- Joe Burrow passed for 393 yards and three touchdowns and No. 1 LSU snapped an eight-game losing streak to No. 2 Alabama with a 46-41 victory Saturday.
The Tigers (9-0, 5-0 Southeastern Conference, No. 2 CFP) are no longer second fiddle in the SEC West, or maybe in the playoff rankings. And Burrow stamped himself as the Heisman Trophy front-runner with a gutty performance when he answered every challenge from 'Bama.

People all over the world whether you realize it or not, Joe Burrow has put up phenomenal numbers and already has broken a lot of quarterback, LSU, and SEC records and we still have three SEC games left to play. LSU wins out and goes and wins the SEC Championship, and then wins in the playoffs, and then wins the National Championship, Joe Burrow will set more records and they will stand most probably for a lifetime. Joe is without a doubt the best quarterback in LSU history. Imagine what his stats would be if they implemented this offense last year. I so hope we get to play and beat the heck out of Ohio State for the National Championship, it would be great for Joe to beat the team that benched him, and win the National Championship. Joe is the most humble star quarterback in all of college football. Joe is such a Great role model for everybody, kids and adults. We are so blessed to have Joe representing LSU. Both teams played as if this was a national championship. Coming from an Auburn fan, that was a great game on both sides. LSU got the edge earlier, capitalized on Alabama's errors, and the Offeanse kept momentum when Alabama's offensive flame finally lit uo on the LSU defense. Hopefully Bama gets in. I know they took a loss, but they proved themselves just as much as LSU dis that they are a playoff team.
Playoff teams don't give up 46 points at home!
@@darryllovett5311 Alabama doesn't have the elite defense people are use to them having. On top of that, LSU is one of the elite offenses in college football. They will probably be ranked 2 or 3 at the very least.

Yes LSU is the better team, and if you want to blame miscues/turnovers, let me remind you that LSU made mistakes too... let Waddle take it to the house on a missed tackle, Joe Burrow did throw an INT(or call it a fumble) in the redzone, 2 times Stingley got beat(Once he wasn't paying attention and was caught flat footed not paying attention, the other was horrible defense of call by LSU at the end of the game). It's always easy for the fan of a losing team to say shoulda, woulda, coulda...but bottoms line Bama took that L and was lucky the score was only a 5 point difference. It was 33 to 13 at half and IMO LSU played a little sloppy and conservative to start the 2nd half.
