Just bought this model batman on an oyster bracelet & really love it. I’m really glad I went with the oyster over the jubilee. It very much suits the batman more I believe.
Jubilee is nicknamed batgirl for a reason... just looks alot more fem
Totally agree. Oyster bracelet has a very balanced look with the watch.
This is by Far, the Best ever made Rolex GMT Master 2 of All Time! Masterpiece Beauty!
Yawn, oyster PCL makes it look like a generic sub IMO
3rd best
@@michaelbishop9157 what’s the best? In your opinion!
@@simonassouline45 For me I think Pepsi is king but I also love the understated nature of the original116710LN which would be my choice
Oyster Pepsi is much better. Which is why it’s harder to get and resales much higher.
This Watch is a timepiece that I would love to own. I personally own a Casio MCW-200H and a Wittnauer 1970s calendar watch, but this would be perfect for my collection.
Got the Pepsi this past September,, love it, and would love to get one of these.
Does anyone know if a modern sub bracelet will fit the GMT? I'm not a fan of the polished centre links.
I so prefer this to the Batgirl . . .
what does the extra digits at the end of the watch mean. like one i was looking at buying was 126710BLNR-0003
a very nice watch to buy at retail, a keeper
If you can’t afford it just say that.
Tim great content as always.
Just wish you could put the watches on a bigger wrist to get a big man's prospective .
😉
great video. the '21 Batman on the oyster is the way to go. Didn't know you guys were HQ'd in Bala Cynwyd. May reach out to you soon.
Always wondered if the 116710blnr is any dif than the 126710blnr in terms of look other than the new upgraded movement
great watch for its retail price. if you can get it for that price
Perfect for the jubilee!
I agree. The jubilee makes it unique vs looking like a more common sub
Finally I got mine after a wait period of over 2.5 years.. 😘
Me too! Congrats
I got a call from AD to pick it up but in oyster, i wanted jubilee, what should i do
I've got one they are gorgeous.
Can you buy 1 for me? I will give you a tight hug.
How big is the scratch problem on the polished oyster links? Vs Submariner which is brushed look
If you care about scratches, a huge problem lol. It’s a scratch magnet. Jubilee is a better option if that bothers you, since it’s much harder to see the scratches on there
I own this watch. It is a great daily. Stands out, but not too much. Great balance all around.
How much is it?
@@ruds908 $21k
@@Diirk that’s the grey market price. Retail price is ~$10.9k I think?
@@ticktology Yes I think so
@@ticktology 9,700
this looks better in person.
May I ask is bracelet the same as old Batman or has it been increased like the new 41 submariner?
It is the same (20mm)
@@Utoob8 cool, think new sub 41 is 21mm
@@airkingben correct
Can someone tell me if there is always the Rolex crown engraved on the glass please ? On mine there isn’t
if its old then there isnt
My wrist is 20cm, would this watch fit?
I get mine on 2th july. So a nice watch!!!
Wats retail for it??
@@ebenezeradjei6587 8900 €
So does the Oyster Bracelet on this model not have the sliding adjustment clasp like on the Submariner?? You have to use an adjustment tool?
@Pat Johnson Thanks Pat :)
@Pat Johnson Thanks Pat :)
Why it's black and blue instead only black full black bezel suit Batman I think why it's blue can anyone explain
Why do you always give different dimensions for the same watches? Every time you make a GMT video, the size of the case dimension changes
I bought the Jubilee version, "Batgirl" big mistake. Ended up fitting an oyster, it's much more the part. I do however have a couple of gripes. I also own a 16710, black, and a 1675 pepsi, both have a red second hour hand, much easier to see, I find the blue hand to be rather less legible. Also, I prefer the more shapely, slimmer lugs of the earlier models. I think the GMT has become somewhat androgynous, with it's larger crown and shoulders, it's almost a Submariner by proxy, it certainly wears like one. After all, at the end of the day, it's an aviation watch, not a dive watch.
