You guys don't even know how thankful I am that you're reviewing this steaming pile of cinema magic.
Yes! My thoughts exactly lol
"Jimmy John Jackson" is the kind of name Vince McMahon would have come up with in the early 90s.
Ron Moss (Cheeks) was in the band Player, whose major hit was "Baby Come Back“ in 1978. He also played Ridge in "The Bold and the Beautiful" (the daytime soap) until a few years ago.
The football TV stuff is all a super meta reference to the fact that Sidaris directed NFL Monday Night Football for years
I lost it when that guy started shooting at the snake while shouting "Go away!"
Hey guys, Andy Sidaris is known for making bad movies with massive amounts of nudity. He has a couple of movies with Dona Speir [who plays Donna in this movie] in them. Ronn Moss [who plays Rowdy in this movie], used to be on the TV soap opera "Bold & The Beautiful [back in 1987] He also used to be the bass player & singer for the 1970's pop band "Player" [who had a top 10 hit called "Baby Come Back"] Anyways these movies by Andy Sidaris were all pretty bad, as far as acting. He's known for having big breasted women getting naked in most of his movies. I remember his movie "Malibu Express" where there was a lot of female nudity in it and his movie "Seven" which had 70's TV actress Barbara Leigh in it naked. Anyways, you really can't expect quality from an Sidaris movie, just a lot of cheesy dialogue and naked women. Andy Sidaris died in 2007. His son, Christian Drew Sidaris directed more types of these movies, like "The Dallas Connection" in 1994.
Girls, Guns and G-strings!
These were fun movies, and I as a woman appreciated the presence of beefcake in the flicks, to balance out the cheesecake. Ronn Moss is a beautiful man, and who doesn't sing along to "Baby Come BACK!" when it comes on the radio. Arlene Sidaris, Andy's wife and co-producer, can be thanked for ensuring that the beautiful heroines were also strong, and the macho heroes were also hot!
He was in a band?? I remember him vividly from my soap opera phase in college lol. (Late classes, no cable.) His face got sharper with age on that soap. Thanks for all the info 😙
Your room seems too hot for this discussion. You'd do your best thinking, topless in the jacuzzi.
FUN FACT: Cheeks McFlophair had a #1 hit song that you'd instantly recognize, if you heard it ("Baby Come Back" by Player).
That's on my wife's favorites list, so I hear it all the time. Now I will never hear it again the same way and I am grateful. I owe you one.
Merch idea: Posable Kyle figure with kerobics action and matching jumpsuit and posable Bryan with Neil Breen denim badge vest with government hacking action.
"diplomatic immuniteeeeeh"
The guy who plays rowdy is one of the main actors in the bold and the beautiful. My mom used to watch soap operas all the time when I was growing up and I would know him anywhere.
It's been a while since you guys watched a great bad movie. Hard Ticket to Hawaii is one of my favorites - it truly does have it all.
YEARS ago me and a friend found the skateboard/blow-up doll/bazooka scene on CZcams completely out of context. Fast forward a few years and we found what film it was from. It was crazy to see what insane movie that absolutely amazing asanine scene came from.
You should have way more subscribers.
I subbed around 6k (but watched since about 4.5k) , they're growing super fast
They’re almost to 10,000. Our baby boys are growing fast!
Thank you for doing this review and talking about Malibu Express because it finally answered the question of what that soft core movie was that I saw on Telemundo when I was a kid.
I love that the guard with the shades is called Shades, and the guy on the skateboard is called Skater. 😆 Clearly a case of 'I'll come up with actual names for them later,' and then they just never did. 😂
Another funny part was before he throws the frisbee, and he looks back at the that girl and was like “hey Linda , nice ass “ . It was pure magic .
Great reviews, Mr. Brian and Kyle
I don't think you guys have reviewed a bad animated film yet.
oMG YES! they so need to
I have some suggestions since they are currently looking for some
Elf Bowling
Foodfight
Dingo Pictures
Norm of the North
The Christmas Tree
Die - Hearts Foodfight and Norm are a pain to sit through, but all of my yes for Elf Bowling!
