Feels good in the hand too.

How do you do this so confidently?
I would be like, "Uhh, is there supposed to be something there?" "Did I install that correctly?" "Was there supposed to be a bushing there?" "WHERES THAT BOLT"
Organization and planning out the project go a long way! That way you'll know if you did it all correctly!
Well , Chris does has some experience.
That helps him out

Hey Chris. The bolt was designed in a place where if the nuts come off, there is something to hold the bolt from coming off completely. It is designed for safety. You don't want your LCA to come off completely in any speed.
idk man with that logic wouldn't every single bolt in the wheel area be blocked off too then? lol.
@@smhvito not really
@@smhvito agreed, i'd hope they'd use a cotter pin, red loctite or something designed to stop bolts from coming off, not block it with another part of the frame

i just played wangan midnight videos and these chrisfix started popping up again on my feed just like how he used to back in 8th grade with him starting out ♡
i love how clean your work is, and you make it look easy
As an owner of a 98 Mustang GT, I appreciate your videos of the Drift 'Stang. Although mine is a daily driver, you have given awesome details on things I needed to do to her. With your help, I have replaced control arm bushings, ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, anti-sway bar bushings and end links, front wheel bearings, upgraded brakes all around, wheel spacers and you even helped me diagnose a fuel delivery problem. The fuel issue turned out to be worn wires at the rear wiring harness that was rubbing the insulation off of the wires where it over hung the lip of the fuel tank. One problem that has taken about 9 months to figure out was a clunking noise whenever the front suspension loads and unloads. After many online Mustang forum searches, it turned out to be loose bolts at the k-member stabilizer bar at the rear of the k-member. It runs under the oil pan. I didn't even know it existed! Thank you for all you do!
i have been watching chrisfix's videos from a long time ago and cant stop watching his drift vids

It's just time, research, and work! Plus paying attention. A lot of mechanic work is logic and feel. Good luck!
He googles it,then if he fucks up,he can cut out.
Let's not discredit Chris, he definitely does his due diligence and makes sure he does everything properly, but yes.. Anyone can google the job and find the torque specs online and do it themselves. The whole point of ChrisFix's channel is so everyone knows how easy all of this is. He's stated many times he's not a mechanic. It definitely gave me the confidence boost I needed to start working on my t5m.
WS 88 Any mechanic ? So many incompetent mechanics out there that your opinion is more than false.

Clean and professional work. Good job
I really enjoyed this video :) Very informative, didn't know there was a car where removing the lower control arm needs you to move other parts to get the bolts out. Am I the only one who thinks an angle kit would be useful for making a car easier to do U-turns in, nevermind for drifting?
I really admire your extra effort to explain things in detail with visual demonstrations. It really shows the dedication you put into every single video. Keep it up Chris.

You should look into a PI head and intake manifold swap. It's the heads and manifold from the 99-04 mustang GT's and is a good bump in power (about 20-30hp). It's a popular mod for your year of stang!
The PI heads, plus a CAI , throttle plenum, off road x or H pipe, and catback exhaust will yield a good 40-50 ponies over stock and about the same increase in torque, for around 1500 bucks. Some 3.73 gears will help with getting off the line too! A lot of people hate the SN95 because they are slugs from the factory, but even the automatic cars have a lot of potential and the fact that nobody wants them makes them cheap and ideal project cars!
I love how you explain everything
If I had the strength right now I’d be out in garage working on my 96 ls swap camaro but my back is wasted o,o love your videos Chris really get the blood pumping and I’ve used your videos from time to time to remind myself how to do certain things, please never get rid of the drift stang, I want to see it boosted or engine swapped

NİKOLA TESLA : I miss my Rwd volvos... They had an incredible (to me) turning radius for such an average car, it always foot comments from passengers. Pretty sure if I did this to my fwd car the axle would fall apart, haha. Or I'd have to be careful to never load it up while turning hard.
volvo09 My V50 also has a really tight turning radius, it's awesome! I just found some website to compare turning the radius, and actually my FWD has 0,2 meters tighter of a radius than a 850. Interesting to know! :) A relative to mine owned a Renault Kangoo, and wow the turning radius sucked on that little car compared to what I am used to!
+RUTHLESSNOODLE for you yes waste of time and money FOR ME NEVER WASTE OF MONEY İ LOVE TO BECOME İNTERESTİNG PERSON BUDDY BE DİFFERENT
Ruthlessnoodle - it could be argued that doing almost anything to a car is a total waste of money... Modifications (not repairs) rarely increase value. Based on that you modify a car to suit your own taste and needs, not someone else's.
DracoRemixer An 850 is also FWD, longer and actually steers like a van, so turning 0.2m shorter isn't really impressive. Compare it to a 740 or 940, even longer but RWD.
I've owned a Renault Clio, that thing was ridiculous, such a tiny car and I did 5-point turns where my Volvo 940 could almost make it around in one go.
