While Mumbai’s position to host the 2023 session will need to be ratified at the 136th IOC session in Tokyo, what cannot be ignored is the role that has been played by IOC member Nita Ambani in helping the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) fulfill the dream of a billion.

With Tokyo Olympics just round the corner and a strong Indian contingent once again looking to vie for podium spots, it is in the horizon that someday India would also host Olympics on home soil.

The problem of Olympics in India is that more than parents it's the government, they only want Cricket and nothing else, even the Indian society in towns and villages only loves cricket more than Olympics or FIFA, In India the problem in Olympics is Money and nothing else, a talented player if he has no money then he is kicked out whereas if someone else is there who doesn't have talent but has money he is selected

In many families education is given more importance than sports, this stops many young players in pursuing their goal. We should make one fixed location for Olympic event every year
Because all sports have their own different worldwide competition other than Olympic, which can be held at any place, but Olympic should be only do at 1-1 or 2-2 places, for winter and summer Olympics

Russia over budgeted the Sochi Olympics by 50 Billion dollars. It didn't affected Russian economy that much because all the impact was swallowed up the russian oligarchy. On contrary , Most of the Venues of Rio de Janiero were ment for temporary use and after that they were ment to be dismantled. But just after Olympics, Local government of Rio lost election and new government came to power , and new Government scrapped the policy of removal of venues.
