The non-comedians have their jokes written for them but you still need to be able to tell a joke to make it work. Maybe it's because it was unexpected but Jewel's delivery made those jokes great.
That crowd was bound and determined not to laugh at anything that Ann Coulter said. I still can't understand why anyone would have invited her nor why she would ever have accepted.
Why she was invited: Rob Lowe wanted people to insult her instead of him
Why she said yes: To promote her book and convince people to vote for Trump
