I know this type of "versus" review isn't the standard in the CZcams community, but perhaps it's exactly what your looking for. Glad you began the video the way you did. One of the most common questions I get...”what’s the most comfortable holster that conceals the best??”. Dude it’s hard to communicate that I cannot possibly know what would wrk for them. I KNOW what works for me. All we can do is tell people which companies make a quality product and back it up with stellar customer service. They have to choose what they think is comfortable.

Excellent review, thanks for sharing. My old-style AGIS recently cracked near the concealment claw; T1C got back to me immediately and shipped a replacement less than 72 hours later. I had already ordered an Axis Elite since I'm adding a TLR-7A to my EDC, so I now have both of those holsters arriving this week. Can't wait to compare them side by side. Just wanted to drop a plug for T1C's top-tier customer service, and again say thanks for comparing all three of these models.

I worked really hard at this review because I’m using a new video editing software system that has definitely presented a series of challenges along the way. Yeah there is a reason why I align myself with companies like Tier1 Concealed. If a company doesn’t stand behind their products then that is a no go for me. To dive even further, a company can stand behind their products but have terrible customer service. My belief is you can’t have success with just one or the other. They have to work in unison together with a quality product. Tier1 Concealed delivers that and that is the reason why I truly believe in their products, customer service, and the people that work there.
Does it take 30-35 days to receive it?

Haha your welcome. Definitely try the AGIS or the AGIS ELITE. And you may want to consider picking up a pack of Concealment wedges. Just make sure to buy the packs that are all the same size vs the variety pack. The only thing I don’t know how to advise she was what size to go with. Although you may not need them if you’re still having some Concealment issues they can make a difference. I’ve done a video on my Instagram of how you can set your holster and the Concealment wedges up to be able to move them in different positions on the back of the holster to find the perfect fit.Thank you for stopping by the channel and the kind words. SONofLIBERTY I was looking at what the true physical differences were between holsters. You broke it down all the way to the space between the gun and the mag. This led you to point out about how your draw changes due to your shirt collapsing in the gap between your gun and mag. Great breakdown man. 👍🏽 I only wish I hadn’t just bought the elite... Nice review. Well articulated and got your drift. Nice setup by the way. Decided on stepping up in size from a 23 to a standard 22 with red dot and tlr1. Harder to conceal. Ordered an axis elite. Thanks

just ordered an axis elite for my 320x compact and really liked the info --have been using there holsters for a few years and carry my cz p10s and p10c in axis holsters and have been very happy with them. once again thx for the great info

Really a good video to watch for anyone looking at appendix carry. What I noticed most is the right corner of the red dot coming through the shirt. Maybe just need to adjust where it sits... subbed!!

Great video! I purchased the Axis Elite in Nov 2020 and was struggling with printing with my small tactical belly. I purchased the T1C wedges and used the XL. After wearing the rig for 2 months, I finally changed the ride height for a slightly deeper conceal and voila!! My printing issues improved significantly. The Axis Elite is a very comfortable rig. Highly recommend it!
Yeah Sometimes they just need a little fine tuning to get the right fit for the right body type. Glad you got it figured out

@@SONofLIBERTY I also watched your Video on I think .. TC 1 holster and ARD holster. ARD or TC 1 no appendix rig for Glock 43 x mos with weapons light. I actually was very seriously considering the TC1, looks less bullk and think I would benefit from extra flexibility. Have a super active lifestyle always on the go, in any out of cars, trucks, walks dogs, etc.. etc..I'm 5ft 8 165 Pretty good shape. Thinking the Axis Elite is the next best option?

I carry a G17 every day in the same exact holster( the Axis slim, with the same color way as well)and I love it. Definitely the most comfortable holster I own.

If I may, could I point you towards how Modern Samurai teaches drawing from AIWB? Seems like you aiming for the piece of garment between the gun and mag is costing you a few seconds compared to grabbing for a proprioceptive index (your belly button). Trying to decide between Axis Elite and the Axis Slim. Any help on why to choose one over the other? Does gun size matter with these? Slim for compact/subcompact guns?
No the gun size doesn’t matter but I will say that if you’re an active person or you’re the type of person that you spend long hours with a holster on I believe personally that you will benefit better from the axis elite. You are afforded much more flexibility in movement throughout the day and doing things that we encounter on a day-to-day basis.

Awesome, yeah I’m a Gulf War Veteran. The tail end of the war actually right before the USS Cole was hit. I’m a Plank Owner of the John C Stennis, Shell Back and Arounf the World certificate holder, which is my most cherished accomplishments from the Navy. Thank you for your service brother. You did a review on the TXC X1 Ally 2 years ago. Is the Axis Elite a better option? The X1 Ally looked pretty good!
100% being transparent here, I’m an affiliate with Tier1 and they help support the channel with each holster you buy using the link down below. The TXC holsters are good quality. With that being said their are some differences between the two holster. Some subtle and some not. I can name them if you truly want me too but to keep this novel I’m writing down now I’ll surpass that for now. There are more features on the Tier1 holster that I prefer over the TXC.

Can the axis elite be run at 3-4 o’clock? I’m very active, I’m 5’10 175 and have the cross fitter type body you mentioned. I will be switching from athletic clothes to full suits frequently. I will probably switch frequently from appendix to strong side carry. Any suggestions?
You need the AGIS elite then for sure. There are some subtle differences between the AGIS and the AGIS elite. However the AXIS line of holsters is joined with shock cordage. You would have to untie the cordage and reconnect it every time you wanted to switch from appendix to strong side. Would you get REALLY tired of this after the first time. That’s why the AGIS line was developed, for people just like you. I would get a wedge pack as a safeguard. Put a piece a SOFT (loop Velcro) on the back of the holster, and the hook part of the Velcro on the back of the wedge or wedges. This Will give you the ability to wear a wedge if you need one for better conceal ability due to the potential shape of your abdominal wall. But when you switch to the strong side you can peel the Wedge off of the back of the holster and reattach it later when you switch back to appendix. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who has used a wedge strong side, because people just don’t need it like they do appendix. I will be covering this topic in a new video coming up I’m just waiting on some new holsters to get here for demonstration in the video. Not really just a belly with more curvature haha. My tactical tummy fluctuates with the seasons.
Common sense would point towards soft and pudgy having more give lending itself towards concealment vs flat/"washboard" backing, all other things being equal... ...
What is the difference between the T1C “quick ship” Axis Elite and the Axis Elite?
The QUICK SHIP option is one for a few select common model guns and is Typically BLACK Kydex ONLY. If you have a common gun (ie Glock 19) and dont want any custom features the Quick Ship option is for you. If you have an uncommon gun, and want a specific kydex color option you need to select the other Axis Elite. You'll have MUCH more options of customization options.
