You can also make grape wine without yeast, but in this video we will show you how to make grape wine easy with dry yeast. You can consider this grape wine recipe with wheat.
To prepare a traditional Christmas wine recipe, you will need to mix all the ingredients for grape wine as mentioned below and keep for 21 days in a cool and dark place. It also requires to be stirred on a everyday basis at a regular time for prevention of molds / fungus and also to Co2 to escape from the container formed during fermentation. On the 22nd day, you can filter the wine, add caramelized sugar and again keep for another 14 days before bottling the wine for Christmas.

Best home made grape wine recipe
Looks amazing! Nice recipe!
Homemade grape vine looks great. Good preparation👍
Like the process 🥰
Looks like perfect wine very nice
The wine recipe is Good no diubt, but loved the reggae music very much.❤❤
Awesome
Nice
Good for diabetic patients
Its better to avoid using clothes(for drying or remove water) as there willl be dust or lets say fine cord of flax, cotton, or other fibrous material spun out to considerable length. I say this, for cleanliness purpose and avoid contamination as this meant for drinking.
with 2 kgs grapes how many wine bottles did u get??
Old monk bottle used for storing wine coconut shell laddle(cheruta tavi)...oh my god bloody gramwasi malayali 😂😂😂❤❤
We are tani malayalees 😂
Nice. Thank you very much. Why you add water? Any reason?
Water is added to dilute and get the right consistency of wine. Else, it will become very thick.
@@Luv4FoodNTravel thanks
Hello what is the size of the jar that you used? And what is the amount of water, we need this for our project, thank you!!
If you take 1 kg of grapes, then you will need to take a jar, which will hold 5-6 litres of water.
is it okay if i will not put carmelized sugar? it is because we will make it at school.. or can you give me an alternative please?
Adding caramelized sugar is for getting a rich color of wine. It is only optional. You can skip this step.
I see fewer adding beetroot juice to add colour to the wine. Why does it needed? If so, what's the purpose of wine? Such things not really necessary if one wants to enjoy the quality and flavours of red or any wine.
Hi, could we use other spatulas like rubber? Cause we don't have that
If you have a silicone spatula, pls use that. The whole idea is that, wine should not react with the spatula. Steel or plastic spatula may react and spoil the wine.
@@Luv4FoodNTravel ohhh okii, thankss
Hello, thanks for this video. I have a question: When the fermentation process is finished And get the final drink Can we consume it? Does it contain methanol? Could it be Sam?
Once the fermentation process is done, you can consume it after filtering. However, its best to keep it for few days for the wine to clear. It will not contain methanol.
thank you very much for answering my question. this information is valuable. now I can make my wine quietly. Thank you so much.
@@hamzaaouidet9021methanol danger is for distilled drinks. Wine doesnt have dangerous methanol
Hi i added everything except wheat. is that okay ? what is the purpose of adding wheat in wine making process?
Wheat is an optional ingredient. It is added to make wine more stronger.
After i filtered out the grape wine, can i store it just for 7 days? Thank you
Yes you can. Keeping it for 2 weeks will help settle the residue to a great level.
Hi! is it okay if we don’t put a whole wheat, cinnamon and cloves?
Yes, whole wheat is optional, it is added to increase the strength of wine. Spices are added to get good aroma. This is also optional only.
I am leaving on vacation the day before my wine is done fermenting. Should i strain on the 20 day, or can i come back and let the wine ferment another 4 days when i come home?
You can wait till you come back from your vacation and then filter it. 4 days is not an issue, if it is more than a week, then I would have asked you to strain it on the 20th day.
@@Luv4FoodNTravel thank you!
Do you really wish to experience the original quality of wine, please avoid cloths(remove or drying water from grapes), and caramelized sugar.
Sugar added is wrong way
In traditional wine no sugar will be added only pure grape juice
Is there any preservative required for long lasting ?
Homemade wines are good for 3-6 months only. Just ensure you have clean and sterilized containers and ladle.
How long wine can be stored in bottles? And can we add honey instead of sugar?
