I plan to do updates often! - Jak na to + styl
Update!!: Since this day, I have altered the steps of my routine. If you watch my series of videos you will be updated completely with explanations for each change❤
Changes I’ve made as of 10/10/23
- no longer spray my hair with aloe Vera juice throughout week, I only spray on retwist day
- I now use Shea butter in addition Castor oil, eco gel (for my ends, but flaxseed gel is better) and aloe juice
- I wash once weekly
- I retwist once weekly
- I deep condition once weekly
- I now use Shea moisture manuka homey intensive hydration shampoo and masque (both are moisturizing and nonstripping whatsoever)
😊
* Also, my edges are no longer relaxed lol , I’m done with the creamy crack💕😌
Do you put any essential oils or carrier oils with your aloe vera juice.? Or is it just straight up aloe vera juice?
Wow you have the most beautiful eyebrows 😢❤❤
I appreciate your video a lot. Thanks
You are welcome! 💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing your hair is beautiful. I’m going to try this ❤
No problem. I will be starting my length retention 2024 challenge on new years, you should join ❤️
Excited for the new journey 🤩♥️
Yay! Thank you!❤❤❤❤ this is the routine that will give me what I want, finally
Welcome back!!!!
Hey thanks for the welcome 🤗
I'm 5 months in. Mini braids(8 weeks at a time) with small crystal beads on the ends to avoid single strand knots (nothing else has kept them away other than keeping my hair off my shoulders and tucked away). I'll see if I want to go past August 2024 (1 year) once it gets here. I had a love/hate relationship with the minis in October. Back on track now.... do well!!
Hello there. Where do you get the crystal beads for your hair ends please? 🙏🏾.
I am looking for a solution for my SSK
Hey !! Nice consistency ❤️❤️❤️ for me the gel on my ends and end tucking, never letting my ends touch my clothes was the solution for me. I tried mini braids a long time ago, but I really disliked the time commitment. Glad to hear you are back on track 😁😁😁❤️
You’ve inspired me! I love toriana as well! I may do this regime at the start of 2024!
Thank you 😊 !! I will be starting the challenge officially on my channel hopefully on new years ☺️☺️☺️🎊
oH YAY!!! @@hintofjay
@@CoilyCodeNice to see you over here 🙂 I was thinking the same after your 3 month challenge (or maybe start during Headwrap month)
@@hintofjayI plan on joining 🙂
@@dariapio1502 yayyy ❤️😊🌻
Thank you i did a bob cut and now doing mini twist and my front peace at the top of my lip so thank you it hard finding ppl with our length
Awesome !! Glad you started your journey and the lip landmark will be a good reference point for when your hair grows longer to your chin and so forth!! 😁😁💕and I had to represent us with the hair that isn’t long so we can truly see what goes into maintaining length and growing healthy hair!
Thank u
No problem girl 💕💕😌🙂🙂
I been following her forever I never really paid attention to her method but now I know I want to try it my hair already long I use aloe vera and castor oil but will try the one you got thanks for the video
Same here. I ❤ indigenous strandz. I've watched her videos but never tried her method. Now I will start too..
Woohoo!! You’re back girl! 🎉🎉
So when you do the twist u just use caster oil & aloe Vera? ? No cream right?? I’m going to have to try this! I’m starting my mini twist challenge again in October!
@@miab580girl yes in addition to homemade flaxseed gel (I prefer) or eco gel but only on the ends. I’ll put link in the subscription to the products! Also the creator of this method is indigenous strandz, she has many videos on what she does. I put link to her channel in the subscription. And yes keep me posted on your progress ❤❤❤
@@miab580ohh and I would recommend medium sized twist instead of mini twists so you can keep up with the retwist a and constant remoisturization
My hair is the same length as yours, today is 14 July 2024, I hope by January 2024 my hair will be showing me longer length ❤❤❤
Dude. Your hair in the thumbnail looks so pretty 😍😍
Thanks 😊
Your hair is so shiny I love that
Thank you!! I love that too 💕
SHE'S BIZACCCKKKK 😍
Yes mam ❤ 😊
So happy you didn’t have to big chop again after the pony tail. My first time getting the ponytail was terrible and let me to cutting it all off. Those things are TERRIBLE for your hair if the stylist doesn’t value natural hair & take into account people hair porosity etc. smh. That’s why I’ve been doing my own hair as of late bc people really don’t value healthy techniques. Loving your hair!!! Your twists always look so good!
Thanks girl!! i was scared when i got back home and washed my hair because i was sure id get heat damage and bald patches in the back but i didnt get very much of either!! And no she didnt care about my natural hair AT all. I might start silk pressing my own hair once a year. thanks again, I love my twists@@Wandjell
❤❤❤ How many twists do you generally have in each quadrant?
I heard the darker the better when buying castor but I never looked ut up for myself so yeah
The lighter one I ordered from Amazon feels heavier and I like that. The darker one I get from store isn’t as heavy, but it’s cheaper and comes in different scents so I’m going to use it for now
You can see fullness and length
Thank you 😊 happy to hear that
I love the health of your hair. Don't you use shea butter,,?
Yes once a week to go my twists ❤️❤️❤️ and thank you!
Have you tried mini braids? They last longer and show length.
Hi, yes a very long time ago, but I was not a fan of the install or takedown process. I wash my hair weekly for moisture retention so making a style last is not my goal. Recently I started doing large size braids and I like them ❤️❤️
Hey beautiful ! Do you blow dry every time you retwist? I'm worried of heat damage, and how long does indegenous wait to wash just curious thank you 😊
Hi I don’t blow dry at all in between retwisting or braiding. I think she waited 1 month in between. ❤️❤️
Yall make growing hair a huge job um like if it meant to be long it will grow but I always had long hair but I don't so nothing to get it and it's nothing wrong with it sometimes just open up your hair let your scale breath because that works for me my problem is itches scale so I went back to hair grease because it is stopped my hair itching
Lol this comment cracked me up 🤣 especially the job part. But I would say for a lot of people, hair takes work to get it to the length we want without it breaking off. ❤️❤️❤️glad the grease worked for you
Some are lucky but if you have 4b/4c hair you will not have length by accident. Our hair needs care to stay moisturised
Does this also work out for relaxed hair?
Hi 👋🏽 I’m not sure since my hair isn’t relaxed, but it may be since these products are very moisturizing, but they’re heavy.
Will this routine be good for a 3 year old to help grow
I think it would be great !! 💓💓💓
Friends don’t let friends lose edges.
Stop being evil you jealous idiot, she's still doing her phenomenal routine growing her hair, what about you 🤔I'll wait🤔
*promo sm*
I tried it and my hair grew like crazy!! I just found your video because I'm starting it again. I can't wait!! Here is my video for reference of how long my hair got: czcams.com/video/Ia2uWK4B5Bs/video.htmlsi=6ewjK2ThP90B0iO7
