I sort of feel like I have to start off with an apology. Its been roughly a month since the last review and this extended length of time wasn't intentional. I've been experiencing a lot of issues as of late, some of which I outlined in community posts.
Like getting super sick a few weeks ago. My work hours changed, so I have less time at home. And generally I haven't been able to get good sleep, so my daylight hours are even more limited. These things were taking a toll on me and causing my video production to suffer.
I'm really sorry about that, cause I have an obligation to my audience and supporters and I don't wanna let anyone down. Unfortunately coming to that conclusion was also somewhat demoralizing, because when I feel behind I feel like I can never catch up again.
And I think my channel is in a critical place right now, so it doesn't behoove me to take time off, lest I lose opportunity to grow. That's the pragmatic side of it.
So I wanna pledge to be the best creator I can be for everyone who enjoys my videos, because although this channel hasn't reached the heights of more established reviewers, the amount of support I have gotten is well beyond my expectations and I feel incredibly blessed to have as many eyes of my videos as I have gotten.
And hopefully it stays that way for some time, because I enjoy creating content that people enjoy. It feels like I can make a difference for people by trying to be something reliably funny and entertaining, because I know the world isn't like that often.
So again, I am sorry for my tardiness, I want to improve my video output for everyone who watches the channel because I wouldn't even be motivated to do this stuff if it wasn't for everyone's support. And you all have my unending gratitude for that support, because that's what really keeps this channel alive.

I'm glad you at least mentioned the ball-jointed shoulders. Almost every other review I've seen of this guy just didn't acknowledge them as if we haven't primarily been getting hinge-and-swivel since Siege.
I saw a few people on Twitter having issue with it, so I figured I may as well even if I didn’t mind like I said in the video
He does transform into tank mode in the movie, when he is spotting the decepticons coming, and informs Ultra Magnus.
"Ultra Magnus! A cursory evaluation of Decepticon capability indicates a distinct tactical deficiency!"

Mostly aid Optimus in moving Energon around and defending the Ark in the 2nd and 3rd levels of the game. He didn’t do much outside of being the guy in the chair, but it was cool to see him and play as him in multiplayer
You are quickly becoming one of my favourite reviewers, up there with TRDQ. Funny, short, informative, idk what else people could possibly want out of a Transformers channel. I don't even *like* Perceptor that much, but this review alone is making me consider replacing my Titans Return Percy

Come to think of it, Perceptor really would make for an amazing wrestler. His trash talk would all be based on facts and logic and after ruining his foe he'd transform into a microscope just so he can better inspect the damage he's done. Hell, even his iconing line "I fear the wounds are... fatal" would make for a pretty badass win quote in a fighting game.

Actually in season 2 episode 11 “microbots” he uses the tank mode to destroy the destabilized heart of cybertron.

@@Gei4Mei watched not too long ago with my daughter. It’s the one where the decepticons get drunk off energon. Perceptor, brawn and bumblebee go all honey I shrunk the kids.

I'm very late, I realize. But the answer to this is "sort of." Perceptor turns into his regular microscope mode, but fires a beam out of his scope. It's odd.
I was initially going to skip this guy since I have the Titans return version, but after watching your review I’m totally gonna get it😎

@@Gei4Mei thanks for asking! it’s actually very similar but really good. It’s shorter, and has more hollowness but the sculpted detail and overall aesthetic is a bit more involved, the headmaster can drive the tank mode which is great, and the microscope actually moves in and out when you turn the dial! Also he comes with a sniper rifle! Overall similar, still good but aesthetically different and has more features yet isnt as structurally sound as SS86

I actually find the leg transformation pivots can be used to make him cross his legs which makes for quite the rare pose on a mainline figure.
I don't mind them because he's a transformer, so extra joints make sense.

So I'm a little late sorry I watched it the day it came out, but I got two versions of this figure for in box and out of box collection. I'm so happy I made a new video and you killed it and I'm excited for them to make a studio series 86 prime (I hope)

I love this Perceptor, I got him from my local comic book shop in Manhattan and he was just a joy, and he looks good next to his G1 Universe 2.0 Reissue I got way back in 2010 and idk I'm just speechless like this is Perceptor and I have Legacy Blaster so I can recreate the scene "Blaster, Ultra Magnus sends orders to contact Optimus Prime on moonbase one." "Oh right cover your receptors Perceptor"
I know, you can’t have one without the other! He’s technically my first Perceptor myself, but my brother has the 2010 version

you can store the canon more cleanly, use the transformation rotation to put it on his actual shoulder and rotate it back, it doesn't block movement and looks a lot better

@@Gei4Mei Considering that most toy makers aren’t going to be well versed in military vehicles and only really know of: fighter jet, tank, helicopter, jeep, battleship, and submarine. It probably is supposed to be a tank, even though it looks like an artillery piece or a maxim gun just strapped onto treads.
