahoo on. A lot of reviewers here to not mention this, they do not get into the details which is unfortunate or maybe the issue is legal stuff but I am an average consumer so I can say what I want. The one thing that is concerning is that the triggers on the PS4 my son has have started to wear off. The PS4 went with rubber and it is coming off of his controller. He got the PS4 on launch so that is just a little over 1 and a half months ago. He said that there are covers you can get for them but I think that is an inconvenience and more money out of the pocket. All in all I expected more from both systems after having to wait so long for there creation. Portability anyone? did anyone talk about that? My son brings his PS4 with him in his backpack to his friends house and with him to work, I do not see how he would do that with an Xbox one. Oh well...we will see what next year brings.

Xbox is a true upgrade/change from the 360 and the Playstation is a PS3 with better graphics and a slightly better controller when you strip everything down.

I think most people refuse to admit that Xbox 1 is better than PS4 simply because many of us grew up playing PlayStation and want to stay loyal, but Xbox 1 is just way more interesting than ps4 and way more computerized u can run 2 apps at the same time, it has voice command which u can use to select apps, play discs, and turn off the system and other stuff.

I purchased an Xbox one near release and I was very satisfied with it and still am (Especially with upcoming exclusives 'Gears of War' and 'Halo 5' near release). But my friends have now found ourselves trying to answer the question is the PS4s graphical advantage going to begin to be a clearer selling point with games like 'Fallout 4', 'Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege', 'Tom Clancy's The Division' and off course ''Star Wars: Battlefront' demanding allot from the consoles '...' . Are the graphics that much better? Will we see the PS4 leading the way in the higher resolutions forever; is it worth swapping or is it barely visible? Thank you.
As a PS4 fanboy after switching from the 360 I would say that unless you really want to play with your friends on the PS4 keep your one. It's a fine console and will probably be fine for your uses

Do I absolutely need Internet for an Xbox one? I've been thinking about getting one. I'm just a casual gamer. So would I need Internet connection at all?
I bought the XB1 for the controller, Forza, Halo, Titanfall, Dead Rising, and some of the multiplats, and to play with my friends. I'll get a PS4 a few years from now when it's like $250 and has more games I'm interested in. I have a PS3 and never liked Killzone, but I did like inFamous and Ratchet&Clank.
I'm mainly going with XB1 first this time(went PS3 first last gen) because the 360 had an outstanding amount of exclusives that I loved whereas PS3 only had 2 or 3 exclusives I loved.
Either way, I still have my gaming PC (i5-4670k, GTX 760 2Gb, 8Gb RAM) that I will use as well as my Xbox One but I still always like to have a console to compliment my PC.

I've been hearing a lot of trash between the Xbox One and the PS4. Whenever Xbox or Sony fanboys say these stuff that means they are just insecure. And that's okay, Insecurity is part of life. But what I am trying to say is that if the person who is talking trash to you about your console then that means they bought a PS4 or an Xbox One and they HATE that console and they are trying to make you feel bad about YOUR console because they are jelly that they have a crud console. So, don't let any fanboy tell you what to buy. Buy what YOU wanna buy, don't let others tell you so. I am going to spread this message around CONSOLE WAR videos. Your actually right and I respect that but ps4 and all of Sony is just better. The console wars are a tradition and we need to keep it going but after reading your comment you just blew my mind on how it just stupid to fight over these video games

what if you use regular rechargeable batteries like from Energizer or Duracell? will they work? because I never use alkaline, only rechargeables.