This can be stored for 3-4 months. We have not tried honey instead of sugar. But if you add honey, you may need to add in more quantity and check for sweetness regularly.
How long it will remain?
Ideally it will remain good for 3-4 months, if properly stored. We have personally kept it for 6 months.
Hello,Can i use Cinnamon ground instead of cinnamon stick?
Cinnamon sticks are preferred, as it can be removed while filtering.
Can we use a glass jar instead of a ceramic one?
You can use a glass jar, but ensure it is kept in a dark cool place. Sunlight and warm place will spoil the wine
Hi! is it okay if we don’t put a whole wheat??
Yes, adding whole wheat is optional,. It is used to increase the strength of wine.
If i will only use 1kg of grapes, what will be the amount tu use for the ther ingredients?
Then, you can reduce all the ingredients by half, as shown in the video.
Make with jagry this is sugar juice
Can we use sanitized hands for mixing?
For crushing grapes, you can use your sanitized hands, but not for daily stirring.
Is it 21+ another 14 days? Otherwise its a nice recpe.👍
For best results, it is recommended to keep 21 +14 days. Else, the wine is ready in about 21 days
I thought you shouldn’t use steel for the wine. You’ve used steel vessels to filter?
Yes, you shouldn't use steel for storing wine. But its fine to use for temporary activity like filtering etc, as it will be used only for few mins.
Can i use cinnamon bark instead of cinnamon stick?
Yes, you can use cinnamon bark
Is it a good idea to include fermented honey?
Adding honey into wine is not a good idea, as it will need sugar to ferment the wine
@@Luv4FoodNTravel If we are beekeepers, we will reduce costs and increase the level of alcohol.
Can i use bread yeast?
Yes, you can use bread yeast. We have only tried with dry yeast.
Surprising, no hydrometer used nor have you checked the Gravity before and after fermentation. How do you tell the ABV or alcohol content then?
is it okay to not use wheat?
Yes, whole wheat is optional. It is added to increase the strength of wine.
Is it okay, if I don't add yeast?
Without yeast, wine will not ferment. There will need to be a fermenting agent in any case.
what is the percentage for this
It will be around 10%-12%
Broken wheat mathiyo
Broken wheat is not recommended. But you can skip wheat all together. It is generally added to make the wine stronger.
Caramelization of sugar not really necessary, if one expects the real taste of wine out of grapes. At times, if caramelization unfortunately is gone wrong, the whole stuff lost its original wine flavour and wasted.
I don't really do these sorts of caramelized sugar, and without this, I have prepared the best wine and many have enjoyed it and more and more contacts keep increasing to order.
Where you live
Are these grapes with or without seeds?
These grapes are with seeds. we will be filtering it, and these seeds will not impact the taste of wine.
@@Luv4FoodNTravel ok thank you
Meri wine ki fermentation stop ho gayi hai 14 din main to kya karu?
Even if the fermentation is stopped, filter it and store it in a cool and dark place, undisturbed for couple of weeks.
Is it okay if I will not use cloves and whole wheat?
Cloves are added to make the wine bit spicy & aromatic, while whole wheat is added to increase the strength of the wine. It is optional.
Why to keep it for 14 days
Keeping wine for 14 days will make the wine clearer, with all sediments at the down. Also, keeping the wine will make it tastier
Caramelization looks like adding food colour to the biryani. Do you really need such colouring? Not really.
كم نسبة الكحول بالنبيذ بهذه الطريقة لكم الشكر والتقدير
This wine will have close to 10% alcohol by using this recipe
شكرا لكم thanks
You dry in the cloth but you put in the jar with water useless in drying
The grapes were washed in normal tap water, but the water used in the jar is boiled and cooled. Normal tap water beyond a certain amount will spoil the wine.
@@Luv4FoodNTravel but verry little water from washing , second you can washed again by water come from boiling for easy and Quick procedure no need to dry in the cloth
Bugo dikabalo mang instruct
Didn't get you.
Is it alcoholic??
Yes, it is alcoholic, it will be around 10 - 12% alcohol.
