It only took a couple minutes (less actually, but I held on a bit) to determine that the acting is less than mediocre, as well as the story.
Not gonna win an Oscar but I found it entertaining. Don't understand why people are trashing it so badly. Most note the acting but I don't agree. I thought the characters were interesting and believable. The only thing I found odd was Stacey, the old man's sister seemed to slip back and forth between British and American accents and while her brother George, the deceased, sounded 100% American.
I enjoyed it to the end and I didn't know "who done it" till it was revealed so that was good. I usually read the comments first and if they are bad I skip. But for some reason I didn't read the comments before and glad I didn't. Overall above average for a free movie on YT. Give it a look and make up your own mind.
What on earth was Katharine wearing? That white dress looked like it was 2 sizes too small for her.
One of those movies you keep watching waiting for it to get better cause you got nothing better to do and you realize anything would have been better to do.

I wish it weren't so fast paced! The story moves so incredibly quickly, it's hard to keep up! They really needed a director who could slow it down a little. And don't even get me started on the brilliant dialogue and subtle, but stellar, acting! No one could ever describe this as a stupid waste of time.

I liked, though I wouldn't ever say it was riveting. It would have been better if there was a real surprise. I suspected the real killer when he started feeling out Nadia's memory. I liked the mood and setting and the lawyers acting was good.

Totally enjoyed this movie, but no need for the bad language. Kept me on my toes. Every time I thought I had it figured out, another twist.
A lot of these old English low key films are what we called the B Movie. The one put on before the Main attraction with the big names. I was shocked when they stopped making these and only gave us one film. Cheap skates.

This was so good, it’s sad her dad was gaslighting her like that. Had her thinking she was crazy, all to keep her from exposing him, knowing she knew the truth! The ending was beautiful though, imagine a cousin blessing you like that! Pure hearts literally do pure things ❤

At least she's not harping on about a few swear words like half the comments are doing. That's useless. This one though is just a plot summary which IS helpful bc without a real title we can't search one online. It tells us the type of plot.

The entire movie is about a rich mans family sitting around with his lawyer at the reading of his will, speculating on which one of them may, or may not have killed his unappreciative sleaze bag adopted daughter . Pretty boring stuff imo
It was a who-done-it movie. Simple as that. Like most B movies it is entertaining and kept you guessing. What more would one want? How many B movies have we read science and so many other things... are not correct? Still we find them here free and most do the job of entertaining.
Judging morality in a movie not meant about a moral family, yet a kind of moral ending.... makes your claim less valid. Even the cussing was far from terrible. No blood or gore and basically like old B movies what is called Film-Noir and acting was fine for what it is for a entertaining WHO-DONE-IT.

Good movie until they started with the F word that seems so prevalent in today's movie, plus one GD. I was too into the movie to turn it off.
It is not billed as put out as a religious moral movie. It was not extreme in bad words and no taking as they say.... the Lord's Name in vain in it. It has aspects of morals especially the 2 youngest and a moral ending of good won and evil got its reward in this life. I did not hear even the one GD. Far from extreme anyway.
I would say seek movies put out as with knowing it will have no foul language and moral characters. Still this move had 2 young moral characters and a ending of high morals and Good won and evil got its reward in this life. Also NO blood or gore one gun shot person really is mild and a traditional Film-Noir movie like the old ones even if some believe not the top actors. I was entertained not knowing who-done-it and as a Christian not extreme It was fine and entertaining.

I would avoid B movies if very high standards is ones expectation vs just a who-done-it of a dysfunctional wealthy family. Not a moral one, but having some good moral aspects of at least the young ones and moral ending.

I like "foul" language because it's realistic. Words don't have magical powers. We have control of and over the language that we have created. We control words so don't let them control you. It just doesn't make sense to be afraid of words.

This is a Beautifully done independent movie❤ They had a good budget that was utilized very well.
Good acting from the shrink/politcian guy. He did an excellent death scene. The rest of the movie? Meh.

The acting in this movie was the real curse. Followed closely by the plot. Really, has anyone ever seen a Polaroid capture a viable image under such poor conditions? Much less to be able to zoom in and identify a reflection in a mirror, in the background? After 10 years? They really don't produce archival quality, you know. I wish I would have given it a pass. 4 thumbs down, and I don't have that many thumbs.
