I’m the same way I got a 2013 Elantra currently but I’d like to get apple car play on my next car and blind spot monitoring would be cool cause I almost hit someone who was in my blind spot the other day 😬
My grandpa had a 2015 Hyundai Elantra and he wrecked it....sooo he got a new 2019 Hyundai Elantra sel and hes gonna pick it up tomorrow
Absolutely love this car, I have the exact same one, I got it just for the sole purpose of gas mileage and android auto, tho the downside of it, if you plan on getting a sound system is that stock stereo has a bass rolloff so if you add a subwoofer to it, once you go above 25 on the knob, bass frequencies will sound lower than higher ones
Do you think I'll be good if I only replace door speakers ?
That's so funny! I traded in a 2013 Elantra GLS for my new 2019 Elantra SEL too!
How come
I traded my '13 in only because I read on Car Complaints that the '13's have a tendency to have catastrophic engine failure around 60k-70k miles. So I wanted out while it had trade value.
That button I'm talking about is @7:42
See the coin? Feel to the right of the coin, in front of the coin. (Between the coin & the front of the ledge where the shifter is. In that coin tray.)
Nothing there for me it's a flat surface
@@TechOut That's so weird. Your car looks identical. You're also in the U.S. I assume?
Nice review I'm picking mine up this afternoon 👍
I’m getting my 2020 one tomorrow😊. I’m so excited.
@@MzDeAndraJhene how do you like it
Triple X I honestly love it. I got it in the color Scarlet Red Pearl. It has a lot of safety features, it’s easy to maneuver, and it had the Apple CarPlay and everything.
@@MzDeAndraJhene aww I’m so happy for u!! I’m hoping to get it soon also wish me luck I’m bout to ask my parents 😂🤞🏾🤞🏾
Nice I got a 2020 se I’m getting the sel touch screen put in by Hyundai it’s basically just bigger & has apple android CarPlay just looks better. Thanks for the video
How much is the dealer charging for that?
TechOut have no idea I asked and they said they’ll call me & it’s schedule for tomorrow at 2:30 so I’ll let you know lol
I want to get remote start don't know if I want the dealer to do it or get a viper one from best buy
TechOut you just read my mind I was thinking the same thing. I kinda wanna wait bc I’m getting leather seats on Monday but I would get Hyundai to do the remote start but Best Buy will probably be better pricing
The viper one is like $250 free install. Hyundai is like $450 just for the remote start before labor
The lease is up on my 2016 Tucson and the Elantra is one of the models I am considering. I had one in the past and loved it. I would get the SE model, I don't need any of the ultra high tech features. In terms of actual performance is there any advantage of your model over the SE?
Nope there is no performance difference in trim levels unless you go with the eco or sport
Thanks.
I went with the SEL bc I wanted to at least have the heated side mirrors like my '13 and 's 11 had.
Does the SEL also have Forward Collision Assistance?
Yes
@@TechOut thanks!
Does it have a good sound system for music?
It's not bad IMO I'm not a huge music person so personally the CarPlay for GPS and stuff was more of a concern than the sound itself.
Are you looking at getting one?
How do you feel about the speakers? Are they loud?
I’m not a huge music person so they are just fine for me
@@TechOut ok, thanks
It’s not really loud
Question how did you get CZcams on there? I use Android auto can't find it
Please explain where you see CZcams anywhere on there?
How would this car hold up in the long run?
Great so far but I can’t predict the future
I’ve read some people have older elantras or accents and they have like 300k-400k miles
@@Madisita Idk how true that is...i'm in NYC and i barely see any older Hyundai's in general...
Just got mine. Insanity on the MPG
Really is I get about 38-45 MPG
Get some darker tints 🔥
I live in Virginia anything worthwhile is illegal
You can get the push start for 10,000
What?
Is this car reliable? Do you like it still?
Yes I've only had 1 minor issue which was covered under warranty
Only issue is last April the check engine light came on. Dealer replaced the thermostat been fine since. Right now the horn isn't working looks to be the relay built into the fuse box. Have an appt at the dealer Saturday for that.
