I love, love my Travel Scoot, but I have one question. Why not have two drive wheels, as it is difficult at time to make a left turn. I learned how the first day I had mine. Thank you

|is it worth greasing (dielectric/lithium) the wire that enters the motor drive - i'm tempted as the wire seems exposed to the elements

It is not necessary to lubricate the weather-tight, 9-pin connection from the controller to the motor. The pins are gold-plated, so they are corrosion resistant.
However, as the connector halves fit very tightly, it may be helpful to apply a little lube. Please don't overdo, since heavy grease attracts dirt.
