Welcome to the first PDGA Pro Major of the 2023 season! We are at the historic WR Jackson course at the International Disc Golf Center. This is a four round event that will test each and every player on every shot. There has never been a major winner from chase card. With 3 chase card wins in a row could we finally see a winner?

It's funny to hear Fish and Nate talk about how they can't do something that Eagle or AB does. There aredefinitely tiers at the pro level.

Jokes aside, give the guy a break, CZcams commenters... I agree it's not a good look, but even disc golf pros are humans. Sometimes the frustration will take over. As long as it doesn't become a habit or cross a line (mouthing off against players/marshals etc), I think pros should be allowed a meltdown or two.

A small question: What does "drift" mean? Because according to you guys it's when the disc is hyzering-out (fading), or anhyzering at the finish (turning)! And so I have no idea what a disc is actually doing when it's drifting. Maybe add "left" or "right" to indicate just a small movement? "Drifting left" definitely sounds like it's a gentle movement, but movement needs a direction - yeah?
By "drift" they mean it's turning, not fading. They never call it drift when it's fading.

That triple bogey Simon took on 12 was totally preventable. The new Simon would take his medicine & pitched out to an open spot on the fairway. The old Simon came out on that hole. 3 strokes for nothing. Hope he learns from this. Great content GKM!

He got frustrated, was probably a mix of not playing as good as he is able to and spectators moving so they lose a bit of focus, he almost always uses a bit of time on his shots, but there he just threw without thinking

Gatekeeper Media did Simon dirty with that sponsorship plug following hole 12. Sheeew. Not a good look on either end.
We place those ads based on their tee order. They go on holes 3,6,12,15. Simon tees off third to start the round so his ad goes on hole 12. We are trying to get the videos out as fast as possible so we don’t see these types of things in the editing room. 🤷♂️
Understandable. I’d imagine there’s audibles that could be made to change the order of the ad placement to better benefit the player, their sponsor/who they sign with (in this case MVP, which was a huge decision for Simon), and ultimately Gatekeeper Media. Painted in this light, it just looks like you guys have it out for him (from a viewers perspective).
I was thinking the exact same thing. MVP must have been cringing.

Why isn’t eagle getting more cred than he is for his insanely pure and fast backhand form, he consistently throws in the mid 70s and can reach 84mph what feels like anytime he wants, people are always talking about barela, gurthie, tamm, wiggins but rarely hear people talk about eagle

@@ElveZ83 You’re correct. Spectators should be reminded by the tournament staff not to move till all 4 players have finished the hole. However, that is no reason to carry on like Simon did. Plus, he made the putt I think you’re referring to.
