@@Ahnestly its a pain, but I was able to build a ITX system 3 years ago using a Raijintek Metis Plus and a Biostar A681-350 MB. had a bit of a time doing it, but it came out wonderful. 3 2.5" HD's and a 2GB video card... 8GB memory... I use it for a media player in my bedroom... love it... I ordered the Gold Chassis and I wish I could still get the same one, except in silver this time...
I did a simulare build in this case for 1½ year ago. And it was a pain!!!. Even though my graphic card is a Tuf 1660 super and 2 fans at the bottom. But now im here to see if a Strix 3070 ti can fit in the NP200. And it looks like it can!
This video really helped me out, I used it as a guide to build in the case and it was funny seeing us run into similar problems. It was my first time building a PC in such a small case, so it was a real lifesaver and saved me from the few extra headaches I would've gotten if I had done it on my own. The CPU pin for my board ended up sitting right under the back fan and I ended up having to remove the board to get the pins in, because it would've been borderline impossible to get the pins in otherwise. So pro tip for anyone planning to use an ASRock B550M-ITX/AC with this case, get that CPU cable on before mounting the board in the case. The only issue I had was the cable for the front power botton was a bit finiky, I think it sits a bit loose (on my board at least) and had to remove it and reinsert it on the board to get it working. I've read reviews where other people had a similar issue, so it's a small flaw in what is otherwise a great case.

I typed this comment with the pc I built by following this guide :) Thank you so much! I have the exact same case, cooler and psu so this guide was so helpful, especially since this was my first build.
Very detailed video! Was directed here when browsing through instagram. Custom cable sets from Pslates would definetly make the cable management way easier in the NR200. I'm no cable management ninja myself, but with a little more time pre-routing and training the stock cables of the Cooler Master PSU, you could fit the PSU in the SFX position, making you able to top mount two 25mm fans. For example, the 8pin cable could be routed via the top, channelling either behind the PSU. 24 pin can be bent to fit into the channel between the RAM slots and the PSU cage, PSU cables have to be bent and folded afterwards to be managed and plugged in. Cheers!
The biggest problem with the PSU position is that they come out of the power supply pretty rigid, so they end up pushing against the GPU, causing it to sag. As long as a cable can bend super tight at the power supply area, you should be fine!
Great video! Looking to build my first pc ITX format for convenience. A tip for you guys: fans blow air in the direction where the cage is facing! If you look at them, they have one side with the fan and the other has a black plastic cage protecting... The air goes towards the cage. Hope it's useful!
Cool video dude! Would be interesting to see it under a stress test? Have you done a stress test on it and has it been fine? Can you tell us some numbers i.e. Watts (power consumption) cpu and gpu temperature? Also would be great to see a video on that!
Great build and Video, I have only one question. I see you use a fan splitter for a normal fan and a smaller fan and i was wondering if those two fans have identical technical specifications because if they don't the fan control app will have issues adjusting the speed!
homie says "budget parts" when here in Australia at the moment the GPU is $4199 and the CPU is $1149 lmao. much love tho it was a really interesting build to watch
Lolll I said this was the FASTEST PC possible using more budget minded parts. So I used fastest components like 5950 and wanted a 3080 but reused my old 3090 BUT instead of $500 motherboard, I used a $180 one, instead of $400 ssd, used a $200 one, etc etc
Suggestion: Pass the CPU cable behind the motherboard. It will give you a little more cable and make it look better. Take off the top railing when attaching the cable and also to screw in your mother board to the case. It will save you some hassle. In addition, that audio cable If you detach the cable from the case in the front then attach it to the motherboard without the extension. This will reduce the amount of cable you have to hide. I tucked everything away next to the PSU and under the front cover. Zip tying everything down makes everything neater and you can bunch cables together. My build is a Ryzen 7 5700G, 32 GB ballistic memory, two M. 2s 1 TB each and two SSDs (1 and 2 TB). Currently, I'm running a push pull configuration with two fans at the bottom and two on the top. However, I'm going to change that next week when I will put in a Be Quiet pure loop 240 mm radiator in the bottom (Be Quiet Pure Loop has an inline pump).
Ronnie hes a pro. We are mot. Thats why hes teaching us with this video but still having trouble with the cpu cooling fans and dont even know of the case fits a itx or atx mobo. Building a similar build tonight. Thanks for some of the tips such as the PSU button. That would be a pain to realize you didn't flip it on once its done.
I fit the silverstone sfx-l 1000W plat in there. It’s fine, things fit. I got real good at building in this case as a result because I had to work around it but it will still fit a 330mm card, a radiator, two top fans (the front top has to be 15mm thick) just fine :) Edit: I got the 1000w because a rep at micro center said it’s a must for stability with the 3090 and this is currently the only option.
Love the videos man, keep it up. Been away from the PC world for a while to work on music and whatnot, but ya kind've brought me back to the master race lol.
