I had and enjoyed the A54. I'll be getting this next. Great review.
Watching this on an A55, I can tell you, I have come from a Realme 6 pro and once you maximize the functionality, features and customisation of the One UI 6.1, you are seriously gonna take time to know this phone, I've had it for almost 2 days now and I'm still trying to familiarise myself with the One UI 6.1 experience. Honestly, coming from a Realme 6 Pro, the upgrade is worth it and it is a gradual and subtle change when you are coming from a A54. But hey thats my opinion on the A55. Just take time to actually use it on a daily basis and real world usages. And oh yeah, to those saying the A55 is not meant for gaming? Kinda right cause its a 'All Rounder' in my opinion, it is afterall a Samsung Phone. Can't Go Wrong with it❤.

Can you change the clock font on lockscreen with your own personal font?
Maling desisyun exynos chipset is trash..im using A 33 5g..naghintay ka sana muna ng ilang months baka may lumabas na issue..

@@user-gc4dq6im9m di naman yan imposible, yung sa akin kasi grad gift to at bundle yung tinarget ko, kasi my libreng adapter (worth 1.1k) at galaxy buds FE (worrh 5.5k) na kasama kaya kinuha ko na nung nagkataon, at isa pa pre if history has taught us anything, only in rare occasions na nag labas ng SD na chipset ang Samsung sa midrange, hindi ako Samsung user, last ko na Samsung ay ang Samsung Champ pa, kaya hindi ko alam ang history, but if mag re-research ka malalaman mo na halos exynos talaga chipset ng samsung sa midrange to cut cost and production time.

Finally, someone mentioned the design change of the frame.
Watching on my 5 year old galaxy a50. Looking forward to upgrade to this. I saw both a35 and a55 in the samsung store, the two looks exactly the same. Specs have subtle difference. I'm not really techy, I just take things on the physical level, like good design, good camera and good for daily use. 😂 I guess my a50 will be my last phone with an earphone jack.

Samsung offers trade in mam. I just trade in my A50 with this fon.
The bezel doesn't look bad as I am watching it. Probably I will really consider getting this since I am comfing from A22 4G which I think is a big upgrade for me.

Simple lng nmn kung heavy gamer ka hindi ito para sayo pero kung gusto mo ng mas maayos na camera, mas optimized na OS, mas durable kc aluminium na at longer OS and security update dito kana A55 ng samsung

Hello. Have you encountered a green line issue on the screen on mid-range units? I have encountered this on A73 after 2 years of using it. I hope A55 is safe from it. 😂

Watching from my A80, is the upgrade to A55 worth it or should I wait for more upcoming A series models?
For the price I think the Nothing Phone 2A and Vivo V30 has better specs for the price, but I guess Samsung has better integration of their hardware and software making the experience better than the rest

If u want worth of money take redmi note 13 pro+, if u want something different @ premium feels take a55
considering exynos, pag tumagal ng ilang taon. Nagdedecline yung performance niya. 🤷

The 1480 SoC is not great for gaming at long periods. Maybe it will receive updates extending frame rates and frame times. Rather get Snapdragon for games

you should also educate the viewers the difference of Exynos and Snapdragon variants of the Samsung. Not only Flexing its specs Blindly and base from Antutu Benchmark (Peak performance) and not on the Stability (Sustained performance).
Im gonna make a simpler reviews for you. Samsung A55 are more focus on camera, display and durability which is very good for casual used. If you're a heavy gamer then this phone is not for you but doesnt mean this phone cant use for gaming

Bezel doesnt matter once you slap a case. If only screen remains the same with A54 or even smaller, I would buy this on a heartbeat as backup. IMO 6.6" screen is not pocketable anymore..

Nope I am definitely skipping this one. I just got my OneUI 6.1 uodate for my A54 5G and I do think that besides the chipset nothing much was changed. Hence why Samsung PH priced this phone like how they priced the A54 5G last year.
There was nothing crazily massive that they did here that can make me get this one for myself. So for now I am sticking with my A54 5G as my Android secondary phone. Since I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max as my primary phone I mainly use A54 as my secondary Android phone anyways.
Could probably offset launch price by selling the freebies. 😅 Or wait months for discounts.
Is the Camera better than Galaxy a10? Is the a55 more like a downgrade or an upgrade to the s10?

In our opinion it would be an upgrade.
Unless you think you'll miss the slim form factor of the S10 and Dex support.
But it's definitely an upgrade in other aspects.

Wala naman ultra mode sa mobile legends, hindi tulad ng a52s 5g meron, exynos 1480 4 nanometer pa at gpu xclipse 530 pero wala din, sa portrait mode niya after taking pictures hindi na naadjust ang blurred background
Bago pa ang chipset kaya need pa ng optimization mula sa game developers. Updates will be pushed by game devs soon

Updated mine may ultra na sa fps and graphics. I can say nag mamax 120 fps sya and pag clash mostly nasa 100-110fps stable nya kahit may madaming minion. Pag ala kapang Ultra pwede mong i appeal sa settings and few hours magiging available na ultra sa settings. Need Clear data/Reinstall para ma refresh yung resources kasi di naka download ultra resources nya kahit nag reverify ako ng resources @@JLL02
Hintayin mo lang bago pa lang yung unit. Sa A52s ko matagal din bago lumabas ultra.

@@chardtni yes if you have hardware issues already especially battery health, if not then i suggest to keep your a52s. It is more feature packed than a55.

I'm disappointed with A55 and left it in rhe shop. Reason was way too thick and heavy! I have never held such a thick brick in my hands before in my whole life. A terrible experience. And so heavy that I thought it must be at least 250 grams, which it isn't, but honestly it felt like it was. Waiting for a cheaper and much better phone in upcoming OnePlus Nord 4 which will hit the shops in a couple of months and have true fast charging and a great new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip and it looks absolutely stunning, ultra thin bezels, plus 80W or 100W expensive charger will be for free inside the box.
Get some muscles

@@chesteralexandercarpio2793 along with yugatech review im waiting for the gsmarena review to compare I wont be surprised if camera wise Vivo V30 wins but audio speakers build quality and resale value goes to samsung for sure
the only problem with vivo v30 is the lack of stereo speakers if that is not your deal breaker then go for the v30
@@johnphilipdunque4231 agree the speakers sucks but when using earphone it sounds ok naman. Resale value is something im still researching on coz next year i plan to get samsung s25 plus or s25 ultra after trading in a Vivo v30 or a55 I think though all else equal the a 55 would have a higher resale value dont know by how much though Vivo and samsung are neck and neck in terms of market share in the philippines.
Aside from the mono speaker, V30 has better specs, I guess it comes down to software, for me I trust samsung more when it comes to software, still your choice though
THE DESIGN IS TOO iPHONE.
I was thinking about it, but processor is too slow and bezels looks crap so I bought S24+ 512GB for 950€ and Tab A9 Wi-FI 4/64GB as Samsung gift. Samsung A55 costs 550€ here where I live so even though S24+ was little bit less than double of price it still a lot faster, looks better, and I got OK tablet as gift.
If you don’t play games, and don’t edit 4K videos, you literally will not care
Plus, the basil aren’t that bad at all for the price
I mean here in America it’s a bit cheaper to get the a 55 compared to the S 24 so I’m just gonna get the 35 as it performs nearly the same
