The wide BMS Levelawns (or Lutes) have been designed for use on fine flat turf areas, such as bowling greens, cricket pitches, croquet lawns, lawn tennis courts etc, during ongoing programs of seasonal maintenance, reducing and removing low spots and undulations.
The inner bars of the 2m & 3m wide Levelawns help spread topdressing material, followed by a second pass over the same area of fine levelling with the rear channel of the frames. The inner bars are adjustable, ideally set 1-2mm above the level of the outer channels. Because of the high accuracy in their manufacture, correct use will reduce undulations on playing surfaces to at least 6mm (1/4") or less.
The smaller BMS Levelawns are also used to repair small patches and work in materials around the edges as shown.
Dragmats have also been used to break up any clumps and help spread the topdressing to avoid "suffocation" of the existing grass.

What are the "pucks" on the outer age? Are they used to establish a grid for the field being worked?
