    I purchased the TMA37C About 3 ½ years ago and it’s still running strong. I agree it’s the best value for any tripod under $500 anywhere. I’ve recently upgraded to a ProMediaGear and you can definitely see the difference in the details, but there’s still several years of tough outdoor ‘tripodding” left in my old Benro. It’s also a good backup for the unspeakable

      Excellent to hear that, I do love my Benro tripod and geared head so glad to see someone else having had it for a number of years using it and giving the thumbs up.

      @@kaydendangelo3843 what has this got to do with this video?

    A better idea than hanging a bag from it, is to use a couple of tent pegs in the ground and use a bungie cord to hold it down in strong winds, a bag will swing.

      Did I not mention that in the video.

      that's an awesome tip! def going to try that. i already use a small umbrella to block wind

    Hi Mark, can you unscrew the little loop for the carry sling in the spider and use that as an accessory port?

      Hi Annette, you can unscrew the carry sling

    Congrats on your new Benro, Ian! I have the Benro carbon fiber C373T, the one with a 75mm bowl. Oh, just a warning, those bottom ends which you can unscrew to put the spikes in can somehow wind up coming off. I lost one out in the yard and had to scrounge around for hours trying to find it (lol). Make sure those end things are tight when out and about and you're good to go. :)

    Nice one Ian, thanks for this vid. The aluminum version looks right up my price range haha, I need a new one soon and this could be the pick.

      Thx Paul, I am using it right now in the garden doing astrophotography with my new star adventurer pro on it and a 100-400mm lens on my canon m6 mkii and it is solid as a rock with all that gear on it not forgetting a counter weight as well. so well worth the buy. The steel version is incredibly tall and cheaper but a bit heavier.

    Snap I have the 055 CF also. It’s hardly been used though as I have a BeFree which is my regular carry. Though a bit too light. That Benro seems to be a good middle ground between the two I have. Will definitely consider it if I break one of my current tripods.

      I highly recommend the benro, it is really light in comparison to my manfrotto carbon fibre tripod and better built by a long shot. I have enjoyed the Manfrotto but it does get week at the joints and you cannot tighten them up, so it was time to try a different brand, after researching for months it seemed a no brainer to choose the Benro mach 3

    How is this tripod going now, 1.5 years later? Thinking of getting it to use with a benro gimbal for birding photography.

    • @ironian24
      @ironian24  Před 2 lety +1

      Wow has it been that long already, well it is still in perfect working order and just as good as the day I bought it, I also use a gimbal on it for the macloop jets, birds and it works just great, well worth the money for sure.
      I have to say as I am writing this at the top of a mountain waiting for jets to come through the macloop, I am using my benro tripod now.

      I spotted this too. I suspect the video picture has been inverted. Either that or IR Photo-Tours have been sent one with everything left-hand threaded including the central column lock!
