What is the difference between extrusion and injection screw?

1. Standard injection screw, as usual, coming with screw tip and check ring for the shot control
2. The thicker the barrel, the longer the temperature can be kept. The thinner barrel heats up quickly, at the same time it loses temperature faster.
3. Extrusion screw can be used for injection molding just like a plunger?