How do you think, can this case hold 7950x with 7900XTX? OR thermals will be awful? And I even will be able to Insert full-size PSU? In this manual for PSU bracket is Important information(GPU restrictions 240 and ATX PSU no longer that 160:(?)
hey you have really good content and definitely worth my sub, this is just my two cents but i think itd look a little better you had more lighting...just seems a tad dark
Well I did my first ITX build to put behind the tv, as a steam console, and it was a hassle cable management wise, also stuff needs to be put in certain orders and I would hate to have to swap anything now that it's done. M-atx is really the sweet spot for something that is easily serviceable.
How come you can get your hands on the parts... I'm jelly The only thing I am able to buy so far is NR200, some case fans, and SF600. The rest would probably be available in year 2077

If you live near a Microcenter I would suggest starting there. I look online to my local Microcenter and it looks like they are starting to get a supply of gpus, not great but something.
cool guide man. but i'd be so much better if you'd flip the video so that we can view the build process from first person view. Anyway cool cool guide!
I use a receiver for surround sound. So would like to have a thin and slim htpc like small for factor pc. Designed one in Protocase but it costs a lot to make a single one. A lot a lot. Any sff cases that are stereo component like?
I would say you'd want to go with something liek this geni.us/kKsm5D this was my first sff case and I loved it! Little bit of a pain to build in, but still great!
Fuma 2 is surprisingly good, but I'm going to have to go with something more robust. When I edit, CPU temps can spike to 90C+ but that's bc this is a $800 processor being cooled by a $50 cooler!
Pretty sure the mobo is good with ram from most major manufacturers so you should be ok! To be sure, I'd run a Google search to make sure theyre compatible or do a bread box approach to building where you assemble the PC outside the case first to verify everything works!
just something to add, the B550I does support PCIE 4.0 storage in one of the slots. the upsell to the X570 is unnecessary in my opinion. great video tho 👍🏼
I have both PSUs and agree that the Corsair 750 is better. The cables are far better than the flat ribbon of the Cooler Master PSU. It’s easier to fold especially when working in a SFF case
Very true, but I like the CM a little better here bc the cable length seems perfect for this case and don't need to worry about one getting eaten by the CPU cooler fan lol
Thank you very much for posting. Your video just popped up on my list, which turned out perfect. I bought a RTX 3080 Ti FE at Best Buy two days ago (after waiting all night), and the CM NR200 (no P) is the case I want to build in. And all other components are available now. If you have the time to comment (if not, :), I'm thinking of this build: 1. ASUS Maximus VII Impact Mini DTX 2. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3. Noctua NS-L12S CPU Cooler 4. RTX 3080 Ti FE Graphics Card 5. SSD - Samsung 1T Pro PCIe NVMe 6. CM V SFX Gold 850 Power 7. 3 x Noctua A12x25 120 Fans 8. Monitor: LG 32GP850-B Ultragear QHD Monitor. So, any and all comments are appreciated. Thank you very much.
It's always great to see such a performance in this small size. Is the cpu runs fine? Like does it throttle, the clock speed is low,...? What is avarage cpu and gpu temp while gaming?
Hey Idk if you're going to see this since this video was made like an year ago. But could you or anyone else can give a timestamp of where you've installed fan because in description theres a link to a 120mm Fuma Case fan, (not the cpu cooler, its a Singular 120mm case fan.)
Noise is fantastic, but temps do get hot. I plan to make a follow up going in depth, but idle, on CPU, i'm sitting anywhere between 45-50C and when editing, it can get as hot as 85C. GPU is idle around 34C and ramped up, can hit up to 70C. If you go with a less powerful CPU or use an AIO, i think you can definitely bring the temps down.
@@Ahnestly awesome, I doubt I’d downgrade the CPU because the 5950 is the next best thing without going TR. Your temps aren’t too far off mine and I have a larger case with an AIO! You could explore further undervolting both the CPU/GPU if that brings any benefits at all. Thanks for getting back to me, looking forward to the follow up video!
@@Ahnestly With the current setup, you have no intake fans except the GPU fans intake for itself. If you haven't switched coolers yet, you can help out your CPU by switching top fan to intake and let the Fuma 2 do all the exhausting. It needs fresh air to cool the CPU properly. An even better option would be to flip your Fuma 2 fans to intake from the back so it can directly get fresh air from outside the case and let the top fan exhaust. Maybe you could fit a slim fan for the 2nd top fan but your cooler is pretty beefy so idk.
I also have my construction that does not start and I don't understand why. I'm glad you solved it by changing the cable. I'll try too. Or do you have any suggest
Was a good build, personally I do my CPU, 24pin and other cables into the board then trace back to the PSU,it's a lot easier that way IMHO. but yep all good build?
Props to @Qorkado and @Matthew Brodman for suggesting video titles. I took inspiration from both your suggestions!