Yeah, but imagine Brian and Kyle reviewing it
Maybe the one with Sean Connery called Sir Billi which was the Scotland's first cgi film and Sean's last film after League of Extraordinary Gentleman.
FYI the ADR also bad in French.
I love this movie it's so funny stupid.
Definitely a must see.
The song on loop thru the credits is an absolute 80's gem of an earworm
Oh yeah, a classic! Also you forgot "Friends" from Miami Connection in your best worst songs.
One of your best yet. If I recall correctly, this was a pilot for several episodes, thus the multiple plots.
In the right hands, nunchucks are *extremely dangerous*
"That snake has been infected by deadly toxins from cancer infested rats" - Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987)
Not all that convoluted when you consider -
"There is now a retroviral epidemic after some guy accidentally cut his finger while chopping up chimp bushmeat" - Reality (1985)
"The entire world must stay inside because the plague's back due to someone eating a pangolin" - Reality (2020)
You're almost at 10.000! Congratulations guys!
Should be at least a million.
Luka Lapadat agreed
These girls were clearly hired for their acting abilities.
Finally! This film is just bonkers. Please review Raw Force (AKA Kung Fu Cannibals) next.
Imagine all of the time Bryan would spend editing on that one, hahaha
The whole thing would by Kyle's face!!!
After some time, coming back to this golden episode!
U guys are literally epic, such hilarious and awesome content
Keep it up
The best dynamic duo on CZcams 😜
I'm topless in a jacuzzi right now. And I'm in my cubicle at work.
Wait, what about "Friends Forever" and "Against The Ninja"? Are they not good enough for your list of best good bad movie songs?
I legitimately listen to "Against The Ninja" all the time. It's so catchy.
Also forgetting "We Live to Rock" from Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare.
They never reviewed Miami Connection.
That black haired ponytail guy is in killing american style
My guess for the ‘blowup doll scene’ was that it was an excuse for killing someone with a rocket launcher. Just because something can be done, it doesn’t mean it SHOULD be done.
I've seen clips from the movie only in that first BOTW before, never noticed one of the guys is the main guy from Killing American Style by legendary Armin Sheverevrevan.
I look forward to your uploads every time; they never disappoint!
Don't worry, Kyle. Bryan is right about the rocket launcher.
Hopefully the movie wasn't aware of that, because if so that would mean it's supposed to be a guided missile launcher. I'm not sure how a missile launcher would lock on to a blow-up doll.
When I was a kid, we had a Walkman that was that same "SPORTS" brand of the 80's video camera. So I'm fairly sure it was an actual product and that was actually a product placement.
Found you guys recently. Watched while under the influence. Laughed so hard during the long butt discussion I almost wet myself.
Like this if you guys agree Bryan and Kyle's head should be used more often to Censor things.
26:32 every time i hear "Vince McMahon" i think it's Ed McMahon and then i grt really confused for a sexond. Like, "ehy was the cohost of Star Search riffing out action-movie one-liners?" Lol
Finally.. ive been blessed. I refresh everyday for this
Great use of "Superman".
This movie and malibou express are both fun to watch
Your subscriber base has doubled since I found you guys! Keep up the hard work!
Let's Go should be in everything.
ESPECIALLY during a sex scene.
Dammit, that movie theme song is stuck in my head.
LOL. That yellow Sony Sports Handycam the girl used instead of binoculars definitely wouldn't have had a great optical zoom but those things were pretty cool back then. They came in a variety of different price ranges. She's using the cheapest one, but they had some that were high-end consumer-grade as well. It would shoot Video 8 and claimed to be waterproof. It was basically the "GoPro" of the late 80s.
You gotta review 'Werewolves of the Third Reich'. Yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. It appears the filmmaker was 'trying' and it wasn't a Sharknado bad on purpose movie. They were definitely trying to make Inglorious Bastards with werewolves.