I own the Batman and I actually like the batgirl a lot
I wanted a GMT-II. In the last few months I've been lucky to see both the Pepsi and Batman up-close on wrists. The Pepsi was stunning it could stop traffic - it shouted 'Money'. The Batman was so quietly refined and whispered 'wealth'. Their respective owners personalities were quite the same. Knew which one I wanted ;)
Which one!?
Go for whatever sings to you, but don’t judge people based on what they wear :)
@@Utoob8the jubilee bracelet sings to me 😉
Went for the Batman on Jubilee aka the Batgirl. Its stunning. I’m sure when I’ve saved up again I’ll eventually get a Pepsi. Even though they are exactly the same you get two very different looks depending on your mood!
@@TheMikeijay Very true, they’re so similar yet so different. Congrats on the watch, wear it in good health.
Some differences between 2017 and newest 2023 model?
Yes
I love this watch and I'd email you but I own a 2022! Ha!
Never heard of it or seen this watch, I predict they'll sell well....
You must have been living on Mars!!😂😂😂😂😂
@@src2251 That was a joke
@@Extys 😂😂👍🏴🍻😉
Or living on the dark side of the moon
reunited and it feels so good 🎼🎼🎼
Nice watch. I do like my Seiko Spring Drive better though.
Hope my AD comes through on this piece 🥺
Let the haters hate...😁. Amazing watch but at retail price.
Much prefer the new Jubilee on this watch. Like you said, this is a pilot’s watch and the Jubilee fits that much better. Oyster bracelet makes it look like a Sub - nothing too special and kinda boring imo
jubilee strap pls. Next.
Look at that Tim is trying to sell Mike Manjo's personal watch ;)
I'd take the black bezel, looks cleaner.
So many fakes being made on black tho
@@user-xb6dl5in1d So? It's discontinued but tbh I don't like the GMT. The Pepsi is the most historical one and feels better than than the Batman. Rather buy an Explorer 2.
So this is the “Bruce Wayne?”
No it’s the Batman. The bruce Wayne is on jubilee
No, the "bruce wayne" is the bat girl, this one is the batman. Bat girl, thats the official unofficial name despite what some people say lol, I'll give them that I would try and change the name too
@@jean-claudebeaver6614 I thought Batman was older movement on oyster, Batgirl was older movement on Jubilee, and this one Bruce Wayne. Guess I need to brush up.
I’m buying this watch, I’ll be back for this comment when I do
How to get one at MSRP without the AD nonsense...
By praying to Allah swt
almost impossible lol
I just got a call for this watch a week ago at Tourneau. I have gotten a hulk from them and a Datejust 41 as well. This is the trick.
Step 1: call the AD
Step 2 : get the sales person cell
Step 3 : Text and thank them for the call and being open to working with you
Step 4: go the AD and bring a gift. Scotch, wine , something.
Step 5: stay in touch and make it clear what you want.
Step 6: text your sales guy on holidays wishing them well and stay in touch.
The point is the stay on their radar so when the shipment comes they think of you. You have to be at the forefront of their mind at all times.
I bought one of these after waiting for 2 years with an AD and I couldn't wear it at all, not even once. Now I feel like it was a waste of money and I am happy with my Tissot.
Aside from the name and the harder stainless steel they use, aren't there other brands that are just as good, or better for a fraction of the cost? Beautiful watch nonetheless!
Got it, hate it. Trading it for a Pepsi
Too expensive on grey market. And it's not the 126... but the 116...
@Pat Johnson you're right. I didn't know they re introduced the oyster bracelet. I prefer it because it's more sport
It’s ok I guess
Yes, it is okay. hehe
Not bad 🤜

WOW 20k for a massed produced Sports Watch by a company built on Marketing and Hype...SMH. If I'm going to drop 20k I'm going VC, Glasshute, or ALS.
Lol you don't know horology
@@bdegrds there is a difference between horological and greed. Rolex flippers only know the latter.
I think ALS sports is 60k though
@@donnylee2175 Yeah the Odyssesus which is their sports model is around 60k on a leather strap. About 62/63k on a SS bracelet.