this was my first sff case and I loved it! Little bit of a pain to build in, but still great!
I'm looking to do a similar build with a ASUS 3060ti. How did the Fuma 2 feel? I feel like it's a great option for me as I have a 3900x.
Fuma 2 is surprisingly good, but I'm going to have to go with something more robust. When I edit, CPU temps can spike to 90C+ but that's bc this is a $800 processor being cooled by a $50 cooler!
@@Ahnestly noctua c14s is less headache and more effective with slim fans at case bottom plus top
Hey! Just wanted to clarify, does 64Gb G.SKILL RipJaws V Series F4-3600C18D-64GVK work fine with this motherboard? Any issues? Thanks.
Pretty sure the mobo is good with ram from most major manufacturers so you should be ok! To be sure, I'd run a Google search to make sure theyre compatible or do a bread box approach to building where you assemble the PC outside the case first to verify everything works!

Thank you!!!
Love this.
Thank yuo!!!
Haha this is really helpful dude
Looks really nice your dark 3090.
What is the blue cable attached to the computer that is lit up on power?
I just built a similar PC with a 3080Ti and 10900K, small form factor is so convenient
Seriously!!!
where abouts did u get your custom cables from
just something to add, the B550I does support PCIE 4.0 storage in one of the slots. the upsell to the X570 is unnecessary in my opinion. great video tho 👍🏼
Use liquid metal from Grizzly instead. Best choice I ever made, especially for my laptop. 15 degrees lower CPU temperature, no problem.
Do you prefer NR200 over NZXT H1 for SFF?
Would be possible to do the same with 12900k and DDR5 memory ?
Would this build fit an Auros 3070 ti graphics card?
The "SFF Specific Accessories" section is gold. The USB connector in the case is so hard to work with.
where do i find the headphone hanger that can be attached to ur case? (in the thumbnail of the vid)
geni.us/DdeF here you are sir! It's an affiliate link - hope that's ok!
@@Ahnestly thank you so much for the quick reply.
uhmm, it was running 42C at 3.4 GHz..... how was the benchmarking score?
Thank you very much for posting. Your video just popped up on my list, which turned out perfect. I bought a RTX 3080 Ti FE at Best Buy two days ago (after waiting all night), and the CM NR200 (no P) is the case I want to build in. And all other components are available now. If you have the time to comment (if not, :), I'm thinking of this build:
1. ASUS Maximus VII Impact Mini DTX
2. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
3. Noctua NS-L12S CPU Cooler
4. RTX 3080 Ti FE Graphics Card
5. SSD - Samsung 1T Pro PCIe NVMe
6. CM V SFX Gold 850 Power
7. 3 x Noctua A12x25 120 Fans
8. Monitor: LG 32GP850-B Ultragear QHD Monitor.
So, any and all comments are appreciated. Thank you very much.
Everything looks great except not sure if those noctuas are slim fans, but if not, you will likely only be able to use one at the top!
@@Ahnestly Thank you very much for the prompt reply. :) Never thought about thinner fans. TY. Noctua NF A12 x 15 PWM :)
It's always great to see such a performance in this small size. Is the cpu runs fine? Like does it throttle, the clock speed is low,...? What is avarage cpu and gpu temp while gaming?
Why build a small PC, just use a normal ATX case, never down clock it!
A dark mode channel😍
Did your mobo come with the updated bios to use 4th gen ryzen or did you have update using a 3rd gen? ASUS Says 3rd gen compatible only.
It was fully compatible out of the box!
Hey Idk if you're going to see this since this video was made like an year ago. But could you or anyone else can give a timestamp of where you've installed fan because in description theres a link to a 120mm Fuma Case fan, (not the cpu cooler, its a Singular 120mm case fan.)
Awesome video. One question: will the 3070 noctua fit in this case?
If my 3090 strix will fit in the case, there is almost no gpu that will not fit
42:50 Considering this case has no front inflow, taking air from the back actually makes more sense.
Yes! This was my mistake!
Wow i just bought that case, can't believe a mini itx case can fit a 3 fan fricken 3090 and 5950x lol
lolll
Hey man, I have a similar build but in an O11D and I’m itching to downsize to SFF - how are the temps and noise levels on use?
Maybe you could fit a slim fan for the 2nd top fan but your cooler is pretty beefy so idk.
nice , will this cooler fit on my msi mpg b550 gaming edge wifi
How do I connect 4 fans to a single fan header?
I also have my construction that does not start and I don't understand why. I'm glad you solved it by changing the cable. I'll try too. Or do you have any suggest
Confirm your power supply is switched on. Try removing your ram and switch out ram modules, one at a time. Try using a different power supply
Was a good build, personally I do my CPU, 24pin and other cables into the board then trace back to the PSU,it's a lot easier that way IMHO. but yep all good build?
Totally need that USB 3.0 interference acceptor!