GOOOOOoooodd I wish your sleepwalkers review didn’t get copyrighted. I would’ve loved to see that
Please please review Taking Earth for the next review! It WAS my birthday request. 😉
(It's on Netflix too everyone!)
That's a great idea, that movie looks epic.
neoslasher09 it's a ride alright, it's on Netflix, if you watch it. Let me know xD
Dude, I just watched that movie and it was, in short, an absolute masterpiece.
neoslasher09 thank you! Haha, we gotta get them to watch it! Let them know on twitter so they can see we need them to review it next!
The Avenging Disco Godfather next, guys. You won’t regret it.
Put yo’ weight on it!
seen this movie eight times, every time with a different group and every damn time it was amazing :D :D great review as always guys^^
I did not know Andy Sidaris existed before seeing this video. And I certainly didn't stay up late to watch his movies on Cinemax. I never saw Hard Ticket To Hawaii, Picasso Trigger, Do Or Die, Fit To Kill, or Hard Hunted.
No teenage boys back in the late '80s-early '90s watched them. Not me. Never.
This was a fun episode
Although I really liked the Tiptoes and Sleepwalkers reviews, so I'm glad you both went through the pain for all of us haha
I once sat down and watched Andy Sidaris' entire filmography and the insane part, is they're all connected... it's all one series and it's all just so insane and stupid.
he couldn't get his prototype version of VIP bought by anyone on TV in the 70s so he just made a string of 'pilot episode' films.
So... no one has yet to talk about this.
But Skater, the guy in the blue shirt and gets blown up, is played by Russell Howell, who is apparently a really big deal in the free style skate boarding community and held the world record for longest hand stand on a skateboard and the most spins in one minute.
My number 3 good bad movie of all time! Lots of laughs!
I loved watching Andy Sidaris movies at 3:20am on Cinemax. 😂 Gratuitous nudity aside, these were great B movies! The women were smart, competent, and always got the bad guy. Usually without twisting an ankle and a man running in to save the day. 👍🏾 If you think the theme song from this movie was a bop, wait until you hear Edy sing "Another In Paradise" in Hard Hunted. 🤣
I think this is a top ten movie of all time. How dare you make fun of this, you turkey.
Hell yeah another episode
This day going to be great 😎
21:54 I think Kyle meant Fateful Findings, because that's obviously where that's from.
MORTAL KOMBAT ANNIHILATION 👍🏼🙏🏽😎 come on guys it’s got to happen please guys lol
I thought they did this already, but our was the Bad Movie Reviews guy. I'm sure this will be better. These guys are awesome.
Those singing skillz 👏 Also, as somebody mentioned before, "Against the ninja/friends forever" from Miami Cnnection is a hit! 😀
I first heard about this movie when it was reviewed on "Welcome to the Basement"
P.s. - the Vince McMahon reference about horrible one liners could be referring to the hysterically awful lines WWE keeps making their wrestlers say, they arnt allowed to improv anymore. They made their top guy cut a promo where while trying to talk smack to another guy, says "you are a sniveling little suck up full of sufferin succotash son"
Boreman Lames sucks
You guys, no. Why wouldn't you chuck nunchucks? It's in the name.
You guys should review the guyver( 1991 ) movie, its got everything you could want: Rapping kid appeal monsters, mark hamill with a pornstache and gory especial effects
Also guys, "House of the Dead" is still out there, waiting to be made fun of!!
That movie was beyond 'Bad Bad'. I'd rather watch them do 'Thankskilling' again than that pile of garb...nope, that would be an insult to garbage.
its been done
I'm disappointed you guys didn't talk about the line" One man's dream is another man's lunch".
Some rockets have tracking. That's why there's defenses for them in aircraft, including commercial ones in certain places.
Holy crap, my recommendation!! Time to drop everything I'm doing.
