The year is 1917, and Young Indiana Jones working in The French Embassy in Russia, is about to take on a perilous assignment. His mission is to escort 2 princes to Vienna, for a secret meeting which could put an early end to World War One. But the intrigue ahead is just the beginning of Chapter 13: “Adventures in the Secret Service!”
When I first started watching this series I thought it would be rather "hokey", but is a thoroughly enjoyable work of complete and unlikely fiction. Was totally surprised when Flanery showed up in the "Boondock Saints" films. didn't even recognize him at first. There is/was talk about a third "Saints" in the works.
how many Star Wars quotes have people found just in this episode alone? So far I've counted 4. 'I've got a bad feeling about this', 'the sewer was a great idea, what an incredible smell you've discovered.' 'then the fur is really going to fly!' and "I'll think of soumething..." interestingly enough 3 out of 4 of those quotes are from Han solo, (Harrison Ford)
Christopher Lee was an amazing man and his feats put Chuck Norris very much in the shade...! Whilst fighting in a war, he sustained an injury that he stitched up himself and from what I understand; carried on until such a time that he could leave the battlefield unopposed...!
I'd start sprouting jibberish making out I was drunk to the old lady who joined them then she would have left leaving them to discuss their plans alone for a wile lol
Hand held sub-machine guns weren't in general use or available at this point in time. Mostly all developed Post WWI . Lucas should've known better. (around 35:37). The Germans has a pistol type in late 1918, but were few and used in front lines
the pistol the agent is using is the mauser c96 automatic pistol. first made in 1896 it was quite common among wealthy German and Austrian officers en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauser_C96 germany ordered almost 150,000 while austria ordered 50,000
How did that work out for you and the people, Lennon? One of the richest countries on the planet with the largest number of poor people on the planet. No freedom of speech, No freedom of travel, No freedom to make life choices.
Honestly this series deserved to be a big hit. Ironically the good stuff George Lucas made gets ignored while we focus on the bad stuff.
No cap
Yeah like "Howard the Duck". Seriously.
So true
They should show it it Grade School and high School . I've watched the entire series thrice over a span of 5 years and never tire of it.
@elizabethtan1807
That's great ! Young indy is very good movies !
These Indie Chronicles are so valuable and truthful even more in 2024. The Capitalist will never give up on humanity's Slavery to profit.
Ah Yes Christopher Lee Plays A Count Once Again
LOL, so true!
The scenes are so well suited for this film, a mixture of old serenity and grey misery. The cinematography is poetic! Thanks for posting these!

That was the last king and queen of Austria 🇦🇹 😮
Like Czar Nicholas, he would have preferred to be a gardener
Amazing!

@@JCfromDC2 that would be sad because Sean Patrick Flanery character died in the second, didn’t he?
I love the opening music score in this episode. I can't get it out of my head.
I love ❤️ the young India Jones Chronicles 👙🇫🇷

I see palpatine, Dooku and yes Han Solo in this series.
Had to laugh when their last stop before switzerland came up. Lustenau trainstation😂😂. And the hills behind the train. It's flat as Hell there.
Thank you 🤩🤩🤩💖💖
The blood that could be spared if this deal wasn't betrayed by power seeking politicians
Money seeking people these days usually with Dual citizenship to a country beginning with I.
...and the 2nd world War may have been averted, too.
Two words. Christopher Lee.
Two more words, Joss Ackland 😉👍
The actress who played Irene was lovely.
21:28 I got a bad feeling about this😁
24:23 Isn’t that Christopher Lee who played Count Dooku from Star Wars?
It is indeed!
He's also the actor of Saruman from The Lord of the Rings.
Yessir
Also got the guy who voices Neptune
Christopher Lee was an amazing man and his feats put Chuck Norris very much in the shade...! Whilst fighting in a war, he sustained an injury that he stitched up himself and from what I understand; carried on until such a time that he could leave the battlefield unopposed...!
They never explained what Joss Acklands character was supposed to be.
I think he was the secret police of Germany.
Gloss bless the Tsar!
Looks like Vincent Price and Roger Moore in this one.
16/200 😎 cool 👍🏻
Indi got a surprise birthday party by the communist party...
Jeez that was pretty sad
Lucas rules!
27:15 I mean it crumbled either way

secret is the correct spelling.

Fix the title for this video please
Not sure what a Bugatti 35's doing in WW1 (3:45) as they weren't made until 1924. Given the overall effort these lazy errors are annoying.