A movie suggestion: The Last Vampire on Earth (2010). RLM already did it, but it's so incredibly bad it's amazing.
The guy with the sunglasses who says (cancer infested rats) 🤔🤷♂️ He kind of sounds like the investigator with the funny voice from the movie zombie nightmare the one who says drug induced suicide from being impaled with a baseball bat 🤣 it sounds like the same actor lol
Oh yuss, weekend already rocks!
haha dude you better say that to Katie as your wedding vows.
Nunchucks, The movie
You want a theme song? Review Curse of the Wolf.
This movie and Malibu Express are coming out on blu ray from Mill Creek - the sign of quality. ;-)
Ridge?
MalindaPC Yep. Ridge from the Bold & the Beautiful.
Holy shit I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed Ron "Ridge" Moss was in this, also you know he was in a band - hilarious.
Harrison Sanchez yes ☺️ Player wasn’t it?
In their music video (watch?v=Hn-enjcgV1o), Ridge has some glorious hair and... blouse? Jumpsuit? Muumuu? Upside-down parachute pants? His outfit is beyond my understanding. Help.
I was hoping I wasn't the only person who knew that tidbit.
Andy Sidaris the director was actually a pretty nice guy helped Dona Speir who play Donna with her problem with alcohol in fact she admitted she was intoxicated for most of the shoot for this movie Andy Sidaris and his wife made sure when she came back for the sequel that a driver was available at all times to take her to an AA meeting if she needed one
Love your show as always guys....................................................................still waiting on you to do Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai though!
Cheeks McFlophair = Ridge Forrester. Everyones mother knows him...
I love you guys !!!
Quite possibly the best review ever . . . have y’all ever thought of doing a review whilst lounging in a hot tub?
Such a great film.
Howling 7!!!!! Please & Thank you!
I come from 2020. Enjoy the Careless Whisper and Enya moments because they are gone
Rocket Launcher Vs. Contaminated Snake
this is a great movie. If you loved this, you need to watch Lady Terminator. No other movie in cinema history has a better Good Bad editing job. Just trust me.
Holy crap! I was only thinking about asking you to do this movie a couple of days ago!
Psst! A bullet from a pistol travels an average of 750 FEET per second. Which is actually slower than than 295 METERS per second. 😉
Im sorry guys but no best theme song list is complete without the theme to the 1968 movie "Green Slime" LOL
You guys have to GB or BB "Malibu Express". I'm almost certain it's the first movie in this universe. Same yacht name and character names!
....probably should have watched the entire review before commenting....
You rapid me last night. That was last night. Damn is that Weinsten?
Let's go? What movie is that from? Also no "Snakes of a plane" references?
"Let's Go" is a song that plays during a montage scene in "Ben and Arthur" which I believe is the third episode of Good Bad or Bad Bad
DJ Elfin Much obliged. I forgot. 😅
I think also in the movie tiptoes the last scene cuts to the credits and the song that plays during the credits goes "let's go!", I won't spoil you why this would be any funny tho cause this movie's ending is really whacky
On point with another Friday morning upload. Keep it up guys! Take a look at Stasis (2017) next, it's one of a kind.
almost 10k boyyyysssss
Bruce lee would be proud of he way they used tho's numchucks lol
Another great bad movie song: "You're the Devil's Spawn" from Hack-O-Lantern. (Which I know thanks to RLM).
LETS GO
Ya about Malibu Express, this guy actual made a bunch of movies of the same grade and a box set was put together and released called Gun, Girls and G-strings ..suprise(if you havent already figured it out) I actually bough it after watching the trailer for Hard Ticket to Hawaii on youtube. Most of those 12 movies have the same 2 blonde grils with a bunch of returning playmates and mildly know actors like Eric Estrada and Pat Morita (yup Mr Miyagi making out with a playmate) and they are all as awfully crappy as this one. I apologize in advance if someone said the exact same thing...but theres just too much to read here to confirm it and life is short.
